Abstract
Objective: To investigate the association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia among older adults in nine longevity areas of China. Methods: A total of 1 896 subjects aged 65 years and above who participated in the Healthy Aging and Biomarkers Cohort Study (HABCS) in 2017-2018 were included. A self-made questionnaire was used to collect demographic characteristics, lifestyle and other information from the subjects. Through physical examination, data including height, weight and blood pressure were determined and body mass index (BMI) was calculated. Blood and urine samples were collected for the detection of hemoglobin (Hb), blood glucose, blood lipids, plasma vitamin B12 and urinary arsenic concentrations. The urinary arsenic levels were divided into four groups according to the quartiles of urinary arsenic concentrations (μg/g creatinine): Q1 (<18.7), Q2 (18.7-34.5), Q3 (34.6-69.5) and Q4(≥69.6). Multivariate logistic regression model and restricted cubic spline fitting logistic regression model were used to analyze the association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia. Results: The age of the 1 896 subjects (M (Q1, Q3)) was 83 (74, 92) years, including 952 females (50.21%), and the concentration of Hb (M (Q1, Q3)) was 135 (124, 147)g/L. The prevalence of anemia was 24.89% (472 cases). The geometric mean and M (Q1, Q3) of urinary arsenic concentrations were 37.5 and 34.6 (18.7, 69.6)μg/g creatinine, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression model analysis showed that after adjusting for age, gender, BMI, education level, smoking and drinking status, residence, economic level, ethnicity, the status of vitamin B12 deficiency, consumption frequency of aquatic products and meat, the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidemia, urinary arsenic levels were positively associated with anemia (Taking group Q1 as a reference, OR (95%CI) values in Q2, Q3 and Q4 groups were 1.73 (1.20-2.50), 2.08 (1.43-3.02) and 1.52 (1.02-2.28), respectively). The results of restricted cubic spline fitting logistic regression analysis showed a non-linear association between urinary arsenic concentrations and anemia (P<0.001). Subgroup analysis showed there was a negative multiplicative interaction between the prevalence of chronic diseases and urinary arsenic levels with OR (95%CI) was 0.55 (0.30-0.99), while no multiplicative interaction was found between age, gender, residence, smoking status, drinking status and urinary arsenic levels (P>0.05). There was a positive association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia in participants who were absence of chronic diseases, male, living in rural, smoking and drinking with OR (95%CI) values of 3.62 (1.30-10.06),2.46 (1.34-4.52), 1.70 (1.03-2.80), 2.21 (1.01-4.82) and 2.79 (1.23-6.33), respectively. Conclusion: There is a positive association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia among older adults in nine longevity areas of China.

Abstract
In recent years, great progress has been made in research on the treatment of pulpitis, mainly due to the rapid development of basic and clinical researches in this field, and some achievement from basic research has been applied in clinical practice. Advances in the diagnostic methods for pulpitis can help the clinicians to recognize the true state of pulpitis more accurately and to adopt the corresponding treatment methods including indirect/direct pulp capping, pulpotomy, pulp regeneration and root canal therapy. The new theory of pulpitis diagnosis and the studies on immune defense, repair function of dental pulp and new pulp capping materials have significantly improved the success rate of vital pulp therapy. For diffuse coronary pulpitis or radicular pulpitis, which is difficult to achieve vital pulp therapy successfully, methods of pulp revascularization, cell homing and pulp stem cells-mediated pulp regeneration can also be used as treatment options in addition to root canal therapy. The present article focuses on the research progress on pulpitis treatments and related clinical transformation practices, in order to provide reference on vital pulp therapy and pulp regeneration for clinicians.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has rapidly become a global pandemic. Age is an independent factor in death from the disease, and predictive models to stratify patients according to their mortality risk are needed. AIM To compare the laboratory parameters of the younger (≤70) and the elderly (>70) groups, and develop death prediction models for the two groups according to age stratification. DESIGN A retrospective, single-center observational study. METHODS This study included 437 hospitalized patients with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 from Tongji Hospital in Wuhan, China, 2020. Epidemiological information, laboratory data and outcomes were extracted from electronic medical records and compared between elderly patients and younger patients. First, recursive feature elimination (RFE) was used to select the optimal subset. Then, two random forest (RF) algorithms models were built to predict the prognoses of COVID-19 patients and identify the optimal diagnostic predictors for patients' clinical prognoses. RESULTS Comparisons of the laboratory data of the two age groups revealed many different laboratory indicators. RFE was used to select the optimal subset for analysis, from which 11 variables were screened out for the two groups. The RF algorithm were built to predict the prognoses of COVID-19 patients based on the best subset, and the area under ROC curve (AUC) of the two groups is 0.874 (95% CI: 0.833-0.915) and 0.842 (95% CI: 0.765-0.920). CONCLUSION Two prediction models for COVID-19 were developed in the patients with COVID-19 based on random forest algorithm, which provides a simple tool for the early prediction of COVID-19 mortality.

