Creating a bias-free dataset with food delivery app reviews under data poisoning attack

In online food delivery apps, customers write reviews to reflect their experiences. However, certain restaurants use a "review event" strategy to solicit favorable reviews from customers and boost their revenue. Review event is a marketing strategy where a restaurant owner gives free services to customers in return for a promise to write a review. Nevertheless, current datasets of app reviews for food delivery services neglect this situation. Furthermore, there appears to be an absence of datasets with reviews written in Korean. To solve this gap, this paper presents a dataset that contains reviews obtained from restaurants on a Korean app which use a review event strategy. A total of 128,668 reviews were gathered from 136 restaurants through crawling reviews using the Selenium library in Python. The dataset consists of detailed information of each review which contains information about ordered dishes, each review's written time, whether the food image is included in the review or not, and various star ratings such as total, taste, quantity, and delivery ratings. This dataset supports an innovative process of preparing AI training data for achieving fairness AI by proposing a bias-free dataset of food delivery app reviews with data poisoning attacks as an example.Additionally, the dataset is beneficial for researchers who are examining review events or analyzing the sentiment of food delivery app reviews.

A comprehensive dataset for sentiment and emotion classification from Bangladesh e-commerce reviews

In the rapidly evolving domain of e-commerce, analyzing customer feedback through reviews is crucial, particularly for understanding and enhancing consumer experience in the Bangladeshi market. Our comprehensive dataset, derived from two Bangladeshi e-commerce platforms, Daraz and Pickaboo, features a diverse collection of reviews in both Bengali and English, covering a broad range of products. These reviews are not only rich in linguistic variety but also encapsulate a spectrum of emotions, some even conveyed through emojis, offering a deep dive into consumer sentiment. Expert annotators have meticulously examined and categorized each review, classifying emotions into five distinct types - Happiness, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Love - and sentiments into Positive (Happiness, Love) and Negative (Sadness, Anger, Fear) categories. This level of detailed annotation enables precise assessments of customer emotions and preferences, which are essential for evaluating and improving existing product offerings. Moreover, the insights gleaned from this dataset are invaluable for guiding future product development and uncovering new opportunities in the dynamic Bangladeshi market. Ultimately, this dataset not only serves as a significant resource for sentiment analysis using natural language processing (NLP) techniques but also contributes valuable insights into the unique consumer behavior patterns in Bangladesh, enriching the NLP community's understanding of diverse market dynamics.

A tourism dataset from historical transaction for recommender systems

The tourism industry has currently grown in various aspects, including the types of attractions, their quantity, and the number of tourist visits in various regions, contributing positively to both regional and global economies. Historical transactions are essential for developing recommender systems, utilizing techniques such as Collaborative Filtering and Demographic Filtering. TripAdvisor is a reputable website providing a wide range of accessible tourism information, including attractions, user profiles, and ratings. However, this unstructured raw data requires processing to create an adequate dataset for recommender systems. This study conducted a series of data processing steps on the raw data, including data restructuring, validation, content addition, integration with Google Maps, normalization, and modeling. This study successfully produced an original dataset comprising User Transaction, Item or Attraction, Attraction Type, Continent, Region, Country, City, and Visiting Mode. It also includes an entity relational model for tourism in Indonesia, particularly in Bali, Malang, and Yogyakarta regions, based on various global user experiences. This dataset is adequate and essential for developing various models of tourism recommender systems such as using Collaborative Filtering.

Dataset construction to detect human behavior with the help of emotions, sentiments and mood for Roman Urdu

Roman Urdu and English are often used together as a hybrid language for communication on social media. Because writers don't worry about spelling when utilizing the English alphabet to write Urdu during texting, it becomes challenging to interpret mixed codes for emotions. There are over 14,000 emotion lexicons in this dataset, each of which lists nine different emotions and their polarities. The NRC emotion lexicons [8] provided in Urdu have been transliterated into Roman Urdu. To verify that the provided translation is accurate, we used three online dictionaries of Urdu. A Python script that transliterates words from Urdu to Roman Urdu has been used to develop Roman Urdu transliteration. Sentiment and mood, depending on the emotion lexicon, are also provided. The textual data has been annotated using the unigram feature and distance estimation among strings and lexicons. Approximately 10,000 sentences from the baseline sample have been automatically annotated.

Recognizing emotions is vital in communication. Emotions convey additional meanings to the communication process. Nowadays, people can communicate their emotions on many platforms; one is the product review. Product reviews in the online platform are an important element that affects customers' buying decisions. Hence, it is essential to recognize emotions from the product reviews. Emotions recognition from the product reviews can be done automatically using a machine or deep learning algorithm. Dataset can be considered as the fuel to model the recognizer. However, only a limited dataset exists in recognizing emotions from the product reviews, particularly in a local language. This research contributes to the dataset collection of 5400 product reviews in Indonesian. It was carefully curated from various (29) product categories, annotated with five emotions, and verified by an expert in clinical psychology. The dataset supports an innovative process to build automatic emotion classification on product reviews.
