Abstract
Regional odontodysplasia (ROD) is a rare localized dental developmental anomaly. The typical clinical manifestations of ROD are abnormal tooth eruption, abnormal development of enamel and dentin. The radiographic characteristic is "ghost teeth". Its etiology still remains unknown. The care and treatment of a patient with ROD needs a multidisciplinary approach. And the treatment should be taken after the assessment of each individual case of ROD. This paper reviews the definition, etiology, epidemiological features, clinical manifestations, imaging features, dental microstructure and treatment strategies of ROD to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Emerging evidence suggests a common pathophysiological basis for metabolic disorders and mental diseases. Despite the existence of reports suggesting a strong connection between dyslipidemia and depression, a comprehensive and reliable indicator to identify depression is still lacking. Cardiometabolic index (CMI) is an integrated index calculated from three vital metabolic indicators, including triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) and waist height ratio (WHtR). OBJECTIVE This study aims to explore the association between CMI and depression. METHODS Cross-sectional data of participants with complete information of CMI, depression, and other covariates were obtained from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Weighted student's t-test and Chi-square test were used to identify the differences between two groups. Weighted multivariate logistic regression model, restricted cubic spline (RCS) regression analysis, subgroup analysis and interaction tests were conducted to explore the association between CMI and depression. Receiver operating curve (ROC) analysis and area under the curve (AUC) were also utilized to evaluate the performance of CMI in identifying depression. RESULTS A positive correlation between CMI and depression was observed in 3794 participants included in the study, which was further confirmed to be non-linear via RCS regression analysis, with two significant inflection points being identified, including 0.9522 and 1.58. In the crude or adjusted models, individuals with a CMI level ≥ 0.9522 exhibited remarkably increased risk for developing depression. CMI got an AUC of 0.748 in identifying depression. Subgroup analyses and interaction tests indicate that the association between CMI and depression remained consistent across different subgroups and was not modified by other covariates except drinking. Those who are current drinkers and with a high CMI are more susceptible to suffer depression. CONCLUSIONS An elevated CMI is linked to increased risk for depression. Addressing dyslipidemia and improving lipid levels may potentially lower the risk for depression.

Abstract
AIM To evaluate the efficacy and safety of perfluoro-n-octane (PFO) for ophthalmic surgery versus F-Octane as an intraoperative tamponade in pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) in management of retinal detachment. METHODS This multicenter, prospective, randomized, double-masked, parallel-controlled, non-inferiority trial was conducted in three ophthalmology clinical centers in China. Patients with retinal detachment, who were eligible for PPV were consecutively enrolled. Participants were assigned to PFO for ophthalmic surgery or F-Octane for intraocular tamponade in a 1:1 ratio. Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement, and dilated fundus examination were performed preoperatively and at 1, 7±1, 28±3d postoperatively. The primary outcome was complete retinal reattachment rate at postoperative day one. The non-inferiority margin was set at 9.8%. The secondary outcomes included intraoperative retinal reattachment rate, and mean changes in IOP and BCVA from baseline to 1, 7±1, 28±3d postoperatively, respectively. Safety analyses were presented for all randomly assigned participates in this study. RESULTS Totally 124 eligible patients completed the study between Mar. 14, 2016 and Jun. 7, 2017. Sixty of them were randomly assigned to the PFO for ophthalmic surgery group, and 64 were assigned to the F-Octane group. Baseline characteristics were comparable between the two groups. Both groups achieved 100% retinal reattachment at postoperative day one (difference 0, 95%CI: -6.21% to 5.75%, P=1). The pre-defined noninferiority criterion was met. No significant difference was observed in intraoperative retinal reattachment rate (difference 1.77%, P=0.61), mean changes in IOP (difference 0.36, -0.09, 2.22 mm Hg at 1, 7±1, 28±3d postoperatively, with all P>0.05) and BCVA (difference 0.04, -0.02, 0.06 logMAR at 1, 7±1, 28±3d postoperatively, all P>0.05) between the two groups. No apparent adverse events related to the utilization of PFO were reported. CONCLUSION In patients with retinal detachment undergoing PPV, PFO for ophthalmic surgery is non-inferior to F-Octane as an intraocular tamponade, and both are safe and well-tolerated.

Abstract
We report compound heterozygous variants in TOE1 in siblings of Chinese origin who presented with dyskinesia and intellectual disabilities. Our report provides further information regarding the etiology and pathogenesis of pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 7 syndrome (PCH7). Clinical manifestations were obtained, and genomic DNA was collected from family members. Whole-exome and Sanger sequencing were performed to identify associated genetic variants. Bioinformatics analysis was conducted to identify and characterize the pathogenicity of the heterozygous variants. Following long-term rehabilitation, both siblings showed minimal improvement, and their condition tended to progress. Whole-exome sequencing revealed two unreported heterozygous variants, NM_025077: c.C553T (p.R185W) and NM_025077: c.G562T (p.V188L), in the TOE1 gene mapped to 1p34.1. Sanger sequencing confirmed that the two variants in the proband and her brother were inherited from their parents. The NM_025077: c.C553T (p.R185W) variant was inherited from the father, and the NM_025077: c.G562T (p.V188L) variant was inherited from the mother. Although the two variants in the TOE1 gene have not been reported previously, they were associated with PCH7 based on integrated analysis. Thus, our report contributes to our knowledge regarding the etiology and phenotype of PCH 7.

Abstract
PURPOSE To observe the efficacy and safety of intranasal dexmedetomidine combined with midazolam in cranial magnetic resonance imaging of children. DESIGN A prospective, observational, single-arm, one-center study. METHODS A total of 474 children were scheduled for cranial 3.0 T MRI at the first time. All patients were initially given 3 mcg/kg dexmedetomidine combined with 0.15 mg/kg midazolam. The one-time success rate, vital signs before and after treatment, onset time, recovery time, and incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. FINDINGS The one-time success rate was 78.1%. There were significant differences in respiration, heart rate, and blood oxygen saturation before and after treatment (P < .001). The onset time was 10 (8-15) minutes. The average recovery time was 2.58 ± 1.10 hours. Only 1.27% (6 cases) of adverse reactions were observed, including bradycardia (3 cases, 0.6%), tachycardia (1 case, 0.2%), and startle (2 cases, 0.4%). No special treatment was needed. The success of the examination was significantly correlated with age (OR 1.320, 95% CI 1.019-1.710, P = .035) and onset time (OR 0.959, 95% CI 0.921-0.998, P = .038). CONCLUSION Dexmedetomidine 3 mcg/kg combined with midazolam 0.15 mg/kg intranasally has a good sedative effect in pediatric cranial magnetic resonance examinations, little impact on breathing and circulation, and few adverse reactions. Age and onset time are related factors affecting the one-time success rate.

