Abstract
An efficient chemoselective practical route to fully substituted thiazoles and 2,3-dihydrothiazoles has been devised by [4 + 1] heterocyclization of α-(N-hydroxy/aryl)imino-β-oxodithioesters with in situ generated Cu-carbenoids of diazocarbonyls. The α-(N-hydroxy/aryl)imino-β-oxodithioesters are readily accessible by the reaction of β-oxodithioesters with nitrous acid/nitrosoarenes. The overall transformation involves sequential N-O/C-N bonds cleavage followed by cascade C-N/C-S bonds formation in one-pot. This new strategy allows full control over the introduction of various sensitive functional groups at different positions of the thiazole ring, broadening the arsenal of synthetic methods to obtain such scaffolds.

Abstract
An intramolecular rhodium-catalyzed transannulation of readily available cyanothiadiazoles containing an ester, amide, or ether as a linker is described. It provides a wide range of bicyclic isothiazoles in good to excellent yields together with the release of molecular nitrogen. These results indicate that the carbon atom in the α-thiavinyl carbene is nucleophilic and that the sulfur atom is electrophilic.

Abstract
The Cu-catalyzed, formal aza-[3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of pyridine derivatives with α-diazo oxime ethers in trifluoroethanol was used to synthesize imidazopyridines via the release of molecular nitrogen and elimination of alcohol. These methods enabled modular synthesis of a wide range of N-heterobicyclic compounds such as imidazopyridazines, imidazopyrimidines, and imidazopyrazines with an α-imino Cu-carbenoid generated from the α-diazo oxime ethers and copper.

Abstract
Using N-sulfonyl triazoles as substrates, compounds as diverse as 2-imino tetrahydrofurans, 13- and 15-membered ring aza-macrocycles can be prepared selectively via formal [1 + 4], [5 + 4 + 4] and [3 + 4 + 4 + 4] condensations of α-imino carbenes and oxetanes under Rh(ii)-catalysis or thermal activation. Spirocyclic N-heterocycles are also accessible by means of Buchwald-Hartwig and Pictet-Spengler cyclizations. By reaction control, substrate selection or further derivatization, a large variety of chemical structures is thus achievable. Finally, using triazoles reacting under thermal activation, interesting mechanistic insight was obtained.

Abstract
Thiazoles and their hydrogenated analogues are not only key structural units in a wide variety of natural products but they also constitute important building blocks in medicinal chemistry. Therefore, the synthesis of these compounds using new protocols is always interesting. It is well known that N-propargylamines can undergo a number of cyclization reactions to produce various nitrogen-containing heterocycles. In this review, we highlight the most important developments on the synthesis of thiazole and its derivatives starting from N-propargylamines. This review will be helpful in the development of improved methods for the synthesis of natural and biologically important compounds.

Abstract
A novel strategy was developed for the application of Rh carbenes generated from readily accessible N-sulfonyl 1,2,3,-triazoles or diazocompouds in the high order cycloadditions, which offered an efficient route to a variety of N-containing medium-sized rings. The process provided a wide range of cyclohepta[b]pyrazine and cyclohepta[b]pyrrolone derivatives with high yields.

Abstract
A facile rhodium-catalyzed transannulation of 1-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles with β-diketones was realized, and a series of multisubstituted 2-carbonylpyrroles were synthesized efficiently (up to 94% yield). The protocol features several advantages, such as readily available materials, mild reaction conditions, a concise operating procedure, a broad reaction scope, and excellent regioselectivity when benzoylacetone derivatives were used.

Abstract
An efficient diastereoselective rhodium catalyzed synthesis of indolines possessing two contiguous tetrasubstituted carbon centers has been achieved with good to excellent yields using ortho-vinylanilines and iminocarbenes derived from N-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles.
The reaction affords excellent cis-diastereoselectivity through the initial formation of a N-ylide followed by intramolecular trapping with unactivated alkenes via an ene-type reaction with a well-organized transition state, namely intramolecular carbenylative amination of alkenes. The developed transformation was further extended to the successful synthesis of tricyclic compounds, imidazoindolines, through reduction and hypervalent iodine mediated oxidative cyclization.

Abstract
Rhodium catalyzed synthesis of substituted tetrahydropyridines was accomplished from readily accessible thio-tethered N-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles. The reaction involves tandem rhodium catalyzed 1,2-sulfur migration in β-thio-α-diazoimines, generated from thio-tethered N-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles, to thio-substituted 1-azadiene and subsequent self aza-Diels-Alder reaction. Interestingly, the methodology was effectively extended to the synthesis of fused tetrahydropyridines, dihydropyridines and cyclohexenes through the in situ trapping of the intermediate, 1-azadiene, with various dienophiles such as enol ether, enamine, ketene S,S-acetal, alkyne, alkene and diene. Furthermore, the direct conversion of propargyl sulfides to (fused)-tetrahydropyridines was also achieved through the successful integration of copper and rhodium catalysts in one-pot.
