Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to explore the correlations of Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) risk and neonatal prognosis. MATERIAL AND METHODS First, the blood samples from sixty GDM patients and 60 healthy pregnant women were collected to detect the change of Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis by using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). The clinical characteristics of GDM patients, healthy controls, and neonates were recorded. Then, the correlation analysis of Lnc-UCA1, miR-138, and Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis levels with clinicopathological characteristics was performed to explore the clinical value of Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis in GDM. Finally, the specificity and sensitivity of Lnc-UCA1, miR-138, and Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis for GDM diagnosis was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. RESULTS Our present study found that, when compared with healthy pregnancies, the expression levels of Lnc-UCA1 and miR-138 were increased and decreased, respectively, and Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis profile was elevated. Second, Lnc-UCA1 and Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis were positively correlated with fasting glucose, one-hour glucose, and two-hour glucose, while miR-138 showed the opposite trend. Furthermore, the area under the ROC curve (AUC) were 0.8196, 0.8021, and 0.8901 for diagnostic efficiencies of Lnc-UCA1, miR-138, and Lnc-UCA1/miR-138, respectively. In addition, higher profiles of Lnc-UCA1 were correlated with birth asphyxia of neonate. CONCLUSIONS Circulating Lnc-UCA1/miR-138 axis might be involved in the pathogenesis of GDM and could function as a novel and effective biomarker for GDM risk and neonatal prognosis.

Abstract
ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE Xie Bai San is a Chinese medicine prescription that has been used to treat lung cancer in China for a long time. It has been proven to alleviate the symptoms and extend the survival time of lung cancer patients. Xie Bai San comprises Cortex Lycii, Cortex Mori, and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata. The effects and mechanisms of Cortex Mori and Glycyrrhizae on lung cancer have been reported, whereas the underlying mechanism of Cortex Lycii remains unknown. MATERIAL AND METHODS Network pharmacology was used to explore the unknown mechanisms underlying the effect of Cortex Lycii on lung cancer. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding of a compound to the protein. The fingerprint of Cortex Lycii was obtained by HPLC. Cell counting Kit-8 assay was used to determine the appropriate concentration of Cortex Lycii extract for human lung adenocarcinoma cells, A549 and H1299. Wound healing assay and Matrigel invasion assay were used to detect the influence of Cortex Lycii extract on the migration and invasion ability of A549 and H1299. The protein expression level was detected by western blot and immunohistochemical staining. RESULTS Using network pharmacology, 38 components of Cortex Lycii and 79 possible lung cancer-related target genes of Cortex Lycii were obtained. The targets were assigned to 35 Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways and the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway contained the most targets and had the second-lowest P-value. The molecular docking showed the components of Cortex Lycii bound to HSP90AB1. Among them, 6 components bound to HSP90AB1 in which HSP90AB1 binds to and phosphorylates AKT. The functional experiments showed that Cortex Lycii suppressed the migration and invasion of human lung cancer cells in a dose-dependent manner. Cortex Lycii up-regulated E-Cadherin and down-regulated N-Cadherin, Vimentin, and MMP2. Furthermore, Cortex Lycii made no change in the total AKT and mTOR protein levels, but caused the down-regulation of p-AKT and p-mTOR in human lung cancer cells, which was reversed by Terazosin, an agonist of HSP90. Moreover, acacetin and apigenin, two components of Cortex Lycii, reduced the protein level of p-AKT and p-mTOR, and the reduction was also inhibited by Terazosin. CONCLUSION Cortex Lycii suppressed epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in lung cancer cells through the PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway, possibly by targeting HSP90AB1 and inhibiting HSP90AB1-AKT binding.