Abstract
BACKGROUND More indications proved that diet might be involved in the telomere length, a marker of biological aging and chronic diseases. Copper is widely viewed as one of the essential elements in the diet. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the relationship between telomere length and dietary copper intake in hypertension and provide a basis for guiding dietary copper intake in patients with hypertension. METHODS The data was collected from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) in 1999-2000 and 2001-2002. The relevance between telomere length and dietary copper intake in hypertension is assessed using a multivariable linear regression model. RESULTS We gathered 1,867 participants with hypertension with assessed telomere length and dietary copper intake. We found that one unit increasing log-transformed dietary copper intake in hypertension was significantly associated with longer telomere length base pair (bp) (β = 112.20, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 5.48, 218.92), after controlling for covariates, including age, sex, ethnicity, body mass index (BMI), physical activity, and taking medication for hypertension. For the age group, we found that one unit increasing log-transformed dietary copper in hypertension was associated with longer telomere length (β = 237.95, 95% CI: 114.39, 361.51) in the age group >45 years. The grouping was based on whether the participants take medication for hypertension. We found that one unit increasing log-transformed dietary copper in hypertension was associated with longer telomere length (β = 116.47, 95% CI: 0.72, 232.21) in the group that takes medication for hypertension. CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates that dietary copper intake was associated with longer telomere length in patients with hypertension, which provides evidence for guiding dietary copper intake in patients with hypertension. However, further studies are needed to evaluate the effect of copper supplementation on telomere length in patients with hypertension in well-designed random control studies and prospective studies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To understand the real prevalence of Clonorchis sinensis infections in the freshwater fish in mainland China, so as to provide insights into clonorchiasis control and detection of freshwater fish. METHODS All literatures reporting the prevalence of C. sinensis infections in the freshwater fish, the second intermediate host of the parasite, were jointly retrieved in Chinese and English electronic databases from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2020, including Wanfang Data, CNKI, PubMed, Web of Science, Embase and Cochrane Library. All studies were screened based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the quality of all enrolled literatures was evaluated. The pooled prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish and its 95% confidence interval (CI) were estimated using the software Stata version 15.0, and subgroup analyses were performed to investigate the region-, season- and sample source-specific pooled prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish. In addition, the sensitivity and publication bias of all included studies were analyzed. RESULTS A total of 40 eligible literatures were included in this study, including 37 Chinese literatures and 3 English literatures, and there were 10 high-quality literatures, 27 moderate-quality literatures and 3 low-quality literatures. A total of 53 species containing 37 959 freshwater fish were reported in these 40 studies, and 73.58% (39/53) of freshwater fish species were identified with C. sinensis infections. Meta-analysis showed 23.5% [95% CI: (0.19, 0.28)] pooled prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish in mainland China, and subgroup analyses higher prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish in northeastern China [35.7%, 95% CI: (0.22, 0.50)] than in central [25.9%, 95% CI: (0.04, 0.48)] and southern China [20.6%, 