Abstract
A hydrophobic Ni-PTFE modified electrode has been prepared by constant current and cathodic electroplating with a nickel sheet as substrate in a PTFE suspension. Then the Ni-PTFE modified electrode was used for electroreduction from aromatic amide to diarylimide. The electrochemical characterizations such as cyclic voltammogram, EIS, polarization curves, and electrode stability have been carried out by electrochemical workstation. The structure of the electroreduction product diarylimide was characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR, MS(Mass Spectrum), and EA(Elemental Analyzer). Based on the hydrophobicity of the electrode, an approach suggested that the phenyl ketone radical may be formed by electroreductive deamination at the cathode. With the construction of C-N bond by the radical coupling, the electrocatalytic reduction may be comprised of a one-electron process including an ECC (Electrochemical-Chemical-Chemical) process. The electroreduction of aromatic amide to diarylimide may be controlled by both charge migration and concentration polarization. Electrocatalytic reduction of aromatic amides on Ni-PTFE modified electrodes is all well conversion ratio.

Abstract
The three-component domino reaction of thioamides, benzyl isocyanide, and water in the presence of a catalytic amount of both Pd(dppf)Cl2 and Cu(OAc)2 afforded novel 1,2,4-thiadiazolidin-3-one cyclic compounds, whereas the same reaction with tertiary alkylisonitriles in the presence of rare earth metal salt [La(OTf)3] resulted in (E)-N-(1,2-diamino-2-thioxoethylidene)benzamide open-chain products. This divergent reaction enabled the one-pot construction of five (N-S, C-S, C-O, and two C-N) or four (C-S, C-N, C-O, and C-C) new chemical bonds. Mechanism studies indicate that the oxygen atom of the product was derived from H2O.

Abstract
This report describes a mild electrochemical α-oxygenation of a wide range of linear and cyclic benzamides mediated by N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) in an undivided cell using O2 as the oxygen source and 2,4,6-trimethylpyridine perchlorate as an electrolyte. The radical scavenger experiment and the 18O labeling experiment were carried out, which indicated the involvement of a radical pathway and suggested O2 as an oxygen source in the imides, respectively.

Abstract
A three-starting-material four-component reaction strategy is described to construct thienopyrrolediones (TPDs) from the simplest raw materials, elemental sulfur, aldehydes, and β-ketoamides, under transition metal free conditions. Compared with traditional multistep reaction sequences, this process is simple, efficient, environmentally friendly, and atom-economic and has laid the foundation for further development of an easily synthesized TPD unit.

Abstract
A unified approach has been developed for the synthesis of both isourea and isothiourea in a three-component coupling reaction by treating alcohols or thiols respectively with N,N-dibromoarylsulfonamides and isonitrile and in the presence of K2CO3. This metal-free process proceeds via carbodiimide intermediate at room temperature within a very short reaction time. A library of sulfonylisoureas and isothioureas has been made using this synthetic protocol with wide substrate scope in good to high yields.

Abstract
In this work, ultrasonic spray technology is utilized for build up MXene and MoS2 nanosheets to three-dimensional MXene/MoS2 fold microspheres by one-step method. By skillfully assembling two kinds of functional two-dimensional materials, the microspheres have abundant heterogeneous interfaces and huge specific surface area. The optimum feed ratio of MXene and MoS2 is determined by comparing the absorbing properties, and the mass ratio is 5:1. With 30% filler, the material shows the best absorption performance. At 10.4 GHz, the minimal reflection loss (RLmin) reach -51.21 dB, and the thickness is merely 2.5 mm. At the thickness in 1.6 mm, the efficacious absorption bandwidth (RL < -10 dB) reaches 4.4 GHz. The outstanding microwave absorbing properties with MXene/MoS2 folded microspheres is resulted in the multiple interfaces in the heterostructure and above the average conductivity of MXene. The results show that MXene/MoS2 folded microsphere is a prospective electromagnetic absorbing material. The construction of MXene/MoS2 folded microsphere provides an effective method to devise new high-performance microwave absorbing materials.

Abstract
Cerium(III) triflate-catalyzed multicomponent reactions between alkynyl carboxylic acids, tert-butyl isocyanide, and organic azides have been developed. In the presence of Ce(OTf)3 (10 mol %), the cascade reaction of one molecule of alkynyl carboxylic acid with three molecules of tert-butyl isocyanides proceeds chemoselectively and regioselectively via a triple and ordered isocyanide insertion process at room temperature, and then the cesium-catalyzed [3 + 2] cycloaddtion reaction between the resulted alkynyl oxazole and organic azides was further initiated by the temperature elevation (100 °C), thereby leading to multisubstituted triazole-oxazole derivatives in practical, time-saving, one-pot operations. Furthermore, some of the synthesized target compounds showed potential anticancer activities against MGC803 (human gastric cancer cell) with IC50 values below 20 μmol L-1.