Abstract
Ectropis oblique is one of the main pests that feed on tea leaves. At present, the main control method is chemical control, but the long-term use of insecticides has been related to the development of insect resistance. One of the resistance mechanisms is the upregulation of relevant detoxification enzymes for defense. In this study, four genes with increased expression were screened from the gene sequences annotated from the transcriptome data of deltamethrin-treated larvae of E. oblique, which are acid phosphatase EoACP138, and cytochrome P450 EoCYP316, carboxylesterase EoCarE592 and acetylcholine esterase EoAchE989, respectively. The fourth instar larvae of E. oblique were stimulated by deltamethrin, chlorpyrifos and fenpropathrin respectively, and the expression levels of the genes were detected by qRT-PCR. The result showed that all four genes’ expression had significantly increased under the stimulation of three insecticides. RNAi technology was used to silence the expression of genes of EoACP138, EoCYP316, EoCarE592 and EoAchE989 in the fourth instar larvae of E. oblique. The change in the expression levels of the above genes in the larvae treated with dsRNA and stimulated with pesticides was determined by qRT-PCR. The target genes have been effectively silenced after feeding on dsRNA and higher sensitivity with higher mortality to pesticides was observed in the larvae interfered with dsRNA. The above genes are related to the detoxification and metabolism of resistance of E. oblique, which lays a foundation for further study on the mechanism of insecticide resistance in E. oblique.

Abstract
Quantum chromodynamics, the theory of the strong force, describes interactions of coloured quarks and gluons and the formation of hadronic matter. Conventional hadronic matter consists of baryons and mesons made of three quarks and quark-antiquark pairs, respectively. Particles with an alternative quark content are known as exotic states. Here a study is reported of an exotic narrow state in the D0D0π+ mass spectrum just below the D*+D0 mass threshold produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The state is consistent with the ground isoscalar [Formula: see text] tetraquark with a quark content of [Formula: see text] and spin-parity quantum numbers JP = 1+. Study of the DD mass spectra disfavours interpretation of the resonance as the isovector state. The decay structure via intermediate off-shell D*+ mesons is consistent with the observed D0π+ mass distribution. To analyse the mass of the resonance and its coupling to the D*D system, a dedicated model is developed under the assumption of an isoscalar axial-vector [Formula: see text] state decaying to the D*D channel. Using this model, resonance parameters including the pole position, scattering length, effective range and compositeness are determined to reveal important information about the nature of the [Formula: see text] state. In addition, an unexpected dependence of the production rate on track multiplicity is observed.

Abstract
Actinidia arguta, commonly called hardy kiwifruit or kiwiberry, is a perennial vine of Actinidiaceae Actinidia genus. Understanding the main pathogens that cause the fruit rot of A. arguta during storage is of great significance for finding strategies to prevent fruit rot. In September 2020, the A. arguta (Sieb.et Zucc.) Planch. ex Miq. LD133 was harvested from a farm in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China (40°31'N, 124°20'E). After being stored at room temperature for about a week, the fruit rotted (no mechanical damage or wound). Initial symptoms were localized irregular spots, which then became soft and the spots connected into large, flaky, light brown lesions. Later symptoms were dark brown lesions and rot that affect the entire fruit. The strain that shows the same morphology as observed in the four decaying tissues was isolated on PDA. The strain was white, edge irregular and surface wavy, and the reverse side was pale yellow (Fig. S1A). The black viscous acervuli appeared on the surface of the mycelium after 7 to 10 days at 25℃ with 12 hours photoperiod. Conidia were fusiform to ellipsoid, straight to slightly curved, 5.7×25.9 µm (width × length), n=30, with five versicolor cells (three brown median cells, two hyaline cells on apical and basal). The apical cell generally contains one to four appendages on conidia (Fig. S1B). For identify the selected strains, three genetic regions (ITS, TUB and TEF 1-α) were used for amplification and sequencing. These sequences of pathogen shared 98 to 100% homology with Neopestalotiopsis clavispora. Then, a phylogenetic tree was constructed by the Bayesian algorithm using PhyloSuite (v1.2.2) (Zhang et al. 2020). Based on the morphological and molecular characterization, the pathogen was identified as Neopestalotiopsis clavispora (Chamorro et al. 2016). Next, pathogenicity of the screened strains was determined by wound inoculation method. Ripe healthy fruits are immersed in 1% NaClO, rinsed twice with sterile water. A sterile needle was used to penetrate 1-2mm of peel, and then inoculate hyphae (about 5mm in length, 1mm in diameter), and 10 µL of sterile water as a control. The treated fruits are stored in an artificial climate chamber (22°C, 70% relative humidity with 12 hours photoperiod). The inoculated fruit began to show signs of rot on the second day, and after 6 days, lesions similar to those found during storage of the pathogenic isolated fruit appeared. Similarly, 10 µL (106 conidia/mL) conidial suspension exhibited decay symptoms. Compared with conidial suspension as inoculum, hyphae has shorter incubation period and stronger pathogenicity to fruit (Fig. S2). The pathogen was re-isolated from these infected fruits and identified as N. clavispora, thus fulfilling Koch's postulates. N. clavispora has been reported causing root and crown rot on strawberry in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Italy (Chamorro et al. 2016; Gilardi et al. 2019; Machin et al. 2019; Obregon et al. 2018), and as a pathogen on blueberry in Spain and Korea (Borrero et al. 2018; Lee et al. 2019), and causing leaf spot on macadamia in Brazil (Santos et al. 2019), and causing leaf spot on Syzygium cumini in India (Banerjee and Rana 2020). However, to our knowledge, this is the first report of Neopestalotiopsis clavispora causing postharvest fruit rot of A. argute in the worldwide. The identification of the pathogen is of great significance for conducting research on A. argute fruit preservation to prolong its shelf life and improve its merchantability.