95% CI: (0.09, 0.32)], higher prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish sampled in spring [44.1%, 95% CI: (0.35, 0.53)] than in autumn [6.7%, 95% CI: (0.05, 0.08)] and summer [3.3%, 95% CI: (-0.01, 0.07)], and higher prevalence of C. sinensis infections in freshwater fish sampled from natural water [25.2%, 95% CI: (0.17, 0.33)] than from retail trades [22.2%, 95% CI: (0.17, 0.28)] and breeding chain [12.3%, 95% CI: (0.03, 0.22)]. However, all included studies had a publication bias with a low sensitivity. CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of C. sinensis infections is high in freshwater fish in mainland China, and there are still challenges for clonorchiasis control. Reinforcement of health education, diagnostics development and food safety supervision is recommended in future clonorchiasis control programs.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the adverse childhood experience (ACE) effects on the risk of chronic diseases among middle-aged and elderly. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted using the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study data. We used life history study data in 2014 as baseline data and data of chronic diseases of middle-aged and elderly in 2015 as outcomes. A zero-inflated negative-binominal model was used to estimate the incidence rate ratio (IRR) for the association between ACE and chronic diseases. Results: Compared with the less than 4 points of ACE exposure in childhood, individuals with ACE exposure 4-, 6- and ≥9 were associated an increased risk of chronic disease, adjusted IRR (95%CI), 1.10(1.04-1.16), 1.18 (1.13-1.25), 1.34 (1.27-1.42), respectively, with a significant dose-response relationship that chronic diseases risks increase parallel with the increase of ACE exposure. Conclusions: ACE might serve as one of the critical risk factors of chronic diseases in middle-aged elderly. It's of public health significance for early screening and intervention of ACE, reducing the incidence of chronic diseases, and improving middle-aged and older adults' quality of life and health.

Abstract
We previously reported that recombinant Newcastle disease virus LaSota (rLS) expressing infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) Arkansas (Ark)-type trimeric spike (S) ectodomain (Se; rLS/ArkSe) provides suboptimal protection against IBV challenge. We have now developed rLS expressing chicken granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GMCSF) and IBV Ark Se in an attempt to enhance vaccine effectiveness. In the current study, we first compared protection conferred by vaccination with rLS/ArkSe and rLS/ArkSe.GMCSF. Vaccinated chickens were challenged with virulent Ark, and protection was determined by clinical signs, viral load, and tracheal histomorphometry. Results showed that coexpression of GMCSF and the Se from rLS significantly reduced tracheal viral load and tracheal lesions compared with chickens vaccinated with rLS/ArkSe. In a second experiment, we evaluated enhancement of cross-protection of a Massachusetts (Mass) attenuated vaccine by priming or boosting with rLS/ArkSe.GMCSF. Vaccinated chickens were challenged with Ark, and protection was evaluated. Results show that priming or boosting with the recombinant virus significantly increased cross-protection conferred by Mass against Ark virulent challenge. Greater reductions of viral loads in both trachea and lachrymal fluids were observed in chickens primed with rLS/ArkSe.GMCSF and boosted with Mass. Consistently, Ark Se antibody levels measured with recombinant Ark Se protein-coated ELISA plates 14 days after boost were significantly higher in these chickens. Unexpectedly, the inverse vaccination scheme, that is, priming with Mass and boosting with the recombinant vaccine, proved somewhat less effective. We concluded that a prime and boost strategy by using rLS/ArkSe.GMCSF and the worldwide ubiquitous Mass attenuated vaccine provides enhanced cross-protection. Thus, rLS/GMCSF coexpressing the Se of regionally relevant IBV serotypes could be used in combination with live Mass to protect against regionally circulating IBV variant strains.