Abstract
The rising prevalence of cesarean sections, abortions, and other surgical interventions involving the uterus has led to an increased incidence of acquired uterine arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). These malformations primarily present as vaginal bleeding, which can significantly impair the quality of life for affected individuals and can pose life-threatening risks in severe instances. Currently, there exists considerable variability in the clinical manifestations, treatment indications, and outcomes associated with uterine AVMs, which substantially complicates clinical diagnosis and management. In this report, we present five cases of uterine AVM that developed following abortion and were treated at our institution. The patients underwent various treatment modalities, with all but one achieving a high rate of fertility preservation. We underscore the importance of tailoring AVM treatment to factors such as patient age, volume of vaginal bleeding, urgency of the situation, size of the lesion, and fertility aspirations.

Abstract
PURPOSE Pelvic arteriovenous malformations (pAVMs) are congenital or acquired vascular anomalies, presenting with hematuria, menometrorrhagia, pelvic pain, and varices; they can be life-threatening in case of rupture. Surgical therapies have been proposed but endovascular embolization has been recognized as the primary modality. The aim of this article was to report a retrospective multicenter experience concerning embolization of pelvic AVMs and provide literature overview. MATERIALS AND METHODS We describe 18 patients (14 female and 4 male) diagnosed with pAVM and treated with minimally invasive methods. The pre-procedural imaging evaluation was based on transpelvic and/or transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound, contrast-enhanced computed tomography, and/or magnetic resonance. In 3 cases, the malformation was congenital and in other 15, acquired. Most common symptoms were menometrorrhagia, hematuria, pelvic pain and pressure, and heaviness in the lower abdominal region. In 10 cases (56%), only 1 procedure was required. Eight patients underwent multistage treatment. RESULTS Complete occlusion of the lesion in post-procedural angiography was observed in 12 patients (67%). No major periprocedural complications were observed. In 14 cases (78%), both satisfactory embolization and significant clinical improvement was achieved in long-term follow-up. Sixteen patients (88%) were at least satisfied with the clinical outcome. One patient reported subsequent successful pregnancy 5 years after the treatment. CONCLUSION Hemodynamics of pAVM are variable and thorough understanding of the vessel anatomy is crucial in planning and choosing proper treatment. Both transarterial and percutaneous direct puncture embolization strategies appear safe, technically feasible, and clinically effective. CLINICAL IMPACT In this manuscript, we discuss the role of interventional radiology methods in the treatment of pelvic arteriovenous malformations along with its advantages, limitations and possible complications. In addition to this, we review the current literature and confront our findings with those made by other authors. We believe that modern endovascular methods offer safe and reliable alternative for traditional surgical therapy and should be therefore considered during multidisciplinary treatment of these patients.

Abstract
Peritoneal carcinosis is a condition characterized by the spread of cancer cells to the peritoneum, which is the thin membrane that lines the abdominal cavity. It is a serious condition that can result from many different types of cancer, including ovarian, colon, stomach, pancreatic, and appendix cancer. The diagnosis and quantification of lesions in peritoneal carcinosis are critical in the management of patients with the condition, and imaging plays a central role in this process. Radiologists play a vital role in the multidisciplinary management of patients with peritoneal carcinosis. They need to have a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology of the condition, the underlying neoplasms, and the typical imaging findings. In addition, they need to be aware of the differential diagnoses and the advantages and disadvantages of the various imaging methods available. Imaging plays a central role in the diagnosis and quantification of lesions, and radiologists play a critical role in this process. Ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and PET/CT scans are used to diagnose peritoneal carcinosis. Each imaging procedure has advantages and disadvantages, and particular imaging techniques are recommended based on patient conditions. Our aim is to provide knowledge to radiologists regarding appropriate techniques, imaging findings, differential diagnoses, and treatment options. With the advent of AI in oncology, the future of precision medicine appears promising, and the interconnection between structured reporting and AI is likely to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes for patients with peritoneal carcinosis.

Abstract
Interventional oncology (IO) procedures have become extremely popular in interventional radiology (IR) and play an essential role in the diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care of oncologic patients through new and safe procedures. IR procedures can be divided into two main groups: vascular and non-vascular. Vascular approaches are mainly based on embolization and concomitant injection of chemotherapeutics directly into the tumor-feeding vessels. Percutaneous approaches are a type of non-vascular procedures and include percutaneous image-guided biopsies and different ablation techniques with radiofrequency, microwaves, cryoablation, and focused ultrasound. The use of these techniques requires precise imaging pretreatment planning and guidance that can be provided through different imaging techniques: ultrasound, computed tomography, cone-beam computed tomography, and magnetic resonance. These imaging modalities can be used alone or in combination, thanks to fusion imaging, to further improve the confidence of the operators and the efficacy and safety of the procedures. This article aims is to provide an overview of the available IO procedures based on clinical imaging guidance to develop a targeted and optimal approach to cancer patients.

Abstract
Auricular arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) can cause a variety of symptoms that seriously impact the patient's appearance, life, and mental well‐being. Surgery is the primary management method for auricular AVMs, but there is no consensus on how to surgically manage auricular AVMs. In this article, we document a comprehensive review of the characteristics, classification, and surgical interventions to treat auricular AVMs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aims to investigate the correlation between computed tomography (CT) and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) findings in patients affected by acute post-traumatic intraparenchymal renal hemorrhages and evaluate their conservative management with superselective embolization. METHODS This retrospective multicenter analysis focuses on patients affected by renal bleedings detected by contrast-enhanced CT and treated with superselective endovascular embolization. CT findings were compared to DSA. Embolization procedural data were analyzed and renal function was evaluated before and after the intervention. RESULTS Twenty-seven patients were retrospectively evaluated in one year. Compared to DSA, CT showed 96.3% diagnostic accuracy in terms of hemorrhage recognition; concerning the type of vascular lesion, there was discrepancy between CT and DSA in five cases. The technical success rate of embolization was 100%, while primary clinical success was 88.9%. The inferior parenchymal third was the most frequent site of renal injury. Microcoils were the most adopted embolics. Renal function did not change significantly before and after embolization. CONCLUSIONS CT has elevated diagnostic accuracy in detecting post-traumatic intraparenchymal renal hemorrhages; in a small percentage, the type of vascular lesion may differ from the findings observed at DSA. In this scenario, superselective embolization presents high clinical success with a low complication rate.
