Abstract
BACKGROUND Epithelial ovarian cancer is one of the most lethal malignancies, and has a high recurrence rate. Thus, prognostic markers for recurrence are crucial for the care of ovarian cancer. As ovarian cancers frequently exhibit chromosome instability, we aimed at assessing the prognostic significance of two key mitotic kinases, BubR1 and Aurora A. METHODS We analysed paraffin-embedded tissue sections from 160 ovarian cancer patients whose clinical outcomes had been tracked after first-line treatment. RESULTS The median recurrence-free survival in patients with a positive and negative expression of BubR1 was 27 and 83 months, respectively (P<0.001). A positive BubR1 expression was also associated with advanced stage, serous histology and high grade. In contrast, Aurora A immunostaining did not correlate with any of the clinical parameters analysed. CONCLUSION BubR1, but not Aurora A, is a prognostic marker for recurrence-free survival rates in epithelial ovarian cancers.

Abstract
7569 Background: To know the predictive role of 18F-FDG-PET/CT 1month before and after stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) to stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Between 2004 and 2007, 20 patients received SBRT with 48 Gy for 4 consecutive days and checked two times of FDG- PET/CT and chest CT with contrast-enhancement at 1 month before and after SBRT. Change of maximal SUV (SUVmax) on FDG-PET/CT and the longest tumor diameter on chest CT before and after SBRT was measured. Patients only with high FDG uptake, SUVmax 3.0 or above, on FDG-PET/CT before SBRT and tumor diameter below 5 cm were analyzed in this study. Change of tumor diameter was classified to PR (partial response), SD (stable disease), and DP (disease progression) as RECIST criteria and change of SUVmax was described as % change. Chest CT was checked at every 3 or 6 months during follow-up. Results: Mean time intervals from SBRT to FDG-PET/CT and chest CT were 32 and 30 days respectively. Mean longest tumor diameter was changed from 2.59 cm (1.36–3.93) to 2.17 cm (1.18–3.41), and its reduction rate was -16.2%. By RECIST criteria, 4 patients showed PR, 15 patients showed SD, and other 1 patient showed DP. Mean decrease rate of SUVmax on FDG-PET/CT was -52.1% and its mean value was changed from 7.1 (3.2–13.1) to 3.4 (0.3–9.8). Median follow-up time was 16 months. Local tumor progression developed in 2 (10%) patients and time to progression was 3.4, 6.1 months. Tumor responses on post-SBRT chest CT were PR in 1 and SD in the other 1 patient, and SUVmax changes were -31.9%, -25.5% in each. Most of patients showing no response, SD or DP, didn't recur after SBRT, and so chest CT at 1 month could not predict actuarial tumor response. On the contrary to chest CT, no patients showing SUVmax decreases over 40% experienced tumor progression after SBRT. High decrease rate of SUVmax over 40% decrease on FDG-PET/CT 1 month after SBRT could warrant good actuarial local tumor control earlier. Conclusions: Change of SUVmax on FDG-PET/CT 1 month before and after SBRT could predict actuarial local tumor control of stage I NSCLC earlier and 1 month after SBRT was adequate timing for the earlier evaluation of tumor response. Abstract
A method evaluating the economic efficiency of piggery waste treatment plant based on kinetics for nitrogen removal performances is executed in this study and five full scale plants were evaluated, monitored intensively during one year under steady-state conditions. The performance data from those surveyed plants were recalculated by first-order kinetic equation instead of the Monod's equation, and the nitrogen removal kinetics related with COD/TKN ratios. Two plants adapting two extreme strategies for pre treatment, 'excess phase separation', and 'minimum phase separation', were evaluated by the assessment of life cycle cost (LCC). Although the compared two plants use an opposite strategy to each other, similar evaluation results are deduced by nitrogen removal efficiencies and operational and construction costs. But the proportions of constituent elements are as different as two opposite strategies, so electrical and construction costs are inversely proportional to chemical costs and operational costs respectively.

