Abstract
Biodegradable versatile inorganic nanomaterials are highly desirable in the field of nanomedicine. Here, for the first time, we report a kind of novel two-dimensional biodegradable l-cysteine-iodine (l-Cys-I) nanosheet with high computed tomography (CT) imaging ability and sonosensitization efficacy. Such l-Cys-I nanosheets consist of iodine molecules and l-Cys, where the iodine molecules are coordinated and stabilized by l-Cys and cross-linked to form nanosheets through disulfide bonds. The large and convenient functional surface is further modified with targeting moieties DSPE-PEG-RGD and cancer drug doxorubicin (DOX) to construct a nanotheranostic nanoplatform (CIRD). Under ultrasound irradiation, the CIRD nanosheets assist in tremendous reactive oxygen species generation and controllable DOX release, leading to remarkable anticancer performance both in vitro and in vivo due to the synergistic sonodynamic therapy (SDT) and chemotherapy. Our results validate that the CIRD nanosheets enable effective body excretion and negligible systemic toxicity owing to the biodegradation properties. The CIRD nanosheets, with biodegradability, biocompatibility, and versatility, hold great promise in nanotheranostics.

Abstract
Treatment of a racemic RhIII4ZnII4 complex, (Δ)4/(Λ)4-[Zn4O{Rh(aet)3}4]6+ (aet = 2-aminoethanethiolate), with d-penicillaminate (d-pen) gave optically pure ionic crystals composed of (Λ)4-[Zn4O{Rh(aet)3}4]6+ and ΛD-[Rh(d-pen)3]3-via intramolecular and intermolecular chiral transfers from d-pen.

Abstract
The chiral dodecanuclear palladium(II) thio cluster LaPd12(C3H5NO2S)3(C3H6NO2S)21 (1) was prepared by reacting l-cysteine (l-Cys) with PdCl2 and La2O3 in aqueous solution under carefully controlled conditions. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single-crystal XRD, TGA, IR, UV-vis, (13)C NMR, and CD spectroscopy. Insight into the dimerization process of 1 was obtained by ESI-MS and DFT calculations.

Abstract
Herein, a unique coordination system that exhibits multiple chiral inversions and molecular dimerization in response to a subtle pH change is reported. Treatment of (Δ)2-H3[Au3Co2(L-cys)6] (H3[1 a]) with [Co3(aet)6](NO3)3 (aet=2-aminoethanethiolate) in water at pH 7 gave a 1:1 complex salt of [Co3(aet)6](3+) and [1 a](3-), retaining the Au(I)3Co(III)2 structure and chiral configurations of [1 a](3-). Similar treatment at pH 9 led to not only the inversion of all of the chiral Co(III) and S centers but also the dimerization of [1 a](3-), giving a 2:1 complex salt of [Co3(aet)6](3+) and (Λ)4(R)12-[Au6Co4(L-cys)12](6-) ([2](6-)). When dissociated from [Co3(aet)6](3+) in solution, [2](6-) was converted to (Λ)2(R)6-[Au3Co2(L-cys)6](3-) ([1 b](3-)) with retention of the chiral configurations.
