EFFECTS OF HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING ON THE ANAEROBIC CAPACITY OF WRESTLERS

ABSTRACT Introduction Since the Wingate anaerobic experiment was proposed in the 1970s, it has come to be used as an important detection method to evaluate athletes’ high-power sport capacity, the effect of training, and the training method. Therefore, it is often used to measure and evaluate the anaerobic work capacity of the human body. Objective Analyze the effects of high-intensity interval training on the anaerobic capacity of male wrestlers. Methods Professional wrestlers from a sports college were selected, as well as 30 college students majoring in physical education at a sports college, to compare the anaerobic power test. Results When evaluated by the Wingate anaerobic experiment, the value level of anaerobic power of training effects is best reflected in the first 10 s of the wrestling anaerobic experiment. The 30 s Wingate mainly reflects the effect of wrestling training on human anaerobic power, but the evaluation of anaerobic capacity from this period was not evidenced. Conclusion The Wingate anaerobic experiment is an important method for evaluating the level of wrestling training and can be used as a basis for evaluating the effect of training and the level of wrestling. EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT TRAINING LOAD AND TRAINING REGIMENS ON ATHLETES

ABSTRACT Introduction: The research of different training has always attracted the attention of people in sports circles all over the world. Training for strength testing is also an important part of athletes’ physical training. Objective: To explore the effects of different training loads and training ratios on the cardiorespiratory endurance of track and field athletes. Methods: A total of 50 male students from a university were selected for the experiment, 30 from the university's track and field training team, and 20 ordinary students. Results: When the load is 75W, 125W, or 150W there is a significant difference in R between the first stage and the third stage (p<0.05); when the load of the middle and long distance running team is 25W and 125W, there is a significant difference between the VE of the third stage and the first stage; when the load is 100W, there is a significant difference in R between the first and second stages (P<0.05). Conclusions: In the exercise load test, the cardiorespiratory endurance and energy metabolism characteristics of the different training teams in the third stage were better than those in the first and second stages. Training Intensity, Not Duration, May Be Key to Upregulating Presynaptic Proteins of Calcium Dynamics and Calcium-Dependent Exocytosis in Fast- and Slow-Twitch Skeletal Muscles, in Addition to Maintaining Performance After Detraining

Neuromuscular adaptations are essential for improving athletic performance. However, little is known about the effect of different endurance training protocols and their subsequent detraining on the gene expression of critical factors for neuromuscular synaptic transmission. Therefore, this study investigated the effects of endurance training (high-intensity interval training [HIIT], continuous [cEND], mixed interval [Mix], and all protocols combined [Comb]) and detraining on performance and gene expression (GE) of the alpha-1a, synaptotagmin II (Syt-II), synaptobrevin II (Vamp2), and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in the gastrocnemius and soleus of Wistar rats. Eighty rodents were randomly divided into control, HIIT, cEND, Mix, Comb, and detraining groups. The rodents trained for 6 weeks (5 × /week), followed by 2 weeks of detraining. Performance improved in all training groups and decreased following detraining (p < 0.05), except HIIT. In the gastrocnemius, alpha-1a GE was upregulated in the Mix. Syt-II and AChE GE were upregulated in HIIT, Mix, and Comb. Vamp2 GE was upregulated in all groups. In the soleus, alpha-1a GE was upregulated in HIIT, Mix, and Comb. Syt-II and Vamp2 GE were upregulated in all groups. AChE GE was upregulated in cEND, Mix, and Comb. Detraining downregulated mostly the gene expression in the skeletal muscles. We conclude that training intensity appears to be a key factor for the upregulation of molecules involved in neuromuscular synaptic transmission. Such changes occur to be involved in improving running performance. On the other hand, detraining negatively affects synaptic transmission and performance.

Exercise-Mediated Browning of White Adipose Tissue: Its Significance, Mechanism and Effectiveness

As a metabolic organ, adipose tissue plays an important role in regulating metabolism. In adults, most adipose tissue is white adipose tissue (WAT), and excessive expansion of WAT will lead to obesity. It is worth noting that exercise can reduce the fat mass. There is also a lot of evidence that exercise can promote the browning of WAT, which is beneficial for metabolic homeostasis. Multiple factors, including reactive oxygen species (ROS), metabolites, nervous system, exerkines and lipolysis can facilitate exercise-mediated browning of WAT. In this review, the roles and the underlying mechanisms of exercise-mediated browning of WAT are summarized. The effects of different styles of exercise on the browning of WAT are also discussed, with the aim to propose better exercise strategies to enhance exercise-mediated browning of WAT, so as to promote metabolic health. Finally, the different reactivity of WAT at different anatomical sites to exercise-mediated browning is reviewed, which may provide potential suggestion for people with different fat loss needs.

The effect of endurance, resistance training, and supplements on mitochondria and bioenergetics of muscle cells

Bioenergetics is the study of energy flow between biological systems and the surroundings and is measured quantitatively. Energy flow can be affected by many variables, including lifestyle and exercise, where exercise comes in different types; endurance and resistance training play significant roles in enhancing bioenergetics and promoting health. In addition, a supplementary diet supports recovery and energy production. This review aims to study the effect of endurance training, resistance training, and supplement intake on the muscle cell's bioenergetics. As a conclusion of the information presented in this mini-review, it was found that resistance, endurance training, and supplements can increase mitochondrial biogenesis, fat oxidation, myofibril synthesis, and increase VO₂ max.