Abstract
MR cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) is a valuable, non-invasive tool for accurate examination of the biliary system. We report a case in which MRCP played a critical role in the diagnosis of a duplication of the extrahepatic bile duct with anomalous union of the pancreaticobiliary ductal system in a patient with hilar cholangiocarcinoma. This variant of a duplication of the extrahepatic biliary system has not been described previously in the literature.

Abstract
7528 Background: We conducted a prospective randomized phase III trial comparing induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) versus immediate CCRT to evaluate whether the addition of induction chemotherapy would result in improved survival. Methods: Patients with unresectable stage III NSCLC, ECOG PS 0–1, and weight loss up to 10% were eligible. They were randomized to receive either induction chemotherapy followed by CCRT (arm A) or immediate CCRT (arm B) after stratification for stage (T4N0–2, T1–3N3, T4N3, and stage IIIA), histology (squamous vs non-squamous), and SCLN positivity. Induction chemotherapy consisted of two cycles of gemcitabine (1,000 mg/m2 D1, D8) and cisplatin (70 mg/m2 D1) q 21days. Chemotherapy during CCRT consisted of 6 cycles of weekly paclitaxel (50 mg/m2) and cisplatin (20 mg/m2). Radiation therapy performed with hypofractionated scheme (2.2 Gy/fraction, once a day) and total dose was 66 Gy. Irradiated volume encompassed gross tumor plus 1.0 cm margin. Results: Between March 2003 and June 2006, 134 patients were enrolled. 92% of patients were male and 60% were age 60 or older. Objective tumor response was obtained in 38% after induction chemotherapy. Response rates after completion of CCRT were 72% (95% CI, 61%–83%) on arm A and 79% (95% CI, 69%–89%) on arm B. Grade 3/4 toxicities during induction chemotherapy consisted mainly of neutropenia (11%/3%). During CCRT, grade 3/4 neutropenia was noted in 8%/5% (arm A) versus in 8%/0% (arm B), grade 3 anemia was 8% vs 0%, grade 3 thrombocytopenia 5% vs 0%, and grade 3 esophagitis 16% vs 16%. At median follow-up of 28 months, median survival was 12.6 months (95% CI, 8.6–16.7 months) on arm A versus 18.2 months (95% CI, 11.7–24.8 months) on arm B (P=0.18). Two year survival estimates was 25% (15%–35%) and 43% (31%–55%), respectively. Median progression free survival was 7.5 months (95% CI, 5.6–9.4 months) on arm A and 11.6 months (95% CI, 9.6–13.6 months) on arm B (P=0.04). Conclusions: The addition of induction chemotherapy to CCRT failed to increase the survival of unresectable stage III NSCLC over immediate CCRT. Moreover, the progression free survival was inferior to immediate CCRT. No significant financial relationships to disclose.

Abstract
Many research groups have studied blood pressure measurement in finger artery because of its convenience. But, low accuracy prohibits many hypertension patients from using this device. So, we suggest measurement algorithm that measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure in finger artery. And we also develop calibration method that decreases the error from difference of finger circumference by subjects. We apply our methods for 90 subjects (age form 20 to 49, 55 male, 35 female) to test feasibility of our method by AAMI SP10 standard. The mean difference of our system is ±4.7mmHg for systolic pressure, ±4.2mmHg for systolic pressure. It proved that the feasibility of our method is clinically acceptable.(under ±5mmHg).

Abstract
This study was conducted to evaluate the treatability of OMW (olive mill wastewater) with sewage and sewage sludge, which could supplement nutrients and microbes required for OMW treatment and reduce its possible toxicity. The amount of OMW added to an aeration tank was based on the loading difference between the designed and actual COD loads, while the amount added to anaerobic digestion for energy recovery was determined by CH4 production. The COD removal efficiencies were 70-85% for both systems. Compost of OMW with dried sewage sludge also showed a similar temperature profile without OMW addition. This strongly suggested that OMW can be treated at a sewage plant without pretreatment and the treated effluent can be reused in irrigation for an arid region.