Abstract
Patients with hepatobiliary tumors who accept radiotherapy are at risk for radiation-induced liver fibrosis. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been implicated in the pathogenesis of radiation-induced liver damage and possess potential as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. However, the role of miR-146a-5p in radiation-induced liver fibrosis is less well understood. The current study was designed to evaluate the role of miR-146a-5p in radiation-induced liver fibrosis in mice and to investigate the possible mechanisms involved in miR-146a-5p-mediated effects. The experiments were performed on Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) mice which received fractionated radiation (30 Gy in 5 fractions) to the liver. The results show radiation could induce histopathological changes, liver dysfunction and fibrosis accompanied with decreased miR-146a-5p expression. miR-146a-5p agomir treatment resulted in recovery of liver function and reduced the amount of alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), collagen 1, protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type A (PTPRA) and phosphorylated SRC in the livers of irradiated mice. Therefore, our study reveals that miR-146a-5p inhibits the progression of hepatic fibrosis after radiation treatment. And the beneficial role of miR-146a-5p may be relevant to PTPRA-SRC signaling pathway.

Abstract
Two-dimensional (2D) materials offer a prospect of membranes that combine negligible gas permeability with high proton conductivity and could outperform the existing proton exchange membranes used in various applications including fuel cells. Graphene oxide (GO), a well-known 2D material, facilitates rapid proton transport along its basal plane but proton conductivity across it remains unknown. It is also often presumed that individual GO monolayers contain a large density of nanoscale pinholes that lead to considerable gas leakage across the GO basal plane. Here we show that relatively large, micrometer-scale areas of monolayer GO are impermeable to gases, including helium, while exhibiting proton conductivity through the basal plane which is nearly two orders of magnitude higher than that of graphene. These findings provide insights into the key properties of GO and demonstrate that chemical functionalization of 2D crystals can be utilized to enhance their proton transparency without compromising gas impermeability.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the oral phenotype and gene variation of children with hypophosphatasia (HPP), and explore the genotype-phenotype correlations. Methods: Eight children diagnosed with HPP from January 2008 to January 2023 in Children's Hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine were recruited in this study. The pathogenic genes of 5 of them were sequentially analyzed and all of their oral manifestations, laboratory tests and genetic variation types were retrospectively analyzed. Results: A total of 8 children were recruited in the study, 3 males and 5 females, aged from 20 months to 104 months, whose main complaints were premature deciduous tooth loss. Among them, 3 children were diagnosed with odonto HPP, and the other 5 children were diagnosed with childhood HPP, including 2 children was odonto HPP at the first diagnosis and modified as childhood HPP at the age of 5. The age range of first deciduous tooth loss is 9 to 18 months, and the age range of diagnosis is 20 to 104 months. The patients of odonto HPP only showed premature loss of deciduous anterior tooth, while the patients with childhood HPP also showed premature loss of multiple deciduous molars. Panoramic radiographic film revealed enlarged pulp chambers and radicular canals in some primary and permanent teeth. The enamel hypoplasia, hypoplastic short roots, and alveolar resorption of deciduous molar were observed in some cases. The serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) (30-107 U/L) levels of all the patients were lower than that in the normal children of same age and gender, and the ALP value of the 1-3 years old girls with childhood HPP (30-33 U/L) was lower than that of the three children with odonto HPP (61-107 U/L), but there was no significant difference in statistical analysis. There were 8 variation sites of ALP liver/bone/kidney (ALPL) gene detected in 5 children and their families, all of which were missense variation, including the new variants in the mutations of c.1334C>G(p.Ser445Cys) and c.1259G>T(p.Gly420Val) that were not reported in the literature. One case was autosomal dominant inheritance and other 4 cases were complex heterozygous variation with autosomal recessive inheritance. Conclusions: Pediatric stomatologists are often the first doctors to detect childhood and odonto HPP. Diagnosis of mild HPP is often delayed. The severity of HPP is related to serum ALP level and ALPL gene mutation sites.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In China, the identification rate and treatment rate of mental disorders are low, and there are few surveys on the prevalence of mental disorders among college students using diagnostic tools such as Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI), so the prevalence and treatment of mental disorders among college students are unclear.
AIM To estimate prevalence of mental disorders among medical students in Hebei Province, and provide guidance for improving their mental health.
METHODS This was a cross-sectional study based on an Internet-based survey. Three levels of medical students in Hebei Province were randomly selected (by cluster sampling) for screening. Using the information network assessment system, the subjects scanned the 2D code with their mobile phones, clicked to sign the informed consent, and answered a scale. A self-designed general status questionnaire was used to collect information about age, gender, ethnicity, grade, and origin of students. The MINI 5.0. was used to investigate mental disorders. Data analysis was performed with SPSS software. Statistically significant findings were determined using a two-tailed P value of 0.05.
RESULTS A total of 7117 subjects completed the survey between October 11 and November 7, 2021. The estimated prevalence of any mental disorders within 12 mo was 7.4%. Mood disorders were the most common category (4.3%), followed by anxiety disorders (3.9%); 15.0% had been to psychological counseling, while only 5.7% had been to a psychiatric consultation, and only 10% had received drug therapy in the past 12 mo.
CONCLUSION Although the estimated prevalence of mental disorders in medical students is lower than in the general population, the rate of adequate treatment is low. We determined that improving the mental health of medical students is an urgent matter.

Abstract
Background: miR-429-mediated progression of multiple myeloma (MM) was studied through mediating B cell-specific Moloney murine leukemia virus integration site 1 (Bmi1)/protein kinase B (AKT) pathway. Methods: miRNA or siRNA was delivered into MM cell lines to alter cellular
proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration. Measurements of miR-429 and Bmi1 levels were performed. AKT and p-AKT expression change was measured after regulating miR-429. The interaction between miR-429 and Bmi1 was analyzed. Results: miR-429 elevation disrupted proliferation,
anti-apoptosis, migration and invasion properties of MM cells, and inactivated AKT pathway. Bmi1 was a targeting partner of miR-429, which was highly expressed in MM. Bmi1 knockdown phenotyped the effects of overexpressed miR-429 on MM cells. AKT agonist SC70 reversed miR-429-regulated inhibition
of MM cell growth. Conclusion: miR-429 suppresses the activation of Bmi1/AKT pathway to down-regulate the malignant functions of MM cells.