Abstract
The first full angular analysis and an updated measurement of the decay-rate CP asymmetry of the D^{0}→π^{+}π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} and D^{0}→K^{+}K^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} decays are reported. The analysis uses proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The full set of CP -averaged angular observables and their CP asymmetries are measured as a function of the dimuon invariant mass. The results are consistent with expectations from the standard model and with CP symmetry.

POS1019 REAL-WORLD EVALUATION OF TREATMENT PATTERNS AND PERSISTENCE OF TOFACITINIB IN TREATMENT OF PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS IN AUSTRALIA: AN ANALYSIS OF THE OPAL DATASET. Ann Rheum Dis 2022. Abstract
BackgroundTofacitinib (TOF), a potent selective inhibitor of Janus kinase (JAK), is an approved treatment of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). In Australia, patients with active PsA despite six months of therapy with a pre-specified combination of csDMARDs are eligible to receive subsidised b/tsDMARDs. The clinician can prescribe the b/tsDMARD they deem to be the most clinically appropriate for the patient. Limited data exist to describe the real-world treatment patterns, characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients with PsA who receive TOF in the real-world setting.ObjectivesTo describe real-world treatment patterns and treatment persistence among patients with PsA treated with TOF in the Australian post-approval setting using the OPAL dataset.MethodsThe OPAL dataset is a collection of deidentified clinical data derived from the electronic medical records of 112 rheumatologists at 43 sites around Australia. Adult patients with a diagnosis of PsA who received at least one prescription of TOF, a tumour necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi) or an interleukin 17 inhibitor (IL-17Ai) between May 2019 and Sept 2020 were eligible, with data up to Sept 2021 included in the analysis. Results were summarised descriptively. Treatment persistence was summarised using Kaplan-Meier methods.ResultsOf 16,692 patients with PsA identified in the OPAL dataset, 1,486 (TOF n=406, IL-17Ai n=416, and TNFi n=664) were eligible for inclusion in this study. At the time of treatment initiation, the mean (SD) age of TOF, IL-17Ai and TNFi treated patients was 55.56 (12.68), 52.65 (12.72) and 50.32 (14.57) years, respectively. 19.2% of patients receiving TOF were first line compared with 41.8% of IL-17Ai and 62.8% of TNFi treated patients. The mean (SD) time from symptom onset to treatment initiation was longest for patients receiving TOF in first line (153.29 (127.50) months) compared to first line IL-17Ai (116.83 (113.97) months) and TNFi treated patients (92.37 (89.01) months). Overall, 34.2% of TOF, 32.9% of IL-17Ai and 26.4% of TNFi treated patients initiated therapy without concomitant cDMARDs being recorded.Overall median persistence was 16.54 months (95% CI 13.84, 19.53) for TOF treated patients, 17.65 months (95% CI, 15.75, 19.56) for IL-17Ai treated patients and 17.16 months (95% CI 14.86, 20.48) for TNFi treated patients. As expected, persistence was generally longer in patients treated as first line (Figure 1) with patients receiving TOF observed to have slightly higher persistence in the first 15 months of treatment.Figure 1.Treatment persistence of patients receiving TOF, IL-17Ai and TNFi as first line therapy. Plot curtailed at 15 months as relatively few patients have information past this point. Where no stop date was recorded, censoring occurs at last recorded visitConclusionIn this analysis of a large Australian real-world dataset, TOF