Design, synthesis, insecticidal activity, and structure-activity relationship (SAR): studies of novel triazone derivatives containing a urea bridge group based on transient receptor potential (TRP) channels

Synthesis and Insecticidal/Fungicidal Activities of Triazone Derivatives Containing Acylhydrazone Moieties

A series of novel triazone derivatives containing aldehyde hydrazone or ketone hydrazone moieties were designed, synthesized and their biological activities were investigated against Aphis craccivora, Culex pipiens pallens, Helicoverpa armigera, Ostrinia nubilalis, Mythimna separata and 14 Kinds of fungi. Most of the aldehyde hydrazone exhibited excellent insecticidal activities against A. craccivora. In particular, the aphicidal activities of compounds 3t (35%) and 3w (30%) were equivalent to pymetrozine (30%) at 5 mg/kg. The aphicidal activities of derivatives 3p, 3u, 3y, 5g, 5i, 5l, 5q and 5u against C. pipiens pallens were higher than that of pymetrozine. Compound 3u (100%) exhibited good larvicidal activities against C. pipiens pallens at 0.25 mg/kg. Most derivatives exhibited broad-spectrum fungicidal activities against 14 kinds of plant fungi at 50 mg/kg. Thirty-nine compounds exhibited a more than 50% inhibition rate against Physalospora piricola. Compounds 3h, 3t and 3w were expected to be the leading structure for the development of new triazone insecticides agents.

Synthesis and insecticide evaluation of some new oxopropylthiourea compounds as insect growth regulators against the cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis

In this project we aim to share in increasing the production of the most important non-food agricultural product i.e. cotton via protection of it is plant. The usage of safe alternatives to the pesticides has become crucial due to several serious issues associated with the use of insecticides. Therefore, the families of new eco-friendly organic compounds that contain manly oxopropylthiourea scaffold will synthesis in their pure state by using green procedures. This compounds includes (i) poly functional substituted oxopropylthiourea, (ii) dihydroquinoline carboxylic acid, In second category, the structure of this compounds which may be related to the most famous insect growth regulators insecticides, will confirmed by elemental and modern spectroscopic analyses (such as IR, UV, 1HNMR and 13CNMR). In the final category, the synthesized compounds was checked toward the second & forth instar larvae of cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis. The present data proved that values of LC50 of the most effected synthesized compound 8 was 2.412 ppm in which LC50 for commercial lufenuron was 2.295 ppm. Component 8 may be particularly effective due to the presence of fluorophenyl, cyanoacetamide, and carboxalic acid groups in their chemical makeup. In an additional effort to slightly improve insecticidal compounds, evaluation of the latent effects of the examined components on a number of biological parameters, such as adult longevity, pupal weight, proportion of normal, deformed pupae, & adult emergency, fecundity, & egg hatchability, was carried out.

Synthesis of 1,2,4-Triazinones Exploiting the Reactivity of Diazadiene and N-Isocyanate Intermediates

1,2,4-Triazinones are useful compounds, but their synthesis can be challenging. Herein, we report a strategy to build 1,2,4-triazinones using α-bromohydrazones to access diazadienes and exploiting their ability to undergo facile substitution with nitrogen nucleophiles. The N-isocyanate intermediate formed in situ can then undergo cyclization to give the desired triazinones. This provides access to products with various substituents at the 4-position, and with suitable hydrazone precursors (R² = Ph), the cascade reaction yields 1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-ones at room temperature.

Novel Trifluoromethylcoumarinyl Urea Derivatives: Synthesis, Characterization, Fluorescence, and Bioactivity

A series of novel trifluoromethylcoumarinyl urea derivatives were designed, synthesized, and characterized by ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, and HR-ESI-MS. The fluorescence spectra of the target compounds were recorded. The spectra show that most of the title compounds glow green with λ_max^em of 500-517 nm, while compounds 5r, 5s, 5u, and 5l (compounds named by authors) glow violet with λ_max^em of 381-443 nm. Moreover, the herbicidal and antifungal activities of the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their potential use as pesticides. The results indicate that compound 5f against the caulis of Amaranthusretroflexus and compounds 5j and 5l against the taproot of Digitariasanguinalis are equivalent to the commercial herbicide Acetochlor. Nine of the title compounds are more antifungal than commercial fungicide Carbendazim against Botrytis cinerea.