Abstract
Objective: This study sought to investigate the impact of different obesity patterns on coronary microvascular function in male patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of male patients diagnosed with suspected coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University between December 2015 and August 2021. All patients underwent the one-day rest and stress 13N-ammonia positron emission tomography myocardial perfusion imaging. Overall obesity was defined by body mass index (BMI) ≥28 kg/m2 and abdominal obesity was defined by waist circumference ≥90 cm. Hyperemic myocardial blood flow (MBF)<2.3 ml·min-1·g-1 or coronary flow reserve (CFR)<2.5 were referred as CMD. All patients were grouped based on their BMI and waist circumference. MBF, CFR, the incidence of CMD, hemodynamic parameters, and cardiac function were compared among the groups. Results: A total of 136 patients were included. According to BMI and waist circumference, patients were categorized into 3 groups: control group (n=45), simple abdominal obesity group (n=53) and compound obesity group (n=38). Resting MBF did not differ between groups (F=0.02,P=0.994). Compared with the control group, hyperemic MBF was significantly lower in the simple abdominal obesity and compound obesity groups ((2.82±0.64) ml·min-1·g-1, (2.44±0.85) ml·min-1·g-1 and (2.49±0.71) ml·min-1·g-1, both P<0.05, respectively). Hyperemic MBF was comparable among the groups of patients with obesity (P=0.772). CFR was significantly lower in the simle abdominal obesity group compared with the control group (2.87±0.99 vs. 3.32±0.62,P=0.012). Compared with the control group, CFR tended to be lower in the compound obesity group (3.02±0.91 vs. 3.32±0.62,P=0.117). The incidence of CMD was significantly higher in both the simple abdominal obesity and compound obesity groups than in the control group (62.3%, 52.6% vs. 22.2%, both P<0.01, respectively). Waist circumference was an independent risk factor for male CMD (OR=1.057, 95%CI: 1.013-1.103, P=0.011). Conclusions: In male patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease, abdominal obesity is associated with decreased coronary microvascular function. Male patients with simple abdominal obesity face the highest risk of CMD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most common drug-resistant epilepsy in adults, with pathological mechanisms remaining to be fully elucidated. Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) encodes an intracellular protein involved in microtubule stabilization and regulation of voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs) function. FGF13 mutation has been identified in patients with inherent seizure, suggesting a potential association between FGF13 and the etiology of TLE. Here, we set to explore the pathological role of FGF13 in the etiology of TLE. RESULTS We found that the expression of FGF13 was increased in the cortical lesions and CA1 region of sclerotic hippocampus and correlated with the seizure frequency in TLE patients. Also, Fgf13 expression was increased in the hippocampus of chronic TLE mice generated by kainic acid (KA) injection. Furthermore, Fgf13 knockdown or overexpression was respectively found to attenuate or potentiate the effects of KA on axonal length, somatic area and the VGSCs-mediated current in the hippocampal neurons. CONCLUSIONS Taken together, these findings suggest that FGF13 is involved in the pathogenesis of TLE by modulating microtubule activity and neuronal excitability.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Radiation-induced liver fibrosis (RILF), delayed damage to the liver (post-irradiation) remains a major challenge for the radiotherapy of liver malignancies. This study investigated the potential function and mechanism of circTUBD1 in the development of RILF. METHODS By using a dual luciferase assay, RNA pull-down assays, RNA sequencing, chromatin immunoprecipitation (known as ChIP) assays, and a series of gain- or loss-of-function experiments, it was found that circTUBD1 regulated the activation and fibrosis response of LX-2 cells induced by irradiation via a circTUBD1/micro-203a-3p/Smad3 positive feedback loop in a 3D system. RESULTS Knockdown of circTUBD1 not only reduced the expression of α-SMA, as a marker of LX-2 cell activation, but also significantly decreased the levels of hepatic fibrosis molecules, collagen type I alpha 1 (COL1A1), collagen type III alpha 1 (COL3A1), and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in a three-dimensional (3D) culture system and RILF model in vivo. Notably, knockdown of circTUBD1 alleviated early liver fibrosis induced by irradiation in mice models. CONCLUSIONS This study is the first to reveal the mechanism and role of circTUBD1 in RILF via a circTUBD1/micro-203a-3p/Smad3 feedback loop, which provides a novel therapeutic strategy for relieving the progression of RILF.

Abstract
Our previous study found that dietary nucleotide supplementation, including adenosine 5 '-monophosphate (AMP), could increase AMP content in sow milk and promote piglet growth, but its effects on placental efficiency and piglet vitality remains unknown. This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of dietary AMP or its metabolite adenosine (ADO) supplementation on sow reproductive performance and placental angiogenesis. A total of 135 sows with a similar farrowing time were blocked by backfat and body weight (BW) at day 65 of gestation, and assigned to 1 of 3 dietary treatment groups (n = 45 per treatment): basal diet, basal diet supplemented with 0.1% AMP, or 0.1% ADO, respectively. Placental analysis and the characteristics of sows and piglets unveiled that compared with control (CON) group, AMP or ADO supplementation could improve sow placental efficiency (P<0.05) and newborn piglet vitality (P<0.05), increase piglet birth weight (P<0.05), and reduce stillbirth rate (P<0.05). More importantly, AMP or ADO supplementation could increase the contents of AMP, ADO, and their metabolites in placentae (P<0.05). Meanwhile, AMP or ADO supplementation could also increase placental vascular density (P<0.05) and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A (P<0.05), as well as promote the migration and tube formation of porcine iliac artery endothelial cells (P<0.05). Overall, maternal dietary AMP or ADO supplementation could increase their contents in the placenta, thereby improving placental angiogenesis and neonatal piglet vitality.

Abstract
The Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration (PRDUA) is a highly urbanized region in China. The urbanized climate, especially the heat island effect, has a significant impact on urban ecosystems and habitats. Based on MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data and land cover data in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2019, we quantified the land surface thermal environment and ecosystem service value (ESV), analyzed the decoupling between LST and ESV in the PRDUA from 2000 to 2019 using the decoupling analysis model, revealed the trade-off between them, and analyzed the spatiotemporal variation of the synergistic state between LST and ESV in PRDUA. The results showed that, from 2000 to 2019, the spatial pattern of land surface thermal environment in the PRDUA was relatively stable in time series but showed spatial variation with high fluctuation in the core area and low fluctuation in the peripheral area. The ESV of the PRDUA showed a trend of stable spatial distribution and decreasing in time series. The ESV of all the nine cities in PRDUA decreased by more than 9%. The decoupling between land surface thermal environment and the overall ESV of the PRDUA, as well as with the values of provisioning, regulating and support services, was dominated by weak negative decoupling and strong negative decoupling, showing a more significant trade-off, which indicated that the ecosystems of the PRDUA were still significantly influenced by the environmental characteristics of urbanization, and that the spatiotemporal variation of the decoupling states was related to the spatial variation of urbanization levels in PRDUA. The formulation of future ecological policies in the PRDUA must consider the differences in urbanization levels and the differences in the trade-offs between urbanized environments and ecosystems to precisely formulate ecological control and restoration plans and improve the efficiency and implementation effects of ecological planning.

Abstract
Background Tick hemolymph bathes internal organs, acts as an exchange medium for nutrients and cellular metabolites, and offers protection against pathogens. Hemolymph is abundant in proteins. However, there has been limited integrated protein analysis in tick hemolymph thus far. Moreover, there are difficulties in differentiating tick-derived proteins from the host source. The aim of this study was to profile the tick/host protein components in the hemolymph of Haemaphysalis flava. Methods Hemolymph from adult engorged H. flava females was collected by leg amputation from the Erinaceus europaeus host. Hemolymph proteins were extracted by a filter-aided sample preparation protocol, digested by trypsin, and assayed by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). MS raw data were searched against the UniProt Erinaceidae database and H. flava protein database for host- and tick-derived protein identification. Protein abundance was further quantified by intensity-based absolute quantification (iBAQ). Results Proteins extracted from hemolymph unevenly varied in size with intense bands between 100 and 130 kDa. In total, 312 proteins were identified in the present study. Therein 40 proteins were identified to be host-derived proteins, of which 18 were high-confidence proteins. Top 10 abundant host-derived proteins included hemoglobin subunit-α and subunit-β, albumin, serotransferrin-like, ubiquitin-like, haptoglobin, α-1-antitrypsin-like protein, histone H2B, apolipoprotein A-I, and C3-β. In contrast, 169 were high-confidence tick-derived proteins. These proteins were classified into six categories based on reported functions in ticks, i.e., enzymes, enzyme inhibitors, transporters, immune-related proteins, muscle proteins, and heat shock proteins. The abundance of Vg, microplusin and α-2-macroglobulin was the highest among tick-derived proteins as indicated by iBAQ. Conclusions Numerous tick- and host-derived proteins were identified in hemolymph. The protein profile of H. flava hemolymph revealed a sophisticated protein system in the physiological processes of anticoagulation, digestion of blood meal, and innate immunity. More investigations are needed to characterize tick-derived proteins in hemolymph. Graphical Abstract ![]()