was more commonly utilised as a later line therapy for patients with PsA. Patients receiving TOF were observed to have slightly higher persistence within the first 15 months of starting first line therapy in this preliminary analysis.AcknowledgementsThe authors acknowledge the members of OPAL Rheumatology Ltd and their patients for providing clinical data for this study, and Software4Specialists Pty Ltd for providing the Audit4 platform. Wang L, Yin H, Yang L, Zhang F, Wang S, Liao D. The Efficacy and Safety of Roxadustat for Anemia in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease: A Meta-Analysis. Front Pharmacol 2022; 13:779694. [PMID: 35559232 PMCID: PMC9086555 DOI: 10.3389/fphar.2022.779694] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [Track Full Text] [Download PDF] [Figures] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 10/19/2021] [Accepted: 03/28/2022] [Indexed: 12/02/2022] Open
Abstract
Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health problem, and anemia is a common complication in CKD patients. Roxadustat (FG-4592) is an oral hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) stabilizer. Roxadustat has been shown in studies to keep up with and increase hemoglobin better than placebo or erythropoietin. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to assess the efficacy and safety of roxadustat. Methods: We searched CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Database, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials of roxadustat for the treatment of anemia in CKD patients. The papers were screened using rigorous criteria and their quality was assessed using the Cochrane 5.1.0 assessment manual for randomized controlled trials (RCTs). RevMan 5.3 was used to extract and synthesize data for meta-analysis. Results: There were 8 RCTs (7 articles) in all, and 1,364 patients with chronic kidney disease anemia were involved. The overall quality of the studies included was satisfactory. The meta-analysis findings revealed that roxadustat can considerably enhance hemoglobin, transferrin, and total iron binding capacity (TIBC) in both dialysis-dependent (DD) and non-dialysis-dependent (NDD) patients: Hemoglobin (Hb): DD: [SMD = 0.23, 95% CI (0.01, 0.44), p = 0.04], NDD: [SMD = 2.08, 95% CI (1.23, 2.93) p < 0.000001]; transferrin: DD: [SMD = 0.78, 95% CI (0.24, 1.32), p = 0.004], NDD: [SMD = 1.37, 95% CI (0.76, 1.98), p < 0.0001]; TIBC: DD [SMD = 0.97, 95% CI (0.64, 1.29), p < 0.00001], NDD [SMD = 1.34, 95% CI (0.9, 1.78), p < 0.00001]. After roxadustat therapy, patients’ serum iron levels were considerably higher in the dialysis group than in the control group, but there was no significant change in the NDD group [SMD = 0.42, 95% CI (0.27, 0.57), p < 0.00001]. In the NDD group, hepcidin, ferritin, and transferrin saturation (TSAT) were significantly reduced after roxadustat treatment: Hepcidin [SMD = −1.59, 95% CI (−2.69, −0.49), p = 0.005], ferritin [SMD = −0.51, 95% CI (−0.72, 0.3) p < 0.00001], TSAT [SMD = −0.41, 95% CI (−0.62, 0.2), p < 0.0001]. In terms of safety, adverse events (AE) [SMD = 1.08, 95% CI (0.98, 1.18) p = 0.11] and serious adverse events (SAE) [SMD = 1.32, 95% CI (0.97, 1.9) p = 0.08] were not significantly different between the two groups. Conclusion: Roxadustat can improve anemia in NDD patients with chronic kidney disease, and its short-term safety was comparable to that of the comparison group.

Abstract
Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1} . The results are consistent with the standard model and previous tests of lepton universality in related decay modes. The first observation of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays is reported.

