Abstract
BACKGROUND Stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells derived from adipose tissue and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are among novel treatments for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). We aimed to investigate the effect of adding SVF to PRP and compare it to administering PRP injection alone. METHODS Eighteen patients were randomly divided into two groups of nine. The PRP group was treated with PRP at all three visits at 1-month intervals, while the SVF-PRP group received an SVF injection on the first visit and a PRP injection on the second and third visits. Each group was evaluated at baseline and 20 weeks after the therapy's initiation. RESULTS Changes in mean hair diameter and hair count compared to baseline were significant in both groups. The PRP group experienced a greater increase in mean hair count than the SVF-PRP group, and the SVF-PRP group had a marginally greater increase in hair diameter than the PRP group. These differences were not statistically significant compared to each other. The patient and physician assessment scores exceeded the mean (on a scale from 0: poor to 3: excellent) in both groups. CONCLUSION Adding one SVF injection to two PRP treatment sessions versus three PRP injections alone had no significant difference in evaluated variables. If additional research demonstrates the same results, we suggest that multiple SVF injection sessions may be required to produce a statistically significant difference compared to PRP injection alone. Moreover, considering lower cost and greater accessibility of PRP, it can be used before SVF in the treatment of AGA.

Abstract
Stem cell-mediated therapies in combination with biomaterial and growth factor-based approaches in regenerative medicine are rapidly evolving with increasing application beyond the dermatologic field. Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) are the more frequently used adult stem cells due to their abundance and easy access. In the case of volumetric defects, adipose tissue can take the shape of defects, restoring the volume and enhancing the regeneration of receiving tissue. When regenerative purposes prevail on volume restoration, the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) rich in staminal cells, purified mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or their cell-free derivatives grafting are favoured. The therapeutic efficacy of acellular approaches is explained by the fact that a significant part of the natural propensity of stem cells to repair damaged tissue is ascribable to their secretory activity that combines mitogenic factors, cytokines, chemokines and extracellular matrix components. Therefore, the secretome's ability to modulate multiple targets simultaneously demonstrated preclinical and clinical efficacy in reversing pathological mechanisms of complex conditions such atopic dermatitis (AD), vitiligo, psoriasis, acne and Lichen sclerosus (LS), non-resolving wounds and alopecia. This review analysing both in vivo and in vitro models gives an overview of the clinical relevance of adipose tissue-derivatives such as autologous fat graft, stromal vascular fraction, purified stem cells and secretome for skin disorders application. Finally, we highlighted the major disease-specific limitations and the future perspective in this field.

Abstract
Core outcome sets, or the minimum sets of outcomes that would be used in all clinical studies of a given disease or condition, have the potential to revolutionize clinical research in laser and energy devices. Currently, laser studies, like other clinical investigations in medicine, measure whatever outcomes the individual investigators deem appropriate, making it difficult to compare safety and efficacy of various treatments through meta-analyses. The development of core outcome sets is rigorous, and involves systematic literature reviews, interviews with various stakeholders such as industry researchers, regulatory bodies, non-physician providers, patients and family members, as well as an international Delphi consensus process with input from both patients and physicians. Following the establishment of core outcome sets, core outcome measures are developed, with one measure being the preferred means for assessing each core outcome. Uptake of core outcome sets and measures can make it much easier to combine the results of different studies of the same condition across treatment modalities and geographic regions. Once researchers are all reporting, at a minimum, the same outcomes and using the same outcome measures, patients will truly be well-served, and we will then be working cooperatively, worldwide, to answer the same important questions. In doing so, we will move the science of laser medicine forward.
