Abstract
Stereoview showing strong intermolecular charge-assisted hydrogen bonds between host, and host and guest, molecules accounting for the host preference for 2MP (and 3MP). Disfavoured guests PYR and 4MP experienced only weaker classical hydrogen bonding interactions.
