Abstract
Asymmetric Configuration (As-Co) in the electrochemical noise (EN) was used to evaluate Ranunculus Arvensis / silver nanoparticles (RA/Ag NPs) as corrosion inhibitor for aluminum alloy (AA 2030) when gets exposed to 3.5% NaCl media. The ECN results of Asymmetric Configuration (As-Co) and Symmetric Configuration (Sy-Co) were interpreted using wavelet and statistical methods. The standard deviation of partial signal (SDPS) plots derived using of wavelet. The SDPS plot of As-Co demonstrated that the quantity of electric charge (Q) decreased with the addition of the inhibitor up to the optimum amount (200 ppm) due to the decreased corrosion rate. Moreover, the use of As- Co leads to record signal of one electrode and prevent recording extra signals arising from two identical electrodes which confirmed by the statistical parameters. The As-Co made of Al alloys were more satisfactory for estimating inhibiting effect of RA/Ag NPs compared to Sy-Co. Besides, aqueous extract of Ranunculus Arvensis (RA) plant as reducing agent mediates the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (RA/Ag NPs). The prepared NPs have been elaborately characterized using Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis, and Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) that revealed suitable synthesize of the RA/Ag NPs.

Abstract
The current study includes a systematic examination of copper corrosion initially in each of NaCl and Na2SO4 solutions separately and then in the mixture solution of Cl− and SO42− ions as aggressive ions. Electrochemical current noise (ECN) signals resulting from asymmetric (Asy) as well as symmetric (Sym) cells have been interpreted using wavelet transform (WT) along with statistical procedures. The signals have been detrended and the decomposition of every signal has been carried out into 8 crystals. Then the standard deviation of every crystal has been illustrated with the standard deviation of partial signal (SDPS) plots. The Asy electrodes increased the pitting detection on copper compared with the Sym ones, indicating higher efficiency of the Asy electrodes. Asymmetric-copper electrodes have been studied using SDPS plots at different temperatures (40, 60, as well as 80 °C). Finally, in order to partly understand the effect of Cl− and SO42− ions on the corrosion of copper, the stabilization of Cu2+ cations by Cl− and SO42− ions in aqueous solutions have been modeled by DFT calculations. The derived results are in accordance with the experimental data.

Abstract
Titanium alloys have been used in aerospace, aeronautic, automotive, biomedical, structural, and other applications because titanium alloys have less density than materials like steel and support higher stress than Al-alloys. However, components made of titanium alloys are exposed to corrosive environments, the most common being industrial and marine atmospheres. This research shows the corrosion behavior of three titanium alloys, specifically Ti-CP2, Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, and Ti-6Al-4V with α, near α, and α + β alloys phases. Alloys were exposed in two electrolytes to a 3.5 wt. % H2SO4 and NaCl solution at room temperature, and their electrochemical behavior was studied by electrochemical noise technique (EN) according to ASTM ASTM-G199 standard. EN signal was filtered by three different methods, and the polynomial method was employed to obtain Rn, kurtosis, skew, and the potential spectral density analysis (PSD). The wavelets method was used, from which energy dispersion plots were obtained. The last method was Hilbert–Huang Transform (HHT), where Hilbert Spectra were analyzed. Results indicated that Rn compared with PSD showed that Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo presented less dissolution in both electrolytes. Statistical methods showed that the passive layer created on Ti alloys’ surfaces is unstable; this condition is notable for Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo in NaCl solution.

Abstract
An electrochemical noise technique has been applied to describe the corrosion process of copper. The results show that the sampling frequency clearly changes both the energy distribution plot and the power spectral density spectra, which should be taken into consideration strictly and logically before an electrochemical noise test. The corrosion energy, (Ec), deduced using the fast wavelet transform method showed a similar variation trend with corrosion rate. Hence, the proposed parameter Ec represents the corrosion rate or severity. Sampling frequency clearly changes EDP and PSD spectra and EN corrosion energy shows a similar variation trend with corrosion rate.![]()

Abstract
Backgrounds and aims: The aims of this study were to establish antibiotic profile and the molecular epidemiology of Acinetobacter baumannii isolates, with considering the effectiveness of control infection measures across three hospitals in the Kurdistan, west part of Iran. Methods: Fifty-four A. baumannii isolates were collected from patients and environmental specimens. Antibiotic susceptibility patterns (Antibio-type) were evaluated for 17 different antibiotics and MIC for imipenem was done. Isolates were assessed for the presence of metallo-beta-lactamases (MBLs), class 1 and 2 integrons, and integrated gene cassettes and blaOXA-like family genes. Repetitive-sequence-based PCR (REP-PCR) was done for analysing clonality and relativeness of isolates (REP-type). Results: Antibiotic susceptibility patterns distinguished 11 distinct Antibio-types and REP-PCR showed three clusters with 20 subclusters, mostly belonged to two clonal subgroups, A1 and B1. blaOXA-51 and blaOXA-23 were detected in 100% (54/54) and 52% (28/54), respectively, while blaOXA-24-like and blaOXA-58 were not present in isolates. MBLs were not detected, but, however, high rate of imipenem resistance was observed (52%). MIC90 of imipenem was 16 μg/ml. Class 1 integrons were detected in 11% (6/54) of isolates followed by 24% (13/54) of class 2. Both classes of integron genes were detected in 15% (8/54) of isolates. Integrated gene cassettes were in low level (11% of class 1 harboring isolates). Two arrays of gene cassettes were revealed, dfrA5-like and dfrA17-aadA5. Conclusion: Infection control surveillance should be considered as a serious manner, even the superficial eradication of hospital acquired pathogens. MBL genes were not induced carbapenem resistance in studied hospital settings, but blaOXA-51 & 23 contributed in imipenem resistant. Integrons had a little share in resistance of A. baumannii isolates.