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the population dynamics and Echinococcus infections in small rodents around human settlement in Yushu City, Qinghai Province. METHODS Rodents were captured using the mouse trap method in pastures from Batang Township and Longbao Township of Yushu City, Qinghai Province on May, August and October, 2018. The body weight and snout-vent length of all captured rodents were measured, and the species was identified according to the rodent morphology. Genomic DNA was extracted from rodent liver specimens and lesion specimens, and the mitochondrial cox1 gene of Echinococcus was amplified using PCR assay for identification of parasite species. In addition, the tissue specimens positive for PCR assay were sampled for pathological examinations. The prevalence of Echinococcus infections was estimated in rodents, and a phylogenetic tree was created based on Echinococcus cox1 gene sequences. RESULTS A total of 285 small rodents were captured, including 143 Ochotona curzoniae (50.2%), 141 Lasiopodomys fuscus (49.5%), and 1 Neodon irene (0.3%), and there was a remarkable variation in habitat selection among these three rodent species. The number of L. fuscus correlated positively with vegetation coverage (r = 0.350, P = 0.264), with the greatest number seen in August, and the number of O. curzoniae negatively with vegetation coverage (r = -0.371, P = 0.235), with the highest number seen in August and the lowest number in May. The female/male ratios of O. curzoniae and voles were 1:0.96 and 0.82:1, respectively. The body weight (r = 0.519, P < 0.01) and snout-vent length (r = 0.578, P < 0.01) of O. curzoniae showed a tendency towards a rise with month, while the body weight (r = -0.401, P < 0.01) and snout-vent length (r = -0.570, P < 0.01) of voles presented a tendency towards a reduction with month. No Echinococcus infection was detected in voles, while 2.1% prevalence of E. shiquicus infection was seen in O. curzoniae. Phylogenetic analysis revealed consistent sequences of cox1 gene from E. shiquicus in Yushu City of Qinghai Province and Shiqu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. CONCLUSIONS The small rodents around the human settlement in Yushu City of Qinghai Province mainly include O. curzoniae and L. fuscus, with the greatest numbers seen in May and August, respectively. Following the concerted efforts for echinococcosis control, the prevalence of Echinococcus infections is low in small rodents around the human settlement in Yushu City; however, there is still a risk of echinococcosis transmission.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ultra-low-dose estradiol plus dydrogesterone for vasomotor symptoms in postmenopausal women in China (trial registration CTR20160689). METHODS A total of 332 patients were randomized to continuous combined estradiol 0.5 mg + dydrogesterone 2.5 mg or placebo for 12 weeks. The primary efficacy endpoint was change in the number of hot flushes per day from baseline to end of treatment. Secondary efficacy endpoints included change in the number of moderate-to-severe hot flushes per day, menopausal symptoms from baseline and quality of life. RESULTS Between baseline and end of treatment, change in the mean number of hot flushes per day was -5.9 (95% confidence interval [CI] - 6.6, -5.2) with estradiol + dydrogesterone and -4.5 (95% CI -5.1, -3.8) with placebo, with a mean difference of -1.4 hot flushes per day (95% CI -2.2, -0.7; p < 0.001). Significant differences in favor of estradiol + dydrogesterone were also observed in several secondary efficacy endpoints. The study treatment was well tolerated. CONCLUSION Continuous combined estradiol 0.5 mg + dydrogesterone 2.5 mg reduced hot flushes in postmenopausal women in China. This ultra-low-dose regimen provides an additional option for women experiencing the vasomotor symptoms of menopause. These data are consistent with previous results in other populations.

