Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) being a leading cause of cancer-related death, has high associated mortality and recurrence rates. It has been of great necessity and urgency to find effective HCC diagnosis and treatment measures. Studies have shown that microvascular invasion (MVI) is an independent risk factor for poor prognosis after hepatectomy. The abnormal expression of biomacromolecules such as circ-RNAs, lncRNAs, STIP1, and PD-L1 in HCC patients is strongly correlated with MVI. Deregulation of several markers mentioned in this review affects the proliferation, invasion, metastasis, EMT, and anti-apoptotic processes of HCC cells through multiple complex mechanisms. Therefore, these biomarkers may have an important clinical role and serve as promising interventional targets for HCC. In this review, we provide a comprehensive overview on the functions and regulatory mechanisms of MVI-related biomarkers in HCC.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Background: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been shown to mediate atherosclerosis (AS) process by regulating vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) function. However, whether circ_0091822 mediates VSMCs function to regulate AS process is unclear. Methods: Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) was used to treat VSMCs for constructing AS cell models. Vascular smooth muscle cells proliferation, invasion, and migration were examined by cell counting kit 8 assay, EdU assay, transwell assay, and wound healing assay. Protein expression was tested by western blot analysis. The expression of circ_0091822, microRNA (miR)-339-5p, and blocking of proliferation 1 (BOP1) was determined using quantitative real-time PCR. RNA interaction was examined using dual-luciferase reporter assay and RIP assay. Results: Ox-LDL treatment enhanced VSMCs proliferation, invasion, and migration. Circ_0091822 was overexpressed in the serum of AS patients and ox-LDL-induced VSMCs. Circ_0091822 knockdown inhibited ox-LDL-induced VSMCs proliferation, invasion, and migration. Circ_0091822 sponged miR-339-5p, and miR-339-5p inhibitor reversed the function of circ_0091822 knockdown. MiR-339-5p targeted BOP1, and BOP1 also reversed the repressing effect of miR-339-5p on ox-LDL-induced VSMCs functions. Circ_0091822/miR-339-5p/BOP1 axis promoted the activity of Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Conclusions: Circ_0091822 might be a therapeutic target for AS, which facilitated ox-LDL-induced VSMCs proliferation, invasion, and migration through modulating miR-339-5p/BOP1/Wnt/β-catenin pathway.

Abstract
Block of proliferation 1 (BOP1) is a key protein that helps in the maturation of ribosomes and promotes the progression of the cell cycle. However, its role in the leaf morphogenesis of cotton remains unknown. Herein, we report and study the function of GhBOP1 isolated from Gossypium hirsutum. The sequence alignment revealed that BOP1 protein was highly conserved among different species. The yeast two-hybrid experiments, bimolecular fluorescence complementation, and luciferase complementation techniques revealed that GhBOP1 interact with GhPES and GhWDR12. Subcellular localization experiments revealed that GhBOP1, GhPES and GhWDR12 were localized at the nucleolus. Suppression of GhBOP1 transcripts resulted in the uneven bending of leaf margins and the presence of young wrinkled leaves by virus-induced gene silencing assay. Abnormal palisade arrangements and the presence of large upper epidermal cells were observed in the paraffin sections of the wrinkled leaves. Meanwhile, a jasmonic acid-related gene, GhOPR3, expression was increased. In addition, a negative effect was exerted on the cell cycle and the downregulation of the auxin-related genes was also observed. These results suggest that GhBOP1 plays a critical role in the development of wrinkled cotton leaves, and the process is potentially modulated through phytohormone signaling.

Effect of Combining Early Chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi Decoction under the Concept of Strengthening and Consolidating Body Resistance for Gastric Cancer Patients and Nursing Strategy. Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance for gastric cancer patients and nursing strategy. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients undergoing radical gastrectomy in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected for the retrospective analysis, and the patients were divided into the control group and experimental group according to different treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. Early chemotherapy after surgery was given to patients in the control group, and on the basis of the aforesaid treatment and under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, patients in the experimental group took Zhipu Liujunzi decoction and received the nursing strategy, so as to compare their effective rate, adverse reaction rate (ARR), immune function indicators, KPS scores, and nursing satisfaction scores. Results After treatment, the experimental group obtained significantly higher objective remission rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) (P < 0.05), lower carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) levels (P < 0.001), higher immune parameters levels (P < 0.001), higher KPS scores and lower TCM symptom scores (P < 0.001), lower PSQI scores, SAS scores, and SDS scores (P < 0.001) and higher nursing satisfaction scores (P < 0.001), and lower total accidence rate of toxic side effects (P < 0.05) than the control group. Conclusion Under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction is a reliable method for improving the immune function and quality of life for gastric cancer patients with higher safety. Such a strategy greatly reduces the tumor marker levels in patients. Further research will be conducive to establishing a better solution for gastric cancer patients.

Abstract
Previous studies have indicated the important role of block of proliferation 1 (BOP1) in the progression of several malignant tumors; no comprehensive pan-cancer analysis of BOP1 has been performed. Here, we aim to systematically identify the expression, prognostic value, and potential immunological functions of BOP1 in 33 malignancies. We obtained the gene expression data and clinical information from multiple public databases to assess the expression level and prognostic value of BOP1 in 33 cancers. We also analyzed the relationship between BOP1 expression and DNA methylation, tumor microenvironment (TME), microsatellite instability (MSI), tumor mutational burden (TMB), and immune checkpoints. Moreover, we conducted gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) to investigate the biological function and signal transduction pathways of BOP1 in different types of tumors. Finally, we validated the expression of BOP1 in lung cancer cell line and detected the influence of BOP1 on lung cancer cell migration and the expression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition- (EMT-) related genes. Collectively, our findings elucidated that BOP1 has the potential to be a promising molecular prognostic biomarker for predicting poor survival in various malignant tumors, as well as a cancer-promoting gene involved in tumorigenesis and tumor immunity.
