Dr. Chuang served as the Director of the Faculty of Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University (2005 to 2008) and served as President of the Taiwan Association for the Study of the Liver (2010 and 2011). Currently, he is the Director of the Hepatitis Prevention and Treatment Center and Chief of the Hepatobiliary Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital.
