Abstract
A method is developed to electrochemically induce target-specific covalent capturing of the spike protein of SARS-Cov-2, forming a covalent peptide-protein complex fit for working with such complicated clinical samples. Specifically, peptide-coordinated copper ions can be electrochemically controlled to induce cross-linkage between certain amino acids on the peptide probe and the target protein. Therefore, target specificity can be tuned electrochemically, realizing highly specific targeting of the omicron S protein or broader specificity toward all variants of the virus. Using this method, with electrochemically catalyzed generation of signal-enhancing molecules, the sensitivity and covalent detection allow their application in both serum and fecal samples. These results may point to their possible use in screening new variants of the virus in the near future.

Abstract
Echinococcosis is a parasitic disease caused by two zoonotic tapeworms (cestodes) of the Echinocococcus genus. It can be classified as either alveolar or cystic echinococcosis. Although the two forms differ significantly in terms of imaging findings, they share similarities in terms of management and treatment. In parallel to medical treatment with albendazole (ABZ), and surgery, historically used in these diseases, various imaging-guided interventional procedures have recently emerged (drainage, stenting, or Puncture, aspiration, injection, and reaspiration (PAIR)). These options open up a new range of therapeutic options. As in oncology, multidisciplinary consultation meetings now play a major role in adapted management and patient care in hepatic echinococcosis. Consequently, diagnostic imaging and interventional expertise have brought radiologists to the fore as important members of these multidisciplinary team. The radiologist will need to evaluate parasite activity in both forms of the disease, to guide the choice of the appropriate therapy from among medical treatment, interventional radiology procedures and/or surgical treatment. Knowledge of the specific complications of the two forms of echinococcosis will also help radiologists to discuss the appropriate treatment and management. The aim of this review is to describe the core knowledge that what a radiologist should possess to actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings about hepatic echinococcosis. We discuss the role of imaging, from diagnosis to treatment, in alveolar (AE) and cystic echinococcosis (CE), respectively.

Abstract
Hydatidosis is one of the most important parasitic and zoonotic endemic infections caused by the larvae of cestode Echinococcus granulosus. Co-infection of hydatid cyst with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), has been previously reported. The mortality rate of hydatidosis is reported to be 2-4% and the liver and lungs are the two most commonly involved organs, respectively. In the present study, we have reported two recovered pulmonary hydatidosis patients who were infected with SARS-CoV-2 after thoracotomy in the hospital. In general, current cases suggest that patients with thoracic surgery are more likely to develop severe infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2). The patients presented COVID-19 symptoms shortly after thoracotomy and their viral tests were confirmed with the positive result of SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR. In conclusion, possible differential diagnoses should be considered in similar cases and adequate attention should be paid to intraoperative and postoperative care.
