Abstract
Boehmite is a natural and environmentally friendly compound. Herein boehmite nanoparticles were primarily synthesized and, then, their surface were modified via 3-choloropropyltrimtoxysilane (CPTMS). Afterwards, a new samarium complex was stabilized on the surface of the modified boehmite nanoparticles (Sm-bis(PYT)@boehmite). The obtained nanoparticles were characterized using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), wavelength dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (WDX), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern. Sm-bis(PYT)@boehmite was used as an environmentally friendly, efficient, and organic-inorganic hybrid nanocatalyst in the homoselective synthesis of tetrazoles in polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG-400) as a green solvent. Notably, Sm-bis(PYT)@boehmite is stable and has a heterogeneous nature. Thus, it can be reused for several runs without any re-activation.

Abstract
In this work, mesoporous MCM-41 was modified by a new Schiff-base formed from the condensation of triethylenetatramine and 5-bromosalicylaldehyde. Then, it was used for the stabilization of lanthanum metal (La-Schiff base@MCM-41) as a homoselective, reusable, efficient and biocompatible catalyst in the synthesis of 5-substituted 1H-tetrazole derivatives. The synthesized tetrazoles were characterized using 1H NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy and methods to measure their physical properties. La-Schiff base@MCM-41 was characterized by using various techniques such as ICP, CHN, XRD, TGA, BET, FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM, EDS and WDX. This catalyst has good stability and a heterogeneous nature, enabling it to be easily recovered and reused several times without significant loss in catalytic activity. This present strategy has important advantages such as utilizing PEG as a green solvent, short reaction times, excellent yields, easy recycling of the catalyst and pure separation of the products. The recovered La-Schiff base@MCM-41 catalyst was characterized by using FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM and AAS.

Abstract
ZnO nanoparticles embedded in a magnetic isocyanurate-based periodic mesoporous organosilica (Fe3O4@PMO–ICS–ZnO) were prepared through a modified environmentally-benign procedure for the first time and properly characterized by appropriate spectroscopic and analytical methods or techniques used for mesoporous materials. The new thermally stable Fe3O4@PMO–ICS–ZnO nanomaterial with proper active sites and surface area as well as uniform particle size was investigated for the synthesis of medicinally important tetrazole derivatives through cascade condensation and concerted 1,3-cycloaddition reactions as a representative of the Click Chemistry concept. The desired 5-substituted-1H-tetrazole derivatives were smoothly prepared in high to quantitative yields and good purity in EtOH under reflux conditions. Low catalyst loading, short reaction time and the use of green solvents such as EtOH and water instead of carcinogenic DMF as well as easy separation and recyclability of the catalyst for at least five consecutive runs without significant loss of its activity are notable advantages of this new protocol compared to other recent introduced procedures.

Abstract
Carcinoma, characterized by abnormal growth of cells and tissue, is a ubiquitously leading cause of mortality across the globe due to some carcinogenic factors. Currently, several anticancer agents are commercially available in the global market. However, due to their resistance and cost, researchers are gaining more interest in developing newer novel potential anticancer agents. In the search for new drugs for clinical use, the tetrazole ring system has emerged as an exciting prospect in the optimization studies of promising lead molecules. Among the various heterocyclic agents, tetrazole-containing compounds have shown significant promise in the treatment of a wide range of diseases, particularly cancer. Here, in this review, we focused on several synthetic approaches for the synthesis of tetrazole analogues, their targets for treating cancer along with the biological activity of some of the recently reported tetrazole-containing anticancer agents.

