Synthesis and in vitro anticancer evaluation of some novel hexahydroquinoline derivatives having a benzenesulfonamide moiety

Mild and Efficient One-Pot Three-Component Synthesis of Benzopyrimidoquinoline-Tetraone Derivatives in Ionic Liquids

An efficient one-pot synthesis of 5-aryl-5,12-dihydrobenzo[g]pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline-2,4,6,11(1H,3H)-tetraone derivatives via three-component reaction of aromatic aldehydes, 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone and 6-aminouracil in ionic liquid [bmim]BF4 is reported. This method had the advantages of easier work-up, environmentally benign procedure, high yields and ease of recovery and reuse of reaction media.

(3Z,3'Z)-3,3'-(3,5-Dimethyl-furan-2,4-diyl)bis-(4-hy-droxy-pent-3-en-2-one)

In the title mol-ecule, C(16)H(20)O(5), the two 4-hy-droxy-pent-3-en-2-one units are essentially planar, with r.m.s. deviations of 0.0183 (2) and 0.0134 (2) Å for the non-H atoms, and make dihedral angles of 81.20 (10) and 84.44 (10)° with the central furan ring. The dihedral angle between these two side units is 22.06 (9)°. Two intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate two S(6) ring motifs. A weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-action is also observed.