Abstract
Background: The role of adenosine A2A receptor (A2AR) in the ischemic white matter damage induced by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion remains obscure. Here we investigated the role of A2AR in the process of macrophage polarizations in the white matter damage induced by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion and explored the involved signaling pathways. Methods: We combined mouse model and macrophage cell line for our study. White matter lesions were induced in A2AR knockout mice, wild-type mice, and chimeric mice generated by bone marrow cells transplantation through bilateral common carotid artery stenosis. Microglial/macrophage polarization in the corpus callosum was detected by immunofluorescence. For the cell line experiments, RAW264.7 macrophages were treated with the A2AR agonist CHS21680 or A2AR antagonist SCH58261 for 30 min and cultured under low-glucose and hypoxic conditions. Macrophage polarization was examined by immunofluorescence. The expression of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) and transcription factor P65 was examined by western blotting and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Inflammatory cytokine factors were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and RT-PCR. Results: Both global A2AR knockout and inactivation of A2AR in bone marrow-derived cells enhanced M1 marker expression in chronic ischemic white matter lesions. Under low-glucose and hypoxic conditions, CGS21680 treatment promoted macrophage M2 polarization, increased the expression of PPARγ, P65, and interleukin-10 (IL-10) and suppressed the expression of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β). The CGS21680-induced upregulation of P65 and IL-10 was abolished in macrophages upon PPARγ knockdown. The downregulation of TNF-α and IL-1β by CGS21680 was less affected by PPARγ knockdown. Conclusions: In the cerebral hypoperfusion induced white matter damage, A2AR signaling in bone marrow-derived cells induces macrophage M2 polarization and increases the expression of the anti-inflammatory factor IL-10 via the PPARγ-P65 pathway, both of which might explain its neuroprotective effect.

Abstract
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), also known as fecal bacterial therapy, is a treatment option that can quickly reconstruct the normal composition of intestinal microbes, and it has a good therapeutic effect on Clostridium difficile infection, as well as on other microecological disorders. However, the causal mechanism of FMT efficacy remains to be clarified, its safety is a major problem, and the standardization and acceptability of FMT need to be improved. This review summarizes its current research status and potential research areas that need to be strengthened, and proposes to clarify the safety of FMT and the causal relationship between FMT and therapeutic effectiveness based on germ-free animals. Meanwhile, the research system is combined with multiomics technology to screen the effective bacteria in FMT, and develop standard, safe, effective and controllable flora of FMT.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is a ubiquitous enzyme in humans that can be used for diagnosing childhood diseases. Infants have the highest rapid growth rate and are susceptible to metabolic bone diseases. In infants, ALP activities exhibit significant month-wise variations, and authoritative standards are lacking. The present study aimed to provide a reference for the diagnosis of diseases related to abnormal ALP activities in infants. METHODS This study included 24,618 samples collected from infants aged 0-12 months from three medical centers in Chongqing, China. Samples of infants diagnosed with diseases that may affect ALP activity have been exclude. ALP activity was analyzed using an automatic biochemical analyzer. A percentile curve for ALP activity in male and female infants was constructed using MATLAB, and the skewness-median-coefficient of variation method was employed for curve fitting. RESULTS ALP activity in male and female infants peaked at 0-4 months; the peak appeared at 1-2 months and declined gradually thereafter. After 4-5 months of age, the ALP activities declined further, with the lowest values observed at 11-12 months of age. A comparison between the data from this study and a those from a published German study indicates that Chinese infants exhibited peak ALP activity later and subsequent decline greater than German infants. CONCLUSIONS A percentile curve was constructed for month-wise ALP activity in male and female infants, which could provide a reference for diagnosing diseases related to abnormal ALP activity in infants.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to evaluate the correlation and consistency between traditional head measurement and structured light three-dimensional (3D) scanning parameters when measuring infant skull shape. METHODS A total of 76 infants aged 3 months to 2.5 years old were included in the study. Head circumference (HC) was measured with a tape measure. The transverse, anteroposterior, and oblique diameters were measured using a spreading caliper, and the cranial vault asymmetry index (CVAI) and a cranial index (CI) of symmetry were calculated; 76 cases were measured successfully. The above indexes were measured using a structured light 3D scanning system (71 cases were measured with success). Thus, in the end, the valid data of 71 cases were analyzed, and the measurements of the two approaches were compared. RESULTS The 95% confidence interval of traditional head measurement and structured light 3D scanning was between 0.633 and 0.988. Pearson's correlation coefficient indicated a high correlation between the two methods (r=0.793-0.980). The correlation coefficients of the transverse diameter, anteroposterior diameter, and HC, and the CI of symmetry were higher than 0.9. The lowest correlation coefficient for the CVAI was 0.793. The P values of the above measurement data were all <0.001, which indicated that they were closely related. A Bland-Altman plot indicated reasonable consistency between the two methods. CONCLUSIONS Both traditional head measurement and structured light 3D scanning are suitable for the measurement of infant head shape. However, while traditional head measurement using a spreading caliper is economical and simple, making it suitable for general screening at a basic level, structured light 3D scanning can deliver additional parameters, which is useful for infants with an abnormal head shape. The latter is also convenient for designing a customized helmet for skull correction when needed.

