Abstract
We developed one-flow syntheses of unsymmetrical sulfamides and N-substituted sulfamate esters by changing a nucleophile and a tertiary amine from inexpensive and commercially available chlorosulfonic acid. In the synthesis of N-substituted sulfamate esters, unexpected symmetrical sulfite formation was suppressed by changing the tertiary amine. The effect of tertiary amines was proposed using linear regression. Our approach rapidly (≤90 s) provides desired products containing acidic and/or basic labile groups without tedious purification under mild (20 °C) conditions.

Abstract
Celangulin V is a natural β-dihydrofuran sesquiterpene polyester with anti Mythimna separate activity and unique mechanism of action. Further study showed that its target was the H subunit of V-ATPase in the midgut of M. separate. Thus, combined with the previous work, thirty-two benzene sulfonamide derivatives were systematically synthesised to discover efficient and low-budget insecticidal candidates for the H subunit of V-ATPase. Screening results showed that compounds C2, C4, C5, C6 and C8 could significantly cause death of tested third-instar larvae of M. separate, and provided the corresponding LC50 values of 0.844, 0.953, 0.705, 0.599 and 0.887 mg/mL, which were extremely better than Celangulin V (LC50 = 11.5 mg/mL). The docking results indicated that this novel framework might target H subunit of V-ATPase. Given these excellent bioactivity results, this kind of sulfonamide framework could provide a suitable point for exploring highly efficient insecticidal agents.

Abstract
A new series of sulfamoyloxyoxazolidinone (SOO) derivatives have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR, IR, MS and EA. Chemical reactivity and geometrical characteristics of the target compounds were investigated using DFT method. The possible binding mode between SOO and Main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 and their reactivity were studied using molecular docking simulation. Single crystal X-ray diffraction showed that SOO crystallizes in a monoclinic system with P 2 1 space group. The binding energy of the SARS-CoV-2/Mpro-SOO complex and the calculated inhibition constant using docking simulation showed that the active SOO molecule has the ability to inhibit SARS-CoV2. We studied the prediction of absorption, distribution, properties of metabolism, excretion and toxicity (ADMET) of the synthesized molecules.

Abstract
![]()
A plethora of drug
molecules and agrochemicals contain the sulfonamide
functional group. However, sulfonamides are seldom viewed as synthetically
useful functional groups. To confront this limitation, a late-stage
functionalization strategy is described, which allows sulfonamides
to be converted to pivotal sulfonyl radical intermediates. This methodology
exploits a metal-free photocatalytic approach to access radical chemistry,
which is harnessed by combining pharmaceutically relevant sulfonamides
with an assortment of alkene fragments. Additionally, the sulfinate
anion can be readily obtained, further broadening the options for
sulfonamide functionalization. Mechanistic studies suggest that energy-transfer
catalysis (EnT) is in operation.

Abstract
Sulfur(VI) fluorine exchange click reaction was applied to the highly efficient synthesis of new N,N'-disubstituted sulfamide (R1NH-SO2-NHR2) derivatives as pesticide candidates. Bioassays were conducted to evaluate both insecticidal and fungicidal activities of the target compounds. Preliminary results showed that the target molecules exhibited good bioactivities. In particular, insecticidal activities of compounds D25 and D21 against Plutella xylostella (LC50 = 2.42 and 3.87 μg·mL-1) were superior or adequate to that of commercial insecticide indoxacarb (LC50 = 3.99 μg·mL-1). Moreover, some compounds could also exhibit satisfactory fungicidal activity toward plant pathogens Pyricularia grisea, Botrytis cinerea, and Thanatephorus cucumeris. This work could bring new insights into the application of heterocyclic N,N'-disubstituted sulfamides as novel pesticides.

Abstract
Sulfamates and sulfamides are prevalent in biological molecules, but their universal synthetic methods are limited. We herein report a sulfamoylation agent with high solubility and shelf stability. Various sulfamates and sulfamides can be synthesized directly from alcohols or amines by employing this agent with high selectivity and high yields. This protocol was also successfully used for late-stage sulfamoylation of pharmaceuticals containing a hydroxyl or amino group.
