Abstract
Herein, we report a Cu-DTBP-catalyzed [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction between 1-(2-oxo-2-phenylethyl)-1H-indole-3-aldehyde and arylalkene, using DMF as the solvent. Under relatively mild reaction conditions, a series of indole compounds were synthesized in moderate yields (up to 73%). This protocol features good functional group tolerance and high atom economy. In addition, we synthesized a total of 20 target compounds, providing a reliable and straightforward method to obtain structurally diverse pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole derivatives.

Abstract
Organophotocatalytic cascade cross-dehydrogenative-coupling/cyclization reaction of o-hydroxyarylenaminones with α-amino acid derivatives for the construction of α-chromone substituted α-amino acid derivatives was developed. Various N-arylglycine esters, amides and dipeptides underwent the cascade cyclization reaction well with o-hydroxyarylenaminones to afford the corresponding 3-aminoalkyl chromones in good to excellent yields. This approach consists of visible-light-promoted oxidation of α-amino acid derivatives, the Mannich reaction, and intramolecular nucleophilic cyclization under acidic conditions, and features a wide reaction scope, a simple operation and mild reaction conditions, which may have the potential to be used for the synthesis of bioactive molecules.

Abstract
Herein, we reported a practical and efficient strategy combining photoredox and enzyme catalysis for the construction of 3-aminoalkyl chromones from o-hydroxyaryl enaminones and N-arylglycine esters. A variety of 3-aminoalkyl chromones were synthesized with good yields under mild conditions in one pot. This synthetic protocol consists of sequential enzymatic hydrolysis and photoredox decarboxylation of N-arylglycine esters, oxidation of aminoalkyl radicals, Mannich reaction, and intramolecular nucleophilic cyclization, which affords a convenient pathway for the preparation of various 3-substituted chromones.

Abstract
Herein, an atom-economical and eco-friendly electrochemical oxidation/cyclization of glycine derivatives through intramolecular Shono-type oxidative coupling is disclosed, leading to a variety of 2-substituted benzoxazoles in 51-85% yields. This oxidative cyclization proceeded in transition metal- and oxidant-free conditions and generated H2 as only a byproduct. Additionally, gram-scale reactions and a broad substrate scope demonstrated the synthetic usefulness of this protocol.

Abstract
The title compound, C9H7NO3, crystallizes in the monoclinic (P21) space group. In the crystal, the almost planar mol-ecules display a flattened herringbone arrangement. Stacking mol-ecules are slipped in the lengthwise and widthwise directions and are linked by π-π inter-actions [d(Cg⋯Cg = 3.6640 (11) Å]. The structure is characterized by strong C-H⋯N and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and further stabilized by C-O⋯π inter-actions.

Abstract
A room temperature, visible-light-promoted and redox neutral direct C-H amination of glycine and peptides has been firstly accomplished by using N-acyloxyphthalimide or -succinimide as nitrogen-radical precursor. The present strategy provides ways to introduce functionalities such as N-acyloxyphthalimide or -succinimide specifically to terminal glycine segment of peptides. Herein, mild conditions and high functional-group tolerance allow the preparation of non-natural α-amino acids and modification of corresponding peptides in this way.