Abstract
Tuning the structural architecture of the pristine two dimensional hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanosheets through rational surface engineering have proven advantageous in the fabrication of competent catalytic materials. Inspired by the performance of h-BN based nanomaterials in expediting key organic transformations, we channelized our research efforts towards engineering the inherent surface properties of the exclusively stacked h-BN nanosheets through the incorporation of a novel competent copper complex of a bidentate chelating ligand 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (BP). Delightfully, this hybrid nanomaterial worked exceptionally well in boosting the [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of azide and nitriles, providing a facile access to a diverse variety of highly bioactive tetrazole motifs. A deep insight into the morphology of the covalently crafted h-BN signified the structural integrity of the exfoliated h-BN@OH nanosheets that exhibited lamellar like structures possessing smooth edges and flat surface. This interesting morphology could also be envisioned to augment the catalysis by allowing the desired surface area for the reactants and thus tailoring their activity. The work paves the way towards rational design of h-BN based nanomaterials and adjusting their catalytic potential by the use of suitable complexes for promoting sustainable catalysis, especially in view of the fact that till date only a very few h-BN nanosheets based catalysts have been devised.

Abstract
Today, most synthetic methods are aimed at carrying out reactions under more efficient conditions and the realization of the twelve principles of green chemistry. Due to the importance and widespread applications of tetrazoles in various industries, especially in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry, and the expansion of the use of nanocatalysts in the preparation of valuable chemical reaction products, we decided to use an (Fe3O4@NFC@NSalophCu)CO2H nanocatalyst in this project. In this study, the synthesis of the nanocatalyst (Fe3O4@NFC@NSalophCu)CO2H was explained in a step-by-step manner. Confirmation of the structure was obtained based on FT-IR, EDX, FE-SEM, TEM, XRD, VSM, DLS, TGA, H-NMR, and CHNO analyses. The catalyst was applied to the synthesis of 5-substituted-1H-tetrazole and 1-substituted-1H-tetrazole derivatives through multi-component reactions (MCRs), and the performance was assessed. With advances in science and technology and increasing environmental pollution, the use of reagents and methods that are less dangerous for the environment has received much attention. Therefore, following green chemistry principles, with the help of the (Fe3O4@NFC@NSalophCu)CO2H salen complex as a nanocatalyst that is recyclable, cheap, safe, and available, the use of water as a green solvent, and reduced reaction times, the synthesis of tetrazoles can be achieved.

Abstract
The development of heterogenization of copper nanoparticles on conductive supports is very challenging and has received much attention. Here, we synthesize a practical, efficient, and inexpensive heterogeneous catalyst to grow stable metallic copper(II) nanoparticles on the surface of magnetic carbon nanotube (Fe3O4-CNT) catalyst support physically functionalized with triethanolamine (TEA) that acts as a low-cost and non-toxic ligand to capture the copper nanoparticles [Fe3O4-CNT-TEA-Cu(II)]. The as-prepared heterogeneous catalyst was characterized by different techniques, such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometer, X-ray diffraction patterns, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, and atomic absorption spectroscopy analysis. The catalytic behavior of Fe3O4-CNT-TEA-Cu(II) was investigated in the preparation of 5-substituted 1H-tetrazole derivatives via one-pot, three-component reaction between aromatic aldehydes, hydroxylamine, and sodium azide. The low catalyst loading, wide substrate scope, use of inexpensive materials, simple separation of the catalyst from the reaction mixture by an external magnet, short reaction times, easy workup, affordability, and superb yield are some advantages of this protocol.

Abstract
A mutually correlated green protocol has been devised that originates from a sustainable production of β-Ni(OH)2 nanoparticles which is used for an efficient catalytic synthesis of versatile substituted tetrazoles, under mild reaction conditions in water via a simple, one-pot, eco-friendly method. The synthesis is followed by derivatization into a highly fluorescence active compound 9-(4-(5-(quinolin-2-yl)-1H-tetrazol-1-yl)phenyl)-9H-carbazole that can be used at tracer concentrations (0.1 μM) to detect as well as quantify hydrogen peroxide down to 2 μM concentration. The nanocatalyst was synthesized by a simple, proficient, and cost-effective methodology and characterized thoroughly by UV-vis absorption and Fourier transform infrared spectra, N2 adsorption/desorption, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction pattern, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. Broad substrate scope, easy handling, higher efficiency, low cost, and reusability of the catalyst are some of the important features of this heterogeneous catalytic system. The strong analytical performance of the resultant derivative in low-level quantification of potentially hazardous hydrogen peroxide is the key success of the overall green synthesis procedure reported here.
