Abstract
The new path chosen is more appropriate in the context of green chemistry. This research aims to construct 5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalene-1,3-dicarbonitrile (THNDC) and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-6,8-dicarbonitrile (THIDC) derivatives via the cyclization of three easily obtainable reactants under an environmentally benign mortar and pestle grinding technique. Notably, the robust route offers an esteemed opportunity for the introduction of multi-substituted benzenes and ensures the good compatibility of bioactive molecules. Furthermore, the synthesized compounds are investigated using docking simulations with two representative drugs (6c and 6e) for target validation. The physicochemical, pharmacokinetic, drug-like properties (ADMET), and therapeutic friendliness characteristics of these synthesized compounds are computed.

Abstract
In this work, the photocatalytic efficiency of Cu(ii)-vitamin C complex immobilized on titanium dioxide nanoparticles was exploited in the photo-assisted homocoupling reaction of aryl boronic acids under heterogeneous conditions. The homocoupling reaction affords the corresponding symmetrical biaryls in 50-97% yields at ambient temperature in the air under visible light irradiation without any need for any additive such as base or oxidant. This method tolerates various substituents on the aryl boronic acids such as halogen, carbonyl, and a nitro group. The light-dependent photocatalytic performance of the title catalyst evaluated by action spectra revealed a maximum apparent quantum efficiency (AQYs) at 410 nm demonstrating the visible-light-driven photocatalytic reaction. The as-prepared nano biophotocatalyst proved to be reusable at least six times without losing its activity. Thus this work exhibits a favorable method from the environmental and economic point of view which enables the industrially important reactions such as coupling reactions, to be carried out efficiently under photocatalytic and practically attainable conditions.

Abstract
Background:
A green, recyclable and reusable chitosan catalyst has been utilized for the
synthesis of 5-amino-2,3-dihydrobenzo[d]thiazole-4,6-dicarbonitrile and its derivatives.
Methods and Results:
Three-component reaction protocol incorporates the reaction of aldehydes,
malononitrile and rhodanine derivatives. This is examined as an efficient route for the synthesis of
dicarbonitriles utilizing a green, biodegradable, environmentally benign, and easily available chitosan
catalyst. In the reported protocol, catalyst can be recycled and not any substantial dropping in its catalytic
activity during the recycling steps was obtained.
Conclusion:
A green and environmentally benign, one pot three-component protocol has been
illustrated for the synthesis of 5-amino-2,3-dihydrobenzo[d]thiazole-4,6-dicarbonitrile derivatives.
Adequately yield products were gained via the natural catalytic approach with the recyclability of the
catalyst. The use of chitosan represents this procedure as an attractive substitute for the synthesis of
biaryls complex by multicomponent reaction condition.

Abstract
The dihedral angle between the planes of the two aromatic rings of the title compound, C16H13N3S, is 56.7 (3)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into chains along [11].

Abstract
Two series of novel ether phospholipids (EPs) have been synthesized. The first includes cyclodecylidene- or cyclopentadecylidene-substituted EPs carrying N,N,N-trimethylammonium or N-methylpiperidino or N-methylmorpholino head groups. The second series encompasses more rigid head groups in combination with cycloalkylidene moieties in the lipid portion. In addition, hydrogenated derivatives were obtained. All the new analogues, except 33, were 1.5- to 62-fold more potent than miltefosine against the intracellular L. infantum, and the most active ones were also less cytotoxic against the human monocytic cell line THP1 and less hemolytic than miltefosine. The analogues that combine high potency with low cytotoxicity and hemolytic activity were 19, 37, 21 23, 38, 39, and 40. Cyclopentadecylpentylphosphocholine (38) possesses an IC50 of 0.7 microM against L. infantum amastigotes and is the least cytotoxic analogue, since it does not present toxicity against THP1 macrophages, even at a concentration that is 800-fold the antiparasitic IC50 value, and does not present significant hemolytic activity.