Abstract
Urban green space has been implicated in shaping airborne microbes, but there is an only rudimentary understanding of the key factors of urban green space affecting the composition and structures of airborne microbes. Here, we selected 40 urban sites based on stratified random sampling design and investigated the effects of multiple factors including landscapes, plant, soil, and anthropogenic factors on airborne microbial communities, especially bacterial and fungal pathogens. Bacterial and fungal communities in the control area with lower greenness were significantly (P < 0.05) different from those in other areas with a gradient of green space. The relative abundance of bacterial and fungal pathogens significantly (P < 0.05) decreased with increasing greenness. Other than soil thickness, soil type, slope position, and population density, plant species considerably contributed to the shift in the composition and abundance of potential bacterial and fungal pathogens. A significantly (P < 0.05) reduced abundance of bacterial and fungal pathogens was observed in areas with >30% masson pine. Together, these results provide insights into the importance of green space for providing health benefits for city dwellers by reducing pathogens in air, as well as providing support for the inclusion of plant species in the management of urban green space to reduce exposure risk of airborne pathogens.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most common intractable epilepsy in adults, and elucidation of the underlying pathological mechanisms is needed. Voltage-gated chloride channels (ClC) play diverse physiological roles in neurons. However, less is known regarding their functions in the epilepogenesis of TLE. METHODS ClC-mediated current and the spontaneous inhibitory synaptic currents (sIPSC) in hippocampal neurons of epileptic lesions were investigated by electrophysiological recording. The EEG data were analyzed by Z-scored wavelet and Fourier transformations. The expression of ClC-3, a member of ClC gene family, was detected by immunostaining and western blot. FINDINGS ClC-mediated current was increased in the hippocampal neurons of chronic TLE mice. Application of chloride channel blockers, NPPB (5-Nitro-2- [3-phenylpropylamino] benzoic acid) and DIDS (4,4'-Diisothiocyanato-2,2'-stilbenedisulfonic acid disodium salt) reduced ClC-mediated current and increased inhibitory synaptic transmission in TLE mice. NPPB and DIDS reduced the seizure frequency and the average absolute power of ictal high-frequency oscillations (HFOs, 80-500 Hz) in TLE mice. In addition, both drugs induced outwardly rectified currents, which might be tonic inhibitory currents in the hippocampal neurons of TLE patients. Furthermore, the expression of ClC-3 was increased in the hippocampus of TLE mice and patients and positively correlated with both the absolute power and number of ictal HFOs per seizure in the sclerotic hippocampus. INTERPRETATION These data suggest that ClC participate in the epilepogenetic process of TLE and the inhibition of ClC may have anti-epileptic effect. Abstract
Objective: To investigate the CT features and dynamic changes of new developed lung cancer in patients with connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD). Methods: A series of chest CT images of 58 CTD-ILD patients during follow-up were collected. The CT features of interstitial lung disease, the initial appearance time of lung cancer, the time of diagnosis of lung cancer, the morphological characteristics (location, shape, size) of lung cancer lesions and the dynamic changes of CT features were analyzed. Results: Among 58 patients, rheumatoid arthritis was the most common (31 cases). Chest CT images showed coexistence of two or more interstitial CT signs. During the follow-up, a total of 59 lung cancer lesions were found. The median time of lung cancer lesion occurred was 289 days. The median delay in diagnosis was 43 days. There were 44 cases of non-small cell lung cancer (including 23 cases of squamous cell carcinoma and 19 cases of adenocarcinoma), 12 cases of small cell lung cancer. Forty-three (72.9%) lesions were located in the lower lobes and 41 (69.5%) lesions were located in the area of pulmonary interstitial fibrosis. According to CT morphological characteristics of lung cancer, nodular type (37 cases), inflammatory consolidation (12 cases) and intra-honeycomb type (10 cases) were identified. Conclusions: The chest CT features of patients with CTD-ILD are complex. New developed lung cancer is easily missed or misdiagnosed in the early stage. Pay attention to the special CT characteristics of CTD-ILD with lung cancer is helpful for early diagnosis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the effect of functional chewing training (FuCT) on masticatory function, the severity of tongue thrust, and the severity and frequency of drooling in children with cerebral palsy. METHODS A prospective study was performed for 48 children who were diagnosed with oral motor dysfunction from January 2019 to January 2020, and they were randomly divided into an FuCT group and an oral motor training group, with 24 children in each group. Both groups received FuCT or oral motor training for 12 weeks, and then they were evaluated in terms of the changes in the masticatory function, the severity of tongue thrust, and the severity and frequency of drooling. RESULTS There were no significant differences between the two groups in the masticatory function, the severity of tongue thrust, and the severity and frequency of drooling before treatment (P>0.05). After the 12-week training, the FuCT group showed significant improvements in the masticatory function and the severity of tongue thrust and drooling (P<0.05), but with no improvement in the frequency of drooling (P>0.05), while the oral motor training group had no improvements in the masticatory function, the severity of tongue thrust, and the severity and frequency of drooling (P>0.05). After the 12-week training, the FuCT group had more significantly improvements in the severity of tongue thrust and the severity and frequency of drooling than the oral motor training group (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS FuCT can effectively improve the masticatory function, the severity of tongue thrust, and the severity and frequency of drooling in children with cerebral palsy.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the incidence of coronary microvascular disease (CMVD) between patients with non-obstructive and obstructive coronary arteries. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 97 patients with angina pectoris, who underwent the absolute quantitative PET examination of myocardial perfusion and coronary anatomy examination within 90 days. All patients were divided into two groups: non-obstructive group (72 cases, no stenosis ≥50% in all three coronary arteries) and obstructive group (25 cases, at least one coronary stenosis ≥50%; and at least one coronary stenosis<50%). Quantitative parameters derived from PET including rest myocardial blood flow (RMBF), stress myocardial blood flow (SMBF), coronary flow reserve (CFR) and cardiovascular risk factors were compared between the two groups. CMVD was defined as CFR<2.90 and SMBF<2.17 ml·min(-1)·g(-1). Results: Incidence of CMVD was significant higher in the non-obstructive coronary arteries of the obstructive group than in the non-obstructive coronary arteries of non-obstructive group (47.1% (16/34) vs. 25.5% (55/216), χ(2)=6.738, P=0.009) while incidence of CMVD was similar between non-obstructive and obstructive patients ((44% (11/25) vs. 33.3% (24/72), χ(2)=0.915, P=0.339). RMBF ((0.83±0.14) ml·min(-1)·g(-1) vs. (0.82±0.17) ml·min(-1)·g(-1)), SMBF ((2.13±0.60) ml·min(-1)·g(-1) vs. (1.91±0.50) ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) and CFR (2.59±0.66 vs. 2.36±0.47) were similar between the two groups (all P>0.05). Conclusions: CMVD can occur in non-obstructive coronary arteries in both patients with non-occlusive coronary arteries and patients with obstructive coronary arteries. Prevalence of CMVD is significantly higher in patients with obstructive coronary arteries than in patients with non-obstructive coronary arteries. The CMVD severity is similar between the two groups.

Abstract
The functions and molecular mechanism of circRNAs in the development of radiation-induced liver disease (RILD) remain largely unknown. The goal of this study was to explore the expression and potential role of a new circular RNA, named circTUBD1, in irradiated and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated human hepatic stellate cell (HSC) line LX-2 cells. The expression of circTUBD1 was significantly upregulated in irradiated and LPS-stimulated LX-2 cells compared to non-treated LX-2 cells. To explore the functions of circTUBD1, small interfering RNAs targeting circTUBD1 were designed. Silencing circTUBD1 inhibited proliferation, promoted apoptosis of LX-2 cells, and significantly decreased the expression level of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α in irradiated and LPS-stimulated LX-2 cells. Mechanistic analysis suggested that circTUBD1 acted as the miR-146a-5p sponge to affect pro-inflammatory cytokine production through regulating expression of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), interleukin receptor-associated kinase 1 (IRAK1), tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor-6 (TRAF6), and phosphorylation of nuclear factor-kappa B (pNF-κB) in irradiated and LPS-stimulated LX-2 cells. To our knowledge, this is the first study to show that circTUBD1 acts as a miR-146a-5p sponge to affect the viability and pro-inflammatory cytokine production of LX-2 cells through the TLR4 pathway, suggesting that circTUBD1 is a potential target for RILD therapy.

