Abstract
We investigated the coordination properties of original macrocyclic Ln3+ complexes comprising an imidazothiadiazole heterocycle. The thermodynamic stability of the Gd3+ complex was determined by a combination of potentiometric and photophysical measurements. The kinetic inertness was assessed in highly acidic media. The solution structure of the Ln3+ complex was unambiguously determined by a set of photophysical measurements and 1H, 13C, 89Y NMR data in combination with DFT calculations, which proved coordination of the heterocycle to Ln3+. The ability of the imidazothiadiazole moiety to sensitize Tb3+ luminescence was investigated. Finally, the relaxation properties were investigated by recording 1H nuclear magnetic relaxation dispersion (NMRD) profiles and 17O measurements. The water exchange rate is similar to that of GdDOTA as the less negative charge of the ligand is compensated for by the presence of a bulky heterocycle. Relaxivity is constant over a large range of pH values, demonstrating the favorable properties of the complex for imaging purposes.

Abstract
The first access to polyfunctionnalized pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrazole-4,6-(2H,5H)-dione derivatives is reported. The series were generated from diethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and arylhydrazines, which afforded the key intermediates bearing two functional positions. The annellation to generate the maleimide moiety of the bicycle was studied. Moreover, an efficient palladium-catalyzed C-C and C-N bond formation via Suzuki-Miyaura or Buchwald-Hartwig coupling reactions in C-6 position was investigated from 6-chloropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrazole-4,6-(2H,5H)-diones. This method provides novel access to various 1,6 di-substituted pyrrolo[3,4-c] pyrazole-4,6-(2H,5H)-diones.

A Facile One-Pot Synthesis of New Poly Functionalized Pyrrolotriazoles via a Regioselective Multicomponent Cyclisation and Suzuki–Miyaura Coupling Reactions. Catalysts 2022. Abstract
The first access to N-1, N-4 disubstituted pyrrolo[2,3-d][1,2,3]triazoles is reported. The series were generated using a “one-pot” MCR, leading to a single regioisomer of the attempted heteroaromatic skeleton in good yields. Next, the functionalization of C-5 and C-6 positions was investigated. (Het)aryl groups were introduced at the C-5 and C-6 positions of the pyrrolo[2,3-d][1,2,3]triazoles using regioselective electrophilic brominations followed by Suzuki–Miyaura cross coupling reactions. Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling conditions were optimized and a representative library of various boronic acids was employed to establish the scope and limitations of the method.

Abstract
Eucalyptus plants have attracted the attention of researchers and environmentalists worldwide because they are a rapidly growing source of wood and a source of oil used for multiple purposes. The main and the most important oil component is 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol: 60–85%). This review summarizes the literature reported to date involving the use of 1,8-cineole for the treatment of disorders. Additionally, we describe our efforts in the use of eucalyptol as a solvent for the synthesis of O,S,N-heterocycles. Solvents used in chemistry are a fundamental element of the environmental performance of processes in corporate and academic laboratories. Their influence on costs, safety and health cannot be neglected. Green solvents such as bio-based systems hold considerable additional promise to reduce the environmental impact of organic chemistry. The first section outlines the process leading to our discovery of an unprecedented solvent and its validation in the first coupling reactions. This section continues with the description of its properties and characteristics and its reuse as reported in the various studies conducted. The second section highlights the use of eucalyptol in a series of coupling reactions (i.e., Suzuki–Miyaura, Sonogashira–Hagihara, Buchwald–Hartwig, Migita–Kosugi–Stille, Hiyama and cyanation) that form O,S,N-heterocycles. We describe the optimization process applied to reach the ideal conditions. We also show that eucalyptol can be a good alternative to build heterocycles that contain oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen. These studies allowed us to demonstrate the viability and potential that bio solvents can have in synthesis laboratories.

Abstract
The first access to 3,5-disubstituted imidazo[1,2-d][1,2,4]thiadiazole derivatives is reported. The series were generated from 2-mercaptoimidazole, which afforded the key intermediate bearing two functional positions. The SNAr reactivity toward tosyl release at the C-3 position was investigated and a regioselective electrophilic iodination in C-5 position was performed to allow a novel C–C bond using Suzuki–Miyaura reaction. Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling conditions were optimized. A representative library of various boronic acids was employed to establish the scope and limitations of the method. To complete this methodological study, the influence of the nature of the C-3 imidazo[1,2-d][1,2,4]thiadiazole substitutions on the arylation in C-5 was investigated. A convenient design of 3,5-disubstituted imidazo[1,2-d][1,2,4]thiadiazoles is reported from 2-mercaptoimidazole, which afforded a versatile platform that was then used to access a variety of original heterocycles.![]()

Abstract
We report here the use of eucalyptol as a bio-based solvent for the Buchwald–Hartwig reaction on O,S,N-heterocycles. These heterocycles containing oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen were chosen as targets or as starting materials. Once again, eucalyptol demonstrated to be a possible sustainable alternative to common solvents.

Abstract
This work reports the design of [1,3,4]thiadiazolo[3',2':1,2]imidazo[4,5-c]quinolines using a Pictet-Spengler reaction. The scope of the reaction was achieved from 6-(2-aminophenyl)imidazo[2,1-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole derivatives and available aldehydes. A wide range of aldehydes were employed to examine the scope of the cyclization. In parallel, a mechanism investigation was realized and showed a hydride transfer which led to a dismutation of the intermediate species. To complete this methodological study, a "sequential" oxidation/SNAr procedure was performed to achieve C-2 nucleophilic substitution using several amine types.