Abstract
Canna indica is a common ornamental plant with asymmetric flowers having colourful petaloid staminodes. The only fertile stamen comprises a one-theca anther and a petaloid appendage and represents the lowest stamen number in the order Zingiberales. The molecular mechanism for the asymmetric androecial petaloidy remains poorly understood. Here, we studied the identity specification in Canna stamen. We observed four types of abnormal flower in terms of androecium identity transformation and analysed the corresponding floral symmetry changes. We further tested the expression patterns of B- and C-class MADS-box genes using in situ hybridization in normal Canna stamen. Homeotic conversions in the androecium were accompanied by floral symmetry changes, and the asymmetric stamen is key in contributing to the floral asymmetry. Both B- and C-class genes exhibited higher expression levels in the anther primordium than in other androecial parts. This asymmetric expression pattern precisely corresponded to the asymmetric identities of the Canna androecium. We identified C. indica as a model species for studying androecial organ identity and floral symmetry synthetically in Zingiberales. We hypothesized that homeotic genes specify floral organ identity in a putative dose-dependent manner. The results add to the current understanding of organ identity-related floral symmetry.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) was frequently abnormally expressed in cancers. LINC00641 was reported to play crucial roles in regulating tumor progression. However, its role in prostate cancer (PCa) has not been fully explored. PATIENTS AND METHODS In this work, proliferation, invasion and apoptosis assays were performed to detect the biological roles of LINC00641 in PCa. Bioinformatic analyses, Luciferase activity reporter assay, and rescue experiments were performed to investigate the potential mechanisms of LINC00641 in PCa. Expression levels of LINC00641, microRNA-365a-3p (miR-365a-3p), and vestigial like family member 4 (VGLL4) in PCa tissues and normal tissues were analyzed at ENCORI. RESULTS We found LINC00641 and VGLL4 was reduced, while miR-365a-3p was elevated expression in PCa tissues compared with normal tissues. LINC00641 overexpression inhibited growth and invasion abilities of PCa cells in vitro. Functional assays revealed that miR-365a-3p/VGLL4 pair was the downstream targets of LINC00641. CONCLUSIONS The findings of our work provided evidence that LINC00641 serves as a tumor suppressive lncRNA in PCa by regulating miR-365a-3p/VGLL4 axis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic effect of rCsHscB derived from Clonorchis sinensis on dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced chronic ulcerative colitis in mice. OBJECTIVE C57BL/6 mice were randomized into negative control (NC) group (n= 10), rCsHscB group (n=10), DSS group (n=15), and DSS+rCsHscB group (n=15), and in the latter two groups, chronic ulcerative colitis was induced in the mice using 2% DSS. In rCsHscB and DSS+ rCsHscB groups, the mice received intraperitoneal injections of 125 μg/mL rCsHscB on the 4th and 7th day following DSS administration, and PBS was injected in the other two groups. The mice were euthanized on the 84th day, and pathological changes of the colon were evaluated by HE and Masson staining. The levels of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the peripheral blood and lamina propria gastric lymphocytes (LPL) were analyzed by flow cytometer; the levels of IL-6, MCP-1 and IL-10 in colon homogenate were determined using ELISA, and the phosphorylation of ERK1/2, JNK and P38 was detected with Western blotting. OBJECTIVE Compared with those in NC group, the mice in rCsHscB group exhibited no adverse responses to the treatment. The mice in DSS group had severe pathologies in the colon with significantly increased ratios of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ T cells in peripheral blood and LPL, increased levels of IL-6 and MCP-1 but no obvious changes in IL-10 in colon homogenate, and significantly augmented phosphorylation levels of ERK1/2, JNK and P38. Compared with those in DSS group, the mice in DSS+ rCsHscB group showed ameliorated colon pathologies with decreased CD4+T/CD8+T cell ratio in the peripheral blood and LPL, significantly decreased IL-6 and MCP-1 levels and increased IL-10 in colon homogenate, and lowered phosphorylation levels of ERK1/2, JNK and P38. OBJECTIVE rCsHscB can produce therapeutic effect on DSS-induced chronic ulcerative colitis in mice possibly by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory factors and regulating the balance of CD4+/CD8+T cells through the MAPK pathway.