Abstract
The first observation of the semileptonic b-baryon decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, with a significance of 6.1σ, is reported using a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC. The τ^{-} lepton is reconstructed in the hadronic decay to three charged pions. The ratio K=B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}) is measured to be 2.46±0.27±0.40, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})=(1.50±0.16±0.25±0.23)% is obtained, where the third uncertainty is from the external branching fraction of the normalization channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The ratio of semileptonic branching fractions R(Λ_{c}^{+})≡B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) is derived to be 0.242±0.026±0.040±0.059, where the external branching fraction uncertainty from the channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ} contributes to the last term. This result is in agreement with the standard model prediction.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the metabonomics differences between pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in the third trimester and those in a group without GDM by screening a group of highly efficient and sensitive markers for GDM and validating previously published early metabolic markers of GDM. METHODS A cross-sectional cohort study based on ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry untargeted metabolomics analysis of serum samples collected from 59 pregnant women with GDM and 59 pregnant women without GDM. RESULTS A total of 121 metabolites were detected, and 27 were identified as differential metabolites between GDM and control. The combination of 27 metabolic peaks had area under curve (AUC) values of 0.90, 0.92, and 0.93 in the prediction models using support vector machine, partial least squares, and random forest, respectively. Finally, five metabolite biomarkers were selected to construct logistic regression models: L-valine, hypoxanthine, eicosapentaenoic acid, 2-amino-1,3,4-octadecanotriol, and choline. The AUC value of these metabolites was 0.769 between the GDM group and the control group. CONCLUSIONS The discovery of a group of differential metabolites in pregnant women with GDM in the third trimester and in pregnant women without GDM may facilitate the study of the pathologic mechanism of GDM; it may be possible to find an efficient and sensitive alternative GDM detection method.

Abstract
The treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is one of the most difficult challenges in neurodevelopmental diseases, because of the unclear pathogenesis research and low brain-lesion targeting efficiency. Besides, maternal immune activation has been reported as the most mature and widely used model of ASD and aspirin-triggered lipoxin A4 is a potent anti-inflammatory mediator being involved in the resolution of neuroinflammation in ASD. Therefore, an aspirin encapsulated cascade drug delivery system (Asp@TMNPs) is established, which can successively target the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and microglial cells and response to the acid microenvironment in lysosome. As a result, the mitochondrial oxidative stress, DNA damage, and inflammation of microglial cells are prominently alleviated. After the treatment of Asp@TMNPs, the social interaction, stereotype behavior, and anxious condition of ASD mice are notably improved and the activation of microglial cells is inhibited. Overall, this system successively penetrates the BBB and targets microglial cells, therefore, it significantly enhances the intracephalic drug accumulation and improves anti-neuroinflammatory efficacy of aspirin, providing a promising strategy for ASD treatment.

[PMID: 35460462 DOI: 10.1007/s11596-022-2584-6] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [Track Full Text] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 07/12/2021] [Accepted: 01/07/2022] [Indexed: 11/30/2022]
Abstract
OBJECTIVE Abdominal aortic balloon occlusion (AABO) is a vascular intervention method that has been widely used in the treatment of severe placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). The aim of this study was to investigate the benefits, potential risks, and characteristics of AABO combined with tourniquet binding of the lower uterine segment (LUS) in treatment of pregnant women with PAS. METHODS In this study, 64 pregnant women with PAS scores greater than 5 were enrolled as research subjects and divided into two groups. Group A (n=34) underwent normal operative procedures including tourniquet binding of the LUS. Group B (n=30) underwent AABO combined with tourniquet binding of the LUS. General clinical characteristics, ultrasonography PAS score, intraoperative blood loss (IBL), blood loss within 24 h after surgery (24-h BL), postoperative complications, and neonatal data of the two groups were retrospectively reviewed. The influencing factors of IBL for the two groups were analyzed. RESULTS The amounts of IBL, 24-h BL, total input red blood cell, and the incidence of disseminated intravascular coagulation were significantly lower in group B than in group A (P<0.05), and this difference was even more significant in the subgroup of placenta percreta (PAS scores ≥10). Further multivariate linear analysis showed that the combined therapy of AABO and tourniquet could independently predict lower IBL than normal operative procedures did (P=0.001). CONCLUSION AABO combined with tourniquet binding of the LUS could improve the outcomes of pregnant women with severe PAS and reduce serious peripartum complications of AABO.

Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Ileocolic anastomosis is performed via extracorporeal or intracorporeal techniques in robotic right hemicolectomy. The aim of this meta-analysis was to compare the short-term outcomes of intracorporeal anastomosis (IA) and extracorporeal anastomosis (EA) for robotic right colectomy. The EMBASE, PubMed, and Cochrane Library databases were searched systematically (from inception until March 1, 2020) for randomized and non-randomized control trials reporting the short-term outcomes of IA and EA for robotic right colectomy. Five observational cohort studies involving 585 participants were included in our meta-analysis. Compared to the EA group, the IA group showed significantly longer operation time [weighted mean difference (WMD): 28.88, 95% confidence interval (CI) 13.88-43.89, p = 0.0002], lower rate of anastomotic leak (odds ratio: 0.26, 95% CI 0.08-0.85, p = 0.03), and shorter time to first flatus (WMD: - 0.57, 95% CI - 0.95 to 0.19, p = 0.003). However, pooled results revealed no difference in blood loss, complications, wound infection, incisional hernia, length of incision, and hospital stay between the IA and EA groups (p < 0.05). This meta-analysis indicated that IA was superior to EA in terms of anastomotic leak and time to first flatus, but inferior in terms of operation time. Large-scale, multicenter, randomized studies are needed to confirm our findings.

