Abstract
Congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome is a rare eyelid finding where a long upper lid overlaps the lower lid when the eyes are closed. To date, congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome has been described in the literature less than 10 times. We present a case of congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome in a patient with trisomy 21 and tetralogy of Fallot on a prostaglandin E infusion to maintain a patent ductus arteriosus prior to definitive heart surgery. While on the infusion, the patient developed peripheral edema and flushing due to vasodilation. This coincided with eyelid swelling, conjunctival chemosis, and eversion of the eyelids. Upon cessation of the prostaglandin E1 infusion, his eyelid eversion resolved.

Abstract
A 6-hour newborn boy presented with bilateral overriding of the upper eyelids during sleep and spontaneous eyelid eversion. Physical examination revealed canthal tendon laxity and hyperemia of the tarsal conjunctiva of both eyes. A diagnosis of congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome (CEIS) was established. The cornea and remaining adnexal structures were healthy; therefore, conservative management with lubricant ointment was initiated. On day 4, complete resolution of upper eyelid overriding and absence of spontaneous eversion was observed. CEIS is a rare eyelid malposition disorder in which the upper eyelid overrides the lower. Most CEIS cases described in the literature present at birth, occur in Asian patients, are associated with floppy eyelid, and resolve spontaneously. The authors present the first report of CEIS in a Hispanic newborn and a literature review of previously reported cases.

Abstract
A newborn male with cat eye syndrome presented with progressively worsening bilateral upper eyelid imbrication, floppy eyelids, and ptosis. Despite conservative management, he remained unable to open his eyelids. Surgical correction was planned to prevent bilateral sensory deprivation amblyopia and was delayed until 5 months of age due to systemic health concerns. Bilateral full-thickness wedge excision and frontalis suspension with silicone rods in a double rhomboid fashion was performed. Postoperatively, the patient demonstrated spontaneous eyelid opening, resolution of spastic eversion of the upper eyelids, and adequate eyelid closure. The authors present the first case of concurrent floppy eyelid syndrome and upper eyelid imbrication reported in a cat eye syndrome patient.

Abstract
We report two healthy Saudi newborns with congenital bilateral upper lid eversion evolving with good outcome using conservative treatment. The current literature including epidemiology, clinical characteristics, possible etiologic factors, and treatment was reviewed.

Abstract
In congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome, a rare condition, the upper eyelids override the lower lids. It has been described in the literature either as an isolated entity or associated with floppy eyelid syndrome. We report the case of a 2-month-old with congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome associated with complex microphthalmos in the same eye and persistent fetal vasculature in the other eye, with no other systemic abnormality. The eyelid condition improved spontaneously over a period of 2 months. The persistent fetal vasculature was managed surgically with lensectomy and vitrectomy followed by visual rehabilitation.

Abstract
Congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome (CEIS) is an extremely rare, benign, transient, self-limiting eyelid malposition disorder. The classic triad of signs in patients with a CEIS consists of bilateral upper eyelids overriding the lower eyelids when child was in sleep, bilateral medial and lateral canthal tendon laxity and tarsal conjunctival hyperemia. We report a third case of congenital combined eyelid imbrication and floppy eyelid syndrome in healthy neonate that was resolved within a week with conservative treatment.

Abstract
Eyelid imbrication syndrome is an idiopathic acquired eyelid disorder characterized by upper eyelids overriding the lower eyelids. Congenital eyelid imbrications syndrome is extremely rare and thorough review of literature revealed only two previously reported cases and one congenital combined eyelid imbrications and floppy eyelid syndrome. We report a third case of bilateral asymmetric congenital eyelid imbrication syndrome and a second case of congenital combined eyelid imbrication and floppy eyelid syndrome that resolved with conservative treatment.