Abstract
Background Regulatory T (Treg) cells are a major component of the microenvironment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) contributing to immunosuppression. The present study aimed to evaluate the effects of Treg cells on the invasion potential of HCC. Methods Infiltrating Treg cells were isolated from fresh HCC tissues by immunomagnetic bead separation and detected by flow cytometry. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were detected using the CellSearch platform. The cell migration and invasion potentials were evaluated by Transwell assays. The cell viability was tested by the cell counting kit-8 (CCK8) approach, and the apoptosis rates were determined by flow cytometry. The concentrations of active transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Infiltrating Treg cells significantly correlated with the number of CTCs and vascular invasion (both P<0.05). Moreover, these cells could greatly promote HCC migration, invasion, and proliferation, and inhibit HCC apoptosis. Polymerase chain reaction and Western blot assays revealed that Treg cells significantly decreased the expression levels of epithelium-related molecules and increased the expression levels of mesenchyme-related molecules. Treg cells could activate Smad2/3 via secreting TGFβ1, and these effects could be impaired by knocking down the expression of TGFβ1 in Treg cells. Conclusions The involvement of infiltrating Treg cells in triggering the TGFβ1 signaling pathway and promoting the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of cancer cells during tumor hematogenous dissemination is presumably responsible for increasing the invasiveness potential of HCC cells. Targeting Treg cells in microenvironments can be a promising therapeutic strategy to improve the prognosis for patients with HCC undergoing resection.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the value of computed tomography (CT) texture analysis in differential diagnosis of inflammatory and malignant pulmonary nodules. Methods: The image data of 54 patients with lung cancer and 36 patients with pulmonary inflammatory nodules were retrospectively collected in our hospital. All the patients received chest CT scan. CT texture analysis of entropy, correlation degree and contrast ratio were performed by the MaZda software. The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was established and the area under the curve (AUC) was calculated to evaluate the value of CT texture analysis in differential diagnosis of inflammatory and malignant pulmonary nodules. Results: In the lung cancer group, the value of entropy, correlation degree and contrast ratio were 1.58±0.07, 0.02±0.17 and 8.79±2.59, respectively. In the inflammatory nodules group, the value of entropy, correlation degree and contrast ratio were 1.51±0.04, 0.22±0.16 and 12.53±2.24, respectively. The differences were all statistically significant (P values were 0.008, 0.027, and 0.006, respectively) between two groups. There was not statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in the CT values between the lung cancer group and the inflammatory nodule group based on the non-contrast enhanced CT scan. Meanwhile, there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in the value of entropy, correlation degree or contrast ratio between two groups based on arterial phase or venous phase of contrast enhanced CT. The ROC analysis showed that the AUC in differentiating the lung cancer and inflammatory nodules was 0.821, 0.778 and 0.875, respectively. The AUC of combination of three phases was 0.931, which was higher than the AUC of entropy, correlation degree and contrast ratio respectively (P<0.01). The sensitivity was 88.9%, and the specificity was 87.5%. Conclusion: CT texture analysis is a high-potential image analysis method, which can provide more information for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary nodules.

Abstract
The combined and individual hydrological impacts of climate variation and urbanization have been extensively discussed over the past few decades, yet little is known about the relative impact of each. In this paper we took one of the most developed regions worldwide, Yangtze River Delta, as an example to analyse the long-term relative impacts of precipitation and urbanization change on water level alterations, based on precipitation, water level series, and annual impervious area data from 1960 to 2015. Abrupt changes detection in the water level series divided the data into the pre-impact period (1960-1988) and impacted period (1989-2015), and relative impacts of precipitation and urbanization on the water level increase from pre-impacted to impacted period, as well as their spatial and seasonal variations were estimated with the elasticity method. The results indicated that the urbanization change showed no distinct influence on the water level rise in the pre-impact period, while the precipitation played distinct roles only during summer months in the impacted period; the precipitation dominated two thirds of the water level rise in flood season, and in non-flood season the urbanization controlled the two thirds of the water level rise; spatially, the water level variations in old and new urban area were dominated by precipitation and urbanization process respectively; compared with precipitation amount, the water level correlated more strongly to the contribution ratio of precipitation. The results would provide a good reference for flood control and water resource management in the river basin, especially in the economically developed areas.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the influential factors of efficacy of the first (131)I ablation therapy for thyroid remnant in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) patients after thyroidectomy. Methods: Eighty-nine PTMC patients who underwent twice (131)I ablation therapy and (131)I whole body follow-up scan ((131)I-WBS) within 5 to 8 months in our department from September 2007 to October 2016 were identified and enrolled in present study. Patients were divided into complete-ablation group and uncomplete-ablation group according to whether or not radioactivity was detected at the thyroid bed in (131)I-WBS. The χ(2) test and multi-variance Binary logistic regression were performed for the factors which might affect the therapeutic efficacy. Results: The first (131)I ablation therapy was successful in 41 of 89 patients (46.07%). Residual thyroid weight was found to be associated with therapeutic efficacy (P<0.05), while gender, age, surgical method, lesions'maximum diameter, with or without LN metastasis, with or without distant metastasis, time of operation from first (131)I treatment, lesions'number, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), thyroglobulin (Tg), the consistency of (131)I-WBS and (99)Tc(m)-pertechnatate, TNM stage, ATA risk, Tg/TSH ratio were not significant associated with therapeutic efficacy. Binary logistic regression analysis was performed in these respects and it indicated that residual thyroid weight and ATA risk were not statistically significant independent variable (P>0.05). Conclusions: Residual thyroid weight might affect efficacy of the first (131)I ablation therapy on thyroid remnant in PTMC patients after thyroidectomy, but it is not an independent factor. Multiple interrelated factors should be considered when predicting the efficacy of the first (131)I ablation therapy.

Abstract
Locally advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated by radiotherapy (RT) may be suited for further treatment with surgery. As a critical mediator of the post-RT immune response, Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and its associated proteins may serve as prognostic factors for patients with HCC treated by post-RT surgery. In the present study, a total of 20 patients with HCC treated by post-RT surgery were enrolled. Resected tumor and peritumoral liver tissues were used to construct tissue microarrays that were assessed with immunohistochemical staining for the expression levels of TLR4, tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). The overall (OS) and disease-free (DFS) survival outcomes for each patient were assessed, and the severity of radiation-induced liver diseases (RILDs) was detected. The patients with low TLR4 or TRAIL expression exhibited significantly better OS times than those with high TLR4 (P=0.003) or TRAIL (P=0.007) expression, whereas the median DFS times for patients with low VEGFR2 or TRAIL were significantly longer than those with high VEGFR2 (P=0.003) or TRAIL (P=0.008) expression. No significant differences in OS or DFS times were identified according to the expression of TLR4, VEGFR2 or TRAIL in peritumoral liver tissue, although more severe RILDs were identified in patients with the high expression of these factors in the peritumoral liver tissue post-RT (P<0.05). Therefore, the expression levels of TLR4 and its associated proteins in HCC tumors may be suitable as prognostic factors for patients with HCC treated by post-RT surgery. The inhibition of TLR4, VEGFR2 and TRAIL expression in HCC and non-tumor liver tissue may lessen the severity of RILDs and improve survival outcomes in the future.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the influence of body mass index (BMI) and its change on the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in an adult cohort. Methods: A total of 3 043 subjects randomly selected among those without T2DM at baseline survey from the Rural Deqing Health Cohort Study were included into this study and follow up was conducted for 1 867 of them from July to November 2015. The subjects were divided into 3 groups according to their baseline BMI, normal group (BMI<24.0), overweight group (BMI: 24.0-27.9) and obese group (BMI≥28.0) and the subjects with stable weight (BMI change of-0.05 to + 0.05 per year) were used as the referent category. Cox proportional model was used to estimate associations between BMI, its changes and T2DM. Results: With an average of (8.68±1.25) person years, 213 new T2DM cases, including 125 females were detected, and incidence density was 13.14 per 1 000 person years. After adjusted for other covariates, the risk for incidence of T2DM was significantly higher in subjects with baseline BMI≥28.0 kg/m2 than those with baseline BMI<24.0 kg/m2 (aHR=2.12, 95% CI: 1.22-3.68), and weight gains were strongly associated with the incidence of T2DM in those with baseline BMI< 24.0 kg/m2 (aHR=2.21, 95%CI:1.17-4.17). Conclusion: Both BMI and its change were significantly associated with incidence of T2DM, especially in the population with BMI<24.0 kg/m2 at baseline.