Eur J Nutr 2022; 61:2881-2907. Abstract
PURPOSE Accumulating evidence suggests that vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of adverse perinatal outcomes. However, the dose-response relationship between maternal vitamin D status and adverse birth outcomes remains unclear. Focusing on prospective observational studies, we aimed to explore the dose-response relationship of vitamin D status with the risk of low birth weight (LBW), macrosomia (MA), preterm birth (PTB), small for gestational age (SGA), and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). METHODS Databases including PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science were used up to 19 January 2021 to search for observational studies that fulfilled criteria as follows: cohort studies, case-cohort studies, or nested case-control studies. Random-effects models were used to pool relative risks (RRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) in the observational studies. RESULTS A total of 72 publications were included in this systematic review and 71 in the meta-analysis. Maternal 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) concentrations were inversely associated with the risk of LBW (RR: 0.65; 95% CI 0.48-0.86), PTB (RR: 0.67; 95% CI 0.57-0.79), and SGA (RR: 0.61; 95% CI 0.49-0.76) in the highest versus lowest meta-analysis, but not associated with MA and IUGR. Linear dose-response analysis showed that each 25 nmol/L increase in 25(OH)D was associated with a 6% and 10% reduction in the risk of PTB (RR: 0.94; 95% CI 0.90-0.98) and SGA (RR: 0.90; 95% CI 0.84-0.97), respectively. CONCLUSION Our study suggests that a sufficient vitamin D status during pregnancy is protective against the risk of LBW, PTB, and SGA.

Abstract
Manno-oligosaccharide (MOS) is a prebiotic derived from natural plants or yeasts. Here, we explored the response of intestinal microbiota and epithelial functions after ingestion of MOS in a porcine model. Sixteen pigs were randomly assigned into two treatments and fed with basal or MOS-containing (0.3% MOS) diet for 21 days. Results showed that MOS supplementation increased the cecal acetate content and ileal 16S rRNA gene copies (p < 0.05). Importantly, MOS decreased the abundance of phylum Proteobacteria in cecal digesta (p < 0.05). Moreover, MOS elevated the expression level of SCL5A8 and GPR109A but decreased the expression levels of HDAC1 and TNF-α in the ileal and cecal mucosa (p < 0.05). MOS upregulated the expression levels of tight-junction protein (ZO-1, claudin-1, and occludin) and IGF-1 in the ileum and cecum (p < 0.05). This study presents the alteration of intestinal microbiota composition and intestinal barrier function after MOS administration, and facilitates our understanding of the mechanisms behind the dietary MOS-modulated intestinal microbiota and health.

Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that involves T follicular helper (TFH ) cell-mediated humoral immune responses. Absent in melanoma 2 (human AIM2 and murine Aim2) is a well-known component of the inflammasome in the innate immune system. Surprisingly, we observed that in SLE patients, upregulated levels of AIM2 expression were found in peripheral blood and skin lesions, with the highest levels detected in TFH -like cells. In the CD4cre Aim2fl/fl conditional knockout mice, a markedly reduced TFH cell response was observed, with significantly lower levels of serum autoantibodies and proteinuria, as well as profoundly reduced renal IgG deposition in pristane-induced lupus mice. Mechanistically, IL-21 was found to recruit hydroxymethyltransferase ten-eleven translocation 2 (TET2) to the AIM2 promoter, resulting in DNA demethylation and increased transcription of AIM2. In addition, AIM2 could regulate c-MAF expression to enhance IL-21 production, which consequently promoted TFH cell differentiation. Our results have identified a role of AIM2 in promoting the TFH cell response and further revealed that the IL-21-TET2-AIM2-c-MAF signalling pathway is dysregulated in lupus pathogenesis, which provides a potential therapeutic target for SLE.
