Abstract
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have been recognized as a new type of promising visible-light-driven photocatalysts for H2 evolution, while it still is a key point to facilitate the separation and transfer of photoinduced charges for further enhancing their activities. In this work, we fabricated a new type of ternary Pt/rGO/COF photocatalysts with Pt cocatalyst precisely anchored on rGO serving as electron collector for largely enhanced H2 evolution. A series of ternary hybrid materials were obtained via one-pot photoreduction of Pt4+ and GO under visible-light irradiation in a solution the same as photocatalytic H2 evolution reaction and simultaneous self-assembling of rGO/COF heterostructure. No need isolation, the synthetic system could be further used for photocatalytic H2 evolution reaction and the results show the H2 evolution rate of Pt/rGO(20%)/TpPa-1-COF hybrid material is 19.59 mmol·g-1·h-1, 6.51 times higher than that of Pt/TpPa-1-COF. The essential role of the exclusively distributed Pt nanoparticles on rGO to the high H2 evolution activity was confirmed by various comparisons of activity for the samples with diverse Pt distribution.

Abstract
The donor-acceptor-type covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have recently gained increasing interest in photocatalysis, but the photoinduced electron-transfer regimes in the COFs are underexplored. Herein, we demonstrate a designed porphyrinic COF possessing a donor-acceptor structure together with its photocatalytic performance in aerobic coupling of primary amines. The COF could be photoexcited by the full range of visible light to generate electron-hole pairs that could be separated by donor-acceptor pairs. Electron transfer as the mechanism of the reaction from anthracene unit to porphyrin unit was revealed by natural transition orbitals analyses. The electrons migrate to the adsorbed O2 to generate reactive oxidative species. The COF displays remarkable photocatalytic activities in the coupling of amines to imines, which can be explained mainly by the sufficient charge separation and mobility, benefiting from the donor-acceptor pairs in the COF and their interactions to the reactants and intermediates.

Abstract
Imine is an important intermediate in drug synthesis. Photocatalytic aerobic oxidative coupling of amines has been considered as a clean and promising way to produce imine and attracted great attentions. Herein, we designed and synthesized a novel two-dimensional porphyrin-based COF (Por-BC-COF) which adopts an AA stacking mode with excellent crystallinity, high Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface areas (1200 m 2 g -1 ), wide light absorption range (200-1300 nm) and good stability in a variety of organic solvents. Por-BC-COF can be used as a metal-free heterogeneous photocatalyst for the photocatalytic oxidation of amines to imines under visible light and red light with a high yield (97%). This work presents a novel and efficient COF photocatalyst in the application of light-driven organic synthesis.

Abstract
The development of large pore single-crystalline covalently linked organic frameworks is critical in revealing the detailed structure-property relationship with substrates. One emergent approach is to photo-crosslink hydrogen-bonded molecular crystals. Introducing complementary hydrogen-bonded carboxylic acid building blocks is promising to construct large pore networks, but these molecules often form interpenetrated networks or non-porous solids. Herein, we introduced heteromeric carboxylic acid dimers to construct a non-interpenetrated molecular crystal. Crosslinking this crystal precursor with dithiols afforded a large pore single-crystalline hydrogen-bonded crosslinked organic framework HCOF-101. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed HCOF-101 as an interlayer connected hexagonal network, which possesses flexible linkages and large porous channels to host a hydrazone photoswitch. Multicycle Z/E-isomerization of the hydrazone took place reversibly within HCOF-101, showcasing the potential use of HCOF-101 for optical information storage.

Abstract
Graphene oxide (GO) has been widely utilized as the precursor of graphene (GR) to fabricate GR-based hybrid photocatalysts for solar-to-chemical energy conversion. However, until now, the properties and roles that GO played in heterogeneous photocatalysis have remained relatively elusive. In this Review, we start with a brief discussion of synthesis and structure of GO. Then, the photocatalysis-related properties of GO, including electrical conductivity, surface chemistry, dispersibility, and semiconductor properties, are concisely summarized. In particular, we have highlighted the fundamental multifaceted roles of GO in heterogeneous photocatalysis, which contain the precursor of GR, cross-linked framework for constructing aerogel photocatalyst, macromolecular surfactant, two-dimensional growth template, and photocatalyst by itself. Furthermore, the future prospects and remaining challenges on developing effective GO-derived hybrid photocatalysts are presented, which is expected to inspire further research into this promising research domain.

Abstract
We report the construction of a porphyrin and imidazolium-ionic liquid (IL)-decorated and quinoline-linked covalent organic framework (COF, abbreviated as COF-P1-1) via a three-component one-pot Povarov reaction. After post-synthetic metallization of COF-P1-1 with Co(II) ions, the metallized COF-PI-2 is generated. COF-PI-2 is chemically stable and displays highly selective CO2 adsorption and good visible-light-induced photothermal conversion ability (ΔT = 26 °C). Furthermore, the coexistence of Co(II)-porphyrin and imidazolium-IL within COF-PI-2 has guaranteed its highly efficient activity for CO2 cycloaddition. Of note, the needed thermal energy for the reactions is derived from the photothermal conversion of the Co(II)-porphyrin COF upon visible-light irradiation. More importantly, the CO2 cycloaddition herein is a "window ledge" reaction, and it can proceed smoothly upon natural sunlight irradiation. In addition, a scaled-up CO2 cycloaddition can be readily achieved using a COF-PI-2@chitosan aerogel-based fixed-bed model reactor. Our research provides a new avenue for COF-based greenhouse gas disposal in an eco-friendly and energy- and source-saving way.

Abstract
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are crystalline porous organic polymers built from covalent organic blocks that can be photochemically active when incorporating organic semiconducting units, such as triazine rings or diacetylene bridges. The bandgap, charge separation capacity, porosity, wettability, and chemical stability of COFs can be tuned by properly choosing their constitutive building blocks, by extension of conjugation, by adjustment of the size and crystallinity of the pores, and by synthetic post-functionalization. This review focuses on the recent uses of COFs as photoactive platforms for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), in which usually metal nanoparticles (NPs) or metallic compounds (generally Pt-based) act as co-catalysts. The most promising COF-based photocatalytic HER systems will be discussed, and special emphasis will be placed on rationalizing their structure and light-harvesting properties in relation to their catalytic activity and stability under turnover conditions. Finally, the aspects that need to be improved in the coming years will be discussed, such as the degree of dispersibility in water, the global photocatalytic efficiency, and the robustness and stability of the hybrid systems, putting emphasis on both the COF and the metal co-catalyst.
