Abstract
A series of new kind green cellulose-supported bimetallic TiO2/Cu2O (Cell@TiO2/Cu2O) catalytic materials were obtained by in-situ reduction method employing cellulose as the carrier. The effects of metal percentage composition on the morphology and construction of the catalytic materials were systematically investigated. The Cell@TiO2/Cu2O were characterized by FT-IR, TG, XPS, SEM, TEM, EDS, and the element content was obtained by elemental analysis. Then, the achieved catalytic materials were applied to the chiral borylation reaction of α,β-unsaturated compounds, including nitrile compounds, esters, and α,β-unsaturated ketones. Remarkably, this approach provides an efficient strategy to gain an important class of chiral organic boron compounds with target chiral products in high yields as well as enantioselectivities. Besides, the Cell@TiO2/Cu2O could be easily recycled and effectively reused. This work constructed bimetallic TiO2/Cu2O on cellulose as a newly catalyst to obtain chiral boron compounds in aqueous phase.

Abstract
A chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol)-stabilized copper nanoparticle (CP@Cu NPs) was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for the borylation of α, β-unsaturated ketones, MBH alcohols, and MBH esters in mild conditions. This catalyst not only demonstrated remarkable efficiency in synthesizing organoboron compounds but also still maintained excellent reactivity and stability even after seven recycled uses of the catalyst. This methodology provides a gentle and efficient approach to synthesize the organoboron compounds by efficiently constructing carbon-boron bonds.

Abstract
An unprecedented and challenging multicomponent reaction has been developed that allows for the direct transformation of acyl chlorides with alkynes into the corresponding saturated β-boryl ketones via Pd/Cu-catalyzed coupling and boration with ethyl acetate as the hydrogen sources. Various β-boryl ketones were synthesized in good to excellent yields with broad functional group tolerance. In addition, the introduction of boron groups into the products provides substantial opportunities for further conversions.

Abstract
Organoboron compounds are highly important and versatile synthetic intermediates for the preparation of a wide range of organic molecules. Organoboron compounds have drawn significant attention among organic chemists due to their Lewis acidic property, non-toxicity, and commercial availability. Over the last several decades, there has been a substantial development of new organoboron compounds, useful in organic synthesis. Among all other organoboron compounds, β-boryl carbonyl compounds are the important ones. The β-boryl compounds have appeared as promising intermediates for various synthetic transformations. The 1,4-conjugate addition of diboron reagents to carbon-carbon double bond in the presence of different transition-metal catalysts has been extensively reported by various research groups across the globe. This mini-review outlines the numerous racemic as well as asymmetric β-borylation methods developed to date.

Abstract
Any attempt to facilitate a new generation of C-B bonds represents a useful tool in organic synthesis. In addition, if that approach highlights the nucleophilic character of boryl moieties in the absence of transition metal complexes, the challenge to create new reactive platforms becomes an opportunity. We have been deeply involved in the experimental and theoretical validation of C-B bond formation by means of alkoxide activation of tetra-alkoxy diboron reagents and here is presented a convenient guide to understand the concept and the applications.

Abstract
Single-atom catalysts (SACs) as a bridge between hetero- and homogeneous catalysis have attracted much attention. However, it is still challenging to generate stable single atoms with high metal loadings, and the application of SACs in traditionally homogeneous catalytic reactions is highly desirable. Herein, a Cu SAC with a high Cu loading of 8.7 wt % supported on coordinatively unsaturated Al2 O3 was prepared and used in the amine-free synthesis of homoallylboranes. Up to 99 % conversion, 95 % 1,4-selective boration of the enals, and 48-68 % isolated yields of homoallylboranes were achieved, equaling the results of reported homogenous catalysts, and the system was more efficient and stable than nano Cu/γ-Al2 O3 . Mechanistic investigation indicated that Cu-Bpin species are the active intermediates of selective boration. The superior catalytic and recycling performance of Cu SAC paves an efficient and green path toward selective synthesis of homoallyborane fine chemicals.

Abstract
We describe here the preparation of copper nanoparticles stabilized on a chitosan/poly (vinyl alcohol) composite film. This material could catalyze the borylation of α,β-unsaturated acceptors in aqueous media under mild conditions. The corresponding organoboron compounds as well as their converted β-hydroxyl products were all obtained in good to excellent yields. It is noteworthy that this catalyst of copper nanoparticles can be easily recycled eight times and remained catalytically reactive. This newly developed methodology provides an efficient and sustainable pathway for the synthesis of organoboron compounds and application of copper nanoparticles.

Abstract
Palladium(II)-catalyzed oxidation reactions exhibit broad utility in organic synthesis; however, they often feature high catalyst loading and low turnover numbers relative to non-oxidative cross-coupling reactions. Insights into the fate of the Pd catalyst during turnover could help to address this limitation. Herein, we report the identification and characterization of a dimeric PdI species in two prototypical Pd-catalyzed aerobic oxidation reactions: allylic C-H acetoxylation of terminal alkenes and intramolecular aza-Wacker cyclization. Both reactions employ 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one (DAF) as an ancillary ligand. The dimeric PdI complex, [PdI (μ-DAF)(OAc)]2 , which features two bridging DAF ligands and two terminal acetate ligands, has been characterized by several spectroscopic methods, as well as single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The origin of this PdI complex and its implications for catalytic reactivity are discussed.

Abstract
The conjugate addition reaction has been a useful tool in the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. The utility of this reaction has been demonstrated in the synthesis of many natural products, materials, and pharmacological agents. In the last three decades, there has been a significant increase in the development of asymmetric variants of this reaction. Unfortunately, conjugate addition reactions using α,β-unsaturated amides and lactams remain underdeveloped due to their inherently low reactivity. This review highlights the work that has been done on both diastereoselective and enantioselective conjugate addition reactions utilizing α,β-unsaturated amides and lactams.

Abstract
Enantioenriched potassium β-trifluoroboratoamides have been synthesized via an asymmetric, copper-catalyzed 1,4-addition of tetrahydroxydiboron (BBA) and tetrakis(dimethylamino)diboron to α,β-unsaturated amides. These dibora reagents provide access to the desired organotrifluoroborates using effective and atom economical sources of boron. The copper-catalyzed β-boration is extended to α,β-unsaturated ketones and esters. Desired potassium organotrifluoroborates are synthesized with yields up to 92% and enantiomeric ratios up to 98:2. The enantioenriched potassium β-trifluoroboratoamides are successfully cross-coupled with an array of aryl and heteroaryl chlorides in high yield with complete stereochemical fidelity as the transmetalation proceeds through an SE2 mechanism via an open transition state.

Abstract
The copper-catalyzed β-boration of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with tetrahydroxydiborane has been developed. This diboron reagent allows direct, efficient access to boronic acids and their derivatives. Primary, secondary, and tertiary α,β-unsaturated amides are converted to the corresponding β-trifluoroboratoamides in good to excellent yields. The β-boration of a variety of α,β-unsaturated esters and ketones is also reported.

Abstract
The stereospecific cross-coupling of enantioenriched nonbenzylic secondary alkyl boron compounds has been achieved. The high selectivity toward product formation over an undesired β-H elimination pathway is achieved via an intramolecular coordination of an ancillary carbonyl to the metal center in the diorganopalladium intermediate.