Abstract
It has been shown that hematological traits can act as important indicators of immune function in both humans and livestock. T lymphocytes are key components of the adaptive immune system, playing a critical role in immune response. To identify genomic regions affecting hematological traits and T lymphocyte subpopulations, we performed both a SNP-based genomewide association study (GWAS) and a haplotype analysis for 20 hematological traits and 8 T cell subpopulations at 3 different time points (d 20, 33, and 35) in a Duroc × Erhualian F intercross population. Bonferroni correction was used to calculate the threshold -values for suggestive and 5% genomewide significance levels. In total, for SNP-based GWAS, we detected 96 significant SNP, including 15 genomewide-significant SNP, associated with 23 hematological traits and 234 significant SNP, including 27 genomewide-significant SNP, associated with 8 T cell subpopulations. Meanwhile, we identified 563 significant SNP, including 7 genomewide-significant SNP, associated with 5 hematological traits and 2,407 significant SNP, including 1,261 genomewide-significant SNP, associated with 8 T cell subpopulations by haplotype analysis. Among the significant regions detected, we propose both the () gene and the () gene on SSC3 as plausible candidate genes associated with CD/CD T lymphocytes at d 20. The findings provide insights into the basis of molecular mechanisms that are involved with immune response in the domestic pig and would aid further identification of causative mutations.

Abstract
PURPOSE Lower radiation tolerance of the whole liver hinders dose escalations of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treatment. This study was conducted to define the exact doses that result in radiation-induced liver disease (RILD) as well as to determine dose constraints for the critical organs at risk (OARs) in mice; these parameters are still undefined in HCC SBRT. METHODS This study consisted of two phases. In the primary phase, mice treated with helical tomotherapy-based SBRT were stratified according to escalating radiation doses to the livers. The pathological differences, signs [such as mouse performance status (MPS)], and serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST)/alanine aminotransferase (ALT)/albumin levels were observed. Radiation-induced disease severities of the OARs were scored using systematic evaluation standards. In the validation phase in humans, 13 patients with HCC who had undergone radiotherapy before hepatectomy were enrolled to validate RILD pathological changes in a mouse study. RESULTS The evaluation criteria of the mouse liver radiotherapy-related signs were as follows: MPS ≥ 2.0 ± 0.52, AST/ALT ≥ 589.2 ± 118.5/137.4 ± 15.3 U/L, serum albumin ≤ 16.8 ± 2.29 g/L. The preliminary dose constraints of the OARs were also obtained, such as those for the liver (average dose ≤ 26.36 ± 1.71 Gy) and gastrointestinal tract (maximum dose ≤ 22.63 Gy). Mouse RILD models were able to be developed when the livers were irradiated with average doses of ≥31.76 ± 1.94 Gy (single fraction). RILD pathological changes in mice have also been validated in HCC patients. CONCLUSIONS Mouse RILD models could be developed with SBRT based on the dose constraints for the OARs and evaluation criteria of mouse liver radiotherapy-related signs, and the authors' results favor the study of further approaches to treat HCC with SBRT.

Abstract
PURPOSE Positional plagiocephaly (PP) is the most common subtype of asymmetric deformity in the infant skull. Cumulative evidence has demonstrated that PP is associated with abnormal neuromotor development; however, neurological assessment scores of infants with PP have not been well established, and PP has not attracted sufficient attention in China. This study used a Chinese version of the Infant Neurological International Battery (INFANIB) to identify neurological abnormalities among infants with PP and to determine the differences between infants with different (mild, moderate, and severe) degrees of PP. METHODS We compared the neurological evaluation scores between 393 infants with different degrees of PP and 390 healthy infants from 0 to 18 months of age using a Chinese version of the INFANIB. RESULTS The infants with PP aged 0-7.9 months had lower scores on the spasticity, head and trunk, leg, and French angle subscales and lower total scores than the normal infants. Additionally, the infants with PP aged 9-18 months showed statistically significantly lower scores on the spasticity, head and trunk, vestibular function, leg, and French angle subscales and total scores than the normal infants. Among the PP subgroups, the infants with mild PP had the highest scores, followed by the infants with moderate PP and the infants with severe PP. Compared with the normal infants, the infants with PP had abnormal neurological assessment scores, and the degree of neurological abnormality was associated with the severity of PP. CONCLUSIONS The INFANIB revealed neurological abnormalities, including asymmetric movements and abnormal muscle tone, postures, and reflexes, in infants with PP, especially those with moderate or severe PP. These abnormalities were similar to those of infants with cerebral palsy. Therefore, PP may serve as a marker of neurodevelopmental risk and should receive considerable attention. Whether moderate or severe PP is related to cerebral palsy remains to be confirmed in long-term follow-up studies and other future studies.

Abstract
Independent of different concentrations and configurations of B dopants, all B-doped phosphorenes exhibit a robust indirect band gap, high anisotropy of optical absorption and enhanced stability of Li adsorption.

