Abstract
Green, eco-benign, and sustainable synthesis is paramount in present chemistry. Here, a facile, efficient, and [H2-DABCO][HSO4]2 ionic-liquid-catalyzed one-pot multicomponent synthesis of hexahydroquinolines was reported under ambient reaction conditions. The reaction of 1,3-dicarbonyls, malononitrile, and ammonium acetate with various aldehydes in the presence of an ionic liquid catalyst and EtOH solvent at room temperature afforded excellent yields (76-100%) of hexahydroquinolines under a short reaction time (5-15 min). Mild reaction conditions, broad substrate scope (28 derivatives), and column-chromatography-free synthesis with excellent catalytic efficiency and good recyclability rendered this protocol superior and practical. The greenness of the present method was assessed through eco-score and E-factor. The significant results in gram-scale synthetic conditions validate its applicability in industries as well as academia in the near future.

Abstract
In this study, controllable and optimal microwave irradiation has been used to synthesize the novel nanostructures of Bi2O3 under environmental conditions. The final products had a thermal stability of 210°C, an average particle size distribution of 85 nm, and a surface area of 783 m2/g. The high thermodynamic stability of Bi2O3 nanostructures was confirmed by TG and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analyses. The nanostructure nature of compounds, and most importantly, the use of an effective, cost-effective, and rapid synthesis route of microwave have created significant physiochemical properties in the Bi2O3 products. These unexpected properties have made the possibility of potential application of these products in various fields, especially in nano-catalyst applications. It is well-documented that, as Lewis acid, bismuth nano-catalyst exhibits a great catalytic activity for the green synthesis of some bio-active barbituric acid derivatives using precursors with electron-donating or electron-withdrawing nature in high yields (80%–98%). After incorporating this catalyst into the aqueous media, all the reactions were completed within 2–3 min at room temperature. The main advantages of this method are practical facility, the availability of starting materials, and low costs besides the catalyst reusability. Additionally, the catalyst synthesis process may be carried out in the aqueous media for a short period with medium to high yields. The obtained results have opened a new window for the development of a novel nano-catalyst with practical application.

Abstract
In this work, the new trinuclear manganese catalyst defined as Fe3O4@NFC@NNSM-Mn(iii) was successfully manufactured and fully characterized by different techniques, including FT-IR, XRD, TEM, SEM, EDX, VSM, and ICP analysis. There have been reports of the use of magnetic catalysts for the synthesis of xanthine derivatives. The critical potential interest in the present method include short reaction time, high yields, recyclability of the catalyst, easy workup, and the ability to sustain a variety of functional groups, which give economical as well as ecological rewards. Also, the synthesized catalyst was used as a recyclable trinuclear catalyst in alcohol oxidation reactions at 40 °C. The magnetic catalyst activity of Fe3O4@NFC@NNSM-Mn(iii) could be attributed to the synergistic effects of the catalyst Fe3O4@NFC@NNS-Mn(iii) with melamine. Employing a sustainable and safe low temperature, using an eco-friendly solvent, no need to use any additive, and long-term stability and magnetic recyclability of the catalyst for at least six successive runs are the advantages of the current protocol towards green chemistry. This protocol is a benign, environmentally friendly method for heterocycle synthesis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE DABCO salts were evaluated as catalysts for the Biginelli reaction between 4- methoxybenzaldehyde, urea and ethyl acetoacetate under solvent-free conditions. 1,4-Diazabicyclo [2.2.2] octane triflate was found to be a simple, inexpensive, highly efficient catalyst for Biginelli reaction for a variety aromatic aldehyde with urea and ethyl acetoacetate at 80°C afforded corresponding 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones in 50-99% yields after 30-120 minutes. 1,3-Cyclohexadione was used in place of ethyl acetoacetate in the absence of urea this methodology is giving hexahydro xanthene derivatives in good to excellent yields after 3-4 hours. METHODS DABCO salt 4 (5 mol%), 4-methoxybenzaldehyde (0.73 mmol) and urea (0.73 mmol) were stirred for 10 minutes at 80°C, then ethyl acetoacetate (1.5 equiv.) was added and reaction mixture was stirred at 80°C for specified time. The resulting solution was stirred continuously and progress of the reaction was followed by TLC. The crude reaction mixture was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel (hexane/ethyl acetate (1:2)) to give pure desired product. RESULTS Reaction conditions of the Biginelli reaction were optimized using 4-methoxybenzaldehyde (0.73 mmol), urea (0.73 mmol), and ethyl acetoacetate (5 equiv.) as model substrates catalyzed by 1,4-Diazabicyclo [2.2.2] octane triflate (5 mol%) in a different solvents, screening of different catalysts and different temperatures. Neat condition was found to be the best for the Biginelli condensation and corresponding 3,4- dihydropyrimidinones was obtained in good to excellent yields. When the reaction was carried out with benzaldehyde derivatives and cyclohexane-1,3-dione in place of ethyl acetoacetate in the absence of urea, solely corresponding hexahydro xanthene derivatives were obtained in 61-91% yields. CONCLUSION In conclusion, we have applied salts of 1,4-Diaza-bicyclo [2.2.2] octane as catalysts in the Biginelli condensation and corresponding 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones were obtained in 50- 99% yields under solvent free conditions. This methodology is having advantages like simple work-up; low loading of catalyst and reaction was performed at moderate temperature under solvent-free conditions.

Abstract
Taurine, a β-amino acid that is abundantly available in the tissues of human and animals, is efficiently used as a green bio-organic catalyst in the preparation of some of the biologically active barbituric and thiobarbituric acid derivatives. In the presence of taurine, 5-Arylidene (thio) barbituric acid derivatives were prepared via Knovenagel reaction between aldehydes and (thio)barbituric acid. Using this reagent also pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidinone(thione) derivatives were synthesized through a three-component reaction between aldehydes, (thio)barbituric and malononitrile. Both reactions are performed in water with good to excellent yields during acceptable reaction times. No organic solvent was used during reaction or separation steps and no extra-purification was exerted. Meanwhile, reusability of taurine was easy and noticeably high.
