Abstract
In this paper, we present the third harmonic generation response of Znq2 (Bis-(8-hydroxyquinolinato)zinc), Cuq2 (8-Hydroxyquinoline copper(II)), and Alq3 (Tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum) organometallic compounds. An experiment was conducted for s and p polarizations of incident beam, using the Maker fringes technique. The third order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) was estimated using the Kubodera and Kobayashi comparative model, on the grounds that presented compounds exhibit high linear absorption of the generated third harmonic wavelength (355 nm). These complexes were deposited as thin films using the physical vapor deposition (PVD) method. Investigated complexes vary in terms of the coordination center and number of quinoline ligands, which visibly influence their nonlinear response. The global hybrid B3LYP functional with the basis set 6-31G(d) was used in computing the linear and non-linear optical properties. The computed γtot value (8765.36 × 10−36 esu for Cuq2) is superior to that of methylene blue (γ = 32.00 × 10−36 esu). The calculated theoretical values were found to be in good agreement with the experimental results.

Abstract
The synthesis of 4-aza-niumyl-2,2,6,6-tetra-methyl-piperidin-1-ium diperchlorate, C9H22N22+·2ClO4-, was carried out from an aqueous reaction of perchloric acid with 4-amino-2,2,6,6-tetra-methyl-piperidine. This compound was characterized by TGA-DSC analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The piperidine ring of the dication adopts a chair conformation and the orientation of the C-NH3 bond is equatorial. One of the two crystallographically independent perchlorate anions exhibits disorder [occupancies 0.625 (7) and 0.375 (7)]. The crystal packing is constituted by a succession of mixed layers parallel to the (-102) plane, made up of C9H22N22+ dications and ClO4- anions. These ions are linked by normal and bifurcated N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds with R44(12) graph-set motifs, generating a two-dimensional network. The inter-molecular inter-actions in the crystal structure were qu-anti-fied and analysed using Hirshfeld surface analysis.

Abstract
The asymmetric unit of the title hybrid compound, (C9H8N)[FeCl4]Cl, comprises a tetrahedral tetrachloridoferrate(III) anion, [FeCl4]−, a Cl− anion and two quinolinium cations. There are N—H⋯Cl hydrogen-bonding interactions between the protonated N atoms of the quinolinium cations and the chloride anion, which together with π–π stacking between adjacent quinolinium rings [centroid-to-centroid distances between C6 and C5N rings in adjacent stacked quinolinium cations of 3.609 (2) and 3.802 (2) Å] serve to hold the structure together.

Abstract
Pyridine-1-ium-2-carboxylatehydrogenbromide (PHBr) crystal was grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation method. The calculated lattice parameters of single crystal X-ray diffraction have shown the triclinic crystal system with centrosymmetric space group of Pī. The interaction of functional groups and their importance in their application was identified by FTIR spectral analysis. The material is optically transparent and the grown crystal is having lower cut off wavelength as 294nm, thereby confirming the enhancement of non-linear optical (NLO) property and optical band gap of the PHBr have been determined as 2.49eV by UV-Vis-NIR studies. The (1)H NMR spectrum confirms the molecular structure and the presence of different kinds of protons.