Abstract
The rapid development of electronic products has inspired scientists to design and explore novel electrode materials with an ultrahigh rate of charging/discharging capability, such as two-dimensional (2-D) nanostructures of graphene and MoS2. In this study, another 2-D nanosheet, that is a borophene layer, has been predicted to be utilized as a promising anode material for high-performance Li ion battery based on density functional theory calculations. Our study has revealed that Li atom can combine strongly with borophene surface strongly and easily, and exist as a pure Li(+) state. A rather small energy barrier (0.007 eV) of Li diffusion leads to an ultrahigh diffusivity along an uncorrugated direction of borophene, which is estimated to be 10(4) (10(5)) times faster than that on MoS2 (graphene) at room temperature. A high Li storage capacity of 1239 mA·h/g can be achieved when Li content reaches 0.5. A low average operating voltage of 0.466 V and metallic properties result in that the borophene can be used as a possible anode material. Moreover, the properties of Li adsorption and diffusion on the borophene affected by Ag (111) substrate have been studied. It has been found that the influence of Ag (111) substrate is very weak. Li atom can still bind on the borophene with a strong binding energy of -2.648 eV. A small energy barrier of 0.033 eV can be retained for Li diffusion along the uncorrugated direction, which can give rise to a high Li diffusivity. Besides, the performances of borophene-based Na ion battery have been explored. Our results suggest that an extremely high rate capability could be expected in borophene-based Li ion battery.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Both low tube voltage and sinogram-affirmed iterative reconstruction (IR) techniques hold promise to decrease radiation dose at coronary CT angiography (CCTA). The increased iodine contrast at low tube voltage allows for minimizing iodine load. OBJECTIVE To assess the effect of reduced x-ray tube voltage, low iodine concentration contrast medium and IR on image quality and radiation dose at CCTA. METHODS Two hundred thirty-one consecutive patients with suspected coronary artery disease were enrolled in this prospective, multicenter trial and randomized to 1 of 2 dual-source CCTA protocols: 120-kVp with 370 mgI/mL iopromide or iopamidol (n = 116; 44 women; 55.3 ± 9.8 years) or 100 kVp with 270 mgI/mL iodixanol (n = 115; 48 women; 54.2 ± 10.4 years). Reconstruction was performed with filtered back projection and IR. Attenuation, image noise, signal-to-noise ratio, and contrast-to-noise ratio were measured and image quality scored. Size-specific dose estimates and effective doses were calculated. RESULTS There were no significant differences in mean arterial attenuation (406.6 ± 76.7 vs 409.7 ± 65.2 Hounsfield units; P = .739), image noise (18.7 ± 3.8 vs 17.9 ± 3.4 Hounsfield units; P = .138), signal-to-noise ratio (22.5 ± 5.4 vs 23.7 ± 6.1; P = .126), contrast-to-noise ratio (17.5 ± 5.5 vs 18.3 ± 6.1; P = .286), or image quality scores (4.1 ± 0.9 vs 4.0 ± 0.9; P > .05) between 120-kVp filtered back projection-reconstructed and 100-kVp IR-reconstructed series. Mean iodine dose was 26.5% lower (18.3 ± 0.5 vs 24.9 ± 0.9 g; P < .0001), mean size-specific dose estimate was 35.1% lower (17.9 ± 6.6 vs 27.5 ± 8.2 mGy; P < .0001), and effective dose was 34.9% lower (2.3 ± 1.0 vs 3.5 ± 1.1 mSv; P < .0001) with the 100 kVp compared with the 120-kVp protocol, respectively. CONCLUSION Using low x-ray tube voltage and IR allows for decreasing the iodine load and effective radiation dose at CCTA while maintaining image quality.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish the Chinese Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory (PEDI) norms in Chongqing, China. METHODS PEDI (English version) was translated into Chinese and proof read by back-translation. A total of 1 140 children stratified by age were randomly selected from Chongqing and evaluated by the Chinese version of the PEDI. The obtained data were statistically analyzed. RESULTS Of 1 140 questionnaires, 1 075 (94.3%) were valid. The data showed that the raw and scale scores of PEDI increased with age, but the standard scores did not increase with age. The raw, scale, and standard scores on self-care and social function scales were significantly lower than American PEDI norms in some age periods (P<0.05), but the raw, scale, and standard scores on mobility scale were not significantly different from American norms (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS The PEDI norms in Chongqing have been successfully established, and can be used to assess the daily function in children, judge the degree of daily function impairment, evaluate the effect of rehabilitation training, and make the rehabilitation plan for disabled children.

Abstract
Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is an important commercial crop that is planted in 60,000 to 70,000 ha every year in Shandong Province, China. In 2010, rotted rhizomes of cultivar Laiwu Big Ginger were reported on 20 ha in Anqiu, Shandong Province, and yield losses of up to 70% were reported. The aboveground symptoms were the water-conducting portion of symptomatic rhizomes was discolored brown and had a black dry rot of the cortex tissues (3). Thirty symptomatic rhizomes were sampled from six fields in six farms. Komada's method (1) was used to isolate the pathogen. Ten pieces from each rhizome were washed with sterile distilled water and plated on Komada selective medium at 25°C. White fungal colonies turned orchid after 7 days of incubation. Two types of asexual spores were associated with the colonies: microconidia and macroconidia. The microconidia were the most abundantly produced spores and were oval, elliptical or kidney shaped, and produced on aerial mycelia. Macroconidia had three to five cells and gradually pointed or curved edges, varied in size from 3 to 5 × 19 to 36 μm. The rDNA of the internal transcribed spacer regions 1 and 2 and the 5.8S gene in five isolates were amplified using primers ITS1 and ITS4, and the nucleotide sequence was the same as isolate no. 3, which was deposited in GenBank (Accession No. KC594035). A BLAST search showed 99% identity with the strain Z9 of Fusarium oxysporum (EF611088). Pathogenicity tests of five isolates were carried out in a greenhouse and the pathogenicity test of isolate no. 3 was selected for the method description. Ten 1-month-old ginger plants (cv. Laiwu Big Ginger) were grown in plastic pots (diameter 20 cm) with sandy soil and inoculated. Ten plants were used as untreated controls. Isolate no. 3 was grown on casein hydrolysate medium (4) for 72 h and the spores were harvested in sterile distilled water. Aqueous spore suspensions of isolate no. 3 were adjusted with deionized water to 1 × 108 CFU/ml as the inoculum. The prepared inoculum was injected with a syringe into the soil around the rhizome of ginger plants. Inoculated plants were placed in the greenhouse at 24 to 26°C and assessed for rhizome rot on the 14th day after inoculation. Disease severity was recorded based on a scale in which - = no symptoms; 1 = small lesions on seedlings, no rot; 2 = seedling rot; and 3 = plant dead. Similar rhizome rot symptoms were observed after inoculation. The inoculated isolate was re-isolated from diseased rhizomes, confirming its pathogenicity. To our knowledge, this is the first report of rhizome rot of ginger caused by F. oxysporum in China. Rhizome rot of ginger caused by Fusarium spp. is well known in Asian countries such as India (2). Abstract
In this paper, the design and operation of the Northeast Normal University Laboratory Goniospectrometer System for performing multi-angular reflected and polarized measurements under controlled illumination conditions is described. A semi-automatic arm, which is carried on a rotated circular ring, enables the acquisition of a large number of measurements of surface Bidirectional Reflectance Factor (BRF) over the full hemisphere. In addition, a set of polarizing optics enables the linear polarization over the spectrum from 350 nm to 2300 nm. Because of the stable measurement condition in the laboratory, the BRF and linear polarization has an average uncertainty of 1% and less than 5% depending on the sample property, respectively. The polarimetric accuracy of the instrument is below 0.01 in the form of the absolute value of degree of linear polarization, which is established by measuring a Spectralon plane. This paper also presents the reflectance and polarization of snow, soil, sand, and ice measured during 2010-2013 in order to illustrate its stability and accuracy. These measurement results are useful to understand the scattering property of natural surfaces on Earth.