Abstract
Background:Systemic sclerosis (scleroderma, SSc) is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation, fibrosis and vasculopathy and associated with high mortality and high morbidity1. Stratification based on whole-genome gene expression data could provide a new basis for clinical diagnosis from a micro perspective2.Objectives:The objective of this study is to stratify patients with SSc, combine with clinical skin scores and clinical features, and provide a preliminary assessment and novel insights for assessing disease severity, and treatment design. Methods:The original data mRNA expression profiles of GSE95065 (including 18 SSc patients and 4 healthy controls) and GSE130955 (including 58 SSc patients and 33 healthy controls) were downloaded from the public Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. After batch correction, background adjustment, and other pre-processing, a large gene matrix was obtained to identify the differently expressed genes (DEGs) of SSc compared with healthy controls. Then the gene expression matrix decomposition was used to identify SSc subtypes by NMF algorithm. The cluster-based signature genes were applied to pathway enrichment analysis by Metascape3. Immune infiltrating cells and clinical skin scores were evaluated in all SSc subtypes. Results:Total 325 DEGs were imputed to NMF unsupervised machine learning algorithm. Patients were divided into 2 subtypes (Figure 1A), one of which (sub1) was mostly enriched in the defense response to bacterium and cellular response to lipopolysaccharide pathway and another subtype (sub2) was enriched in the PPAR signaling and alcohol metabolic process pathway (Figure 1B-C). According to immune infiltration, sub1 had higher level of immune cells such as B cells, CD4+T cells, DC cells, Th2 cells and Tregs compared with sub2 (P < 0.01). Sub2 had more skin-related cells, including Epithelial cells, Fibroblasts and Sebocytes (P < 0.05). Interestingly, combined with clinical information, sub1 showed a severe clinical skin score over those of Sub2 patients (P < 0.05)(Figure 1D-E).Conclusion:Our findings indicated that SSc patients could be stratified into 2 subtypes which had different molecular profiles of disease progression and clinical disease activities. This result could serve as a template for future studies to design stratified approaches for SSc patients.References:[1]Xu X, Ramanujam M, Visvanathan S, et al. Abstract
Background:Dermatomyositis (DM) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease characterized by inflammatory infiltrates in the skin and muscle1. The genes and pathways in the inflamed myopathies in patients with DM are poorly understood2.Objectives:To identify the key genes and pathways associated with DM and further discover its pathogenesis. Methods:Muscle tissue gene expression profile (GSE143323) were acquired from the GEO database, which included 39 DM samples and 20 normal samples. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in DM muscle tissue were screened by adopting the R software. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genome (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis was performed by Metascape online analysis tool. A protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was then constructed by STRING software using the genes in significantly different pathways. Network of DEGs was analyzed by Cytoscape software. And degree of nodes was used to screen key genes. Results:Totally, 126 DEGs were obtained, which contained 122 up-regulated and 4 down-regulated. GO analysis revealed that most of the DEGs were significantly enriched in type I interferon signaling pathway, response to interferon-gamma, collagen-containing extracellular matrix, response to interferon-alpha and bacterium, positive regulation of cell death, leukocyte chemotaxis. KEGG pathway analysis showed that upregulated DEGs enhanced pathways associated with the hepatitis C, complement and coagulation cascades, p53 signaling pathway, RIG-I-like receptor signaling, Osteoclast differentiation, and AGE-RAGE signaling pathway. Ten hub genes were identified in DM, they were ISG15, IRF7, STAT1, MX1, OASL, OAS2, OAS1, OAS3, GBP1, and IRF9 according to the Cytoscape software and cytoHubba plugin. Conclusion:The findings from this bioinformatics network analysis study identified the key hub genes that might provide new molecular markers for its diagnosis and treatment.References:[1]Olazagasti JM, Niewold TB, Reed AM. Abstract
Background:Psoriasis is an immune-mediated, genetic disease manifesting in the skin or joints or both, and also has a strong genetic predisposition and autoimmune pathogenic traits1. The hallmark of psoriasis is sustained inflammation that leads to uncontrolled keratinocyte proliferation and dysfunctional differentiation. And it’s also a chronic relapsing disease, which often necessitates a long-term therapy2.Objectives:To investigate the molecular mechanisms of psoriasis and find the potential gene targets for diagnosis and treating psoriasis. Methods:Total 334 gene expression data of patients with psoriasis research (GSE13355 GSE14905 and GSE30999) were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. After data preprocessing and screening of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) by R software. Online toll Metascape3 was used to analyze Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis of DEGs. Interactions of proteins encoded by DEGs were discovered by Protein-protein interaction network (PPI) using STRING online software. Cytoscape software was utilized to visualize PPI and the degree of each DEGs was obtained by analyzing the topological structure of the PPI network. Results:A total of 611 DEGs were found to be differentially expressed in psoriasis. GO analysis revealed that up-regulated DEGs were mostly associated with defense and response to external stimulus while down-regulated DEGs were mostly associated with metabolism and synthesis of lipids. KEGG enrichment analysis suggested they were mainly enriched in IL-17 signaling, Toll-like receptor signaling and PPAR signaling pathways, Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction and lipid metabolism.
