Abstract
Thiosulfonylation and selenosulfonylation of vinyl azides with thiosulfonates and selenosulfonates were achieved using Cu(dap)2Cl as a photosensitizer under visible-light irradiation. This reaction is the application of a vinyl azide substrate in a group transfer radical addition (GTRA) reaction, through β-difunctionalization, to obtain a variety of unsymmetric difunctionalized N-unprotected enamines.

Abstract
We disclose herein a photocatalytic radical cascade cyclization of diazoalkanes for the divergent synthesis of important carbocycles and heterocycles. Under the optimal reaction conditions, various indanone, pyrone, and pyridinone derivatives can be obtained in moderate to good yields. Mechanistic experiments support the formation of carbon-centered radicals from diazoalkanes through the proton-coupled electron transfer process. Scale-up reaction using continuous flow technology and useful downstream application of the formed heterocycles further render the strategy attractive and valuable.

Abstract
The photoredox/PPh3-mediated cyclization of 2-isocyanobiaryls has been developed. A substantial range of functional-group-rich phenanthridine derivatives were synthesized at room temperature in a highly selective and atom-economic manner. Mechanistic studies suggested that the cyclization process is probably mediated both by Ph3P radical cation with key 1,2-hydride transfer and hydrogen atom generated through O-H bond homolytic cleavage of Ph3P-OH radical intermediate.
