Abstract
The utilization of the density functional theory (DFT) methodology has developed as a highly efficient method for investigating molecular structure and vibrational spectra, and it is increasingly being employed in various applications relating to biological systems. This study focuses on conducting investigations, both experimental and computed, to analyze the molecular structure, electronic properties and features of (E)-4-(((9H-purin-6-yl)imino)methyl)-2-methoxyphenol (ANVA). The expression ANVA should be rewritten as follows: the compound is a derivative of adenine (primary amine), specifically a vanillin (aldehyde). The present study reports the synthesis, characterization, DFT, docking and antimicrobial activity of ANVA. The optimization of the molecular structure was conducted, and the determination of its structural features was performed using DFT with the B3LYP/cc-pVDZ method. The vibrational assignments were determined in detail by analyzing the potential energy distribution. A strong correlation was observed between the spectra that were observed and the spectra that were calculated. The calculation of intramolecular charge transfer was performed using natural bond orbital analysis. In addition, several computational methods were employed, including highest occupied molecular orbital-least unoccupied molecular orbital analysis, molecular electrostatic potential calculations, non-linear optical, reduced density gradient, localization orbital locator and electron localization function analysis. This paper examines the present use of adenine derivatives in combatting bacterial and fungal infections, as well as the inclusion of spectral and quantum chemical calculations in the discussion.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. Abstract
In this work, 11H-indeno[1,2-b]quinoxalin-11-one (IQ), 7-nitro-11H-indeno[1,2-b]quinoxalin-11-one (NIQ), and 7-chloro-11H-indeno[1,2-b]quinoxalin-11-one (CIQ) as indenoquinoxalines (IQPs) and 7-nitro-2'-(4-nitrophenyl)-5',6',7',7a'-tetrahydrospiro[indeno[1,2-b]quinoxaline-11,3'-pyrrolizine]-1',1'(2'H)-dicarbonitrile (SIQPNO2) spiroheterocyclics were synthesized. These molecules photocatalytically reduced methylene blue (MB), methyl orange (MO), brilliant blue R (BBR), and Rhodamine B (RhB) in aqueous acetonitrile (aq-ACN) under sunlight (SL) for the first time. The IQPs and SIQPNO2 with a lanthanide graphene oxide template (LGT) of lanthanide sulfide nanorods (Ln2S3, Ce2S3, Tb2S3, and Ho2S3) photocatalytically reduced the dyes. IQ alone reduced MB in ∼2 min, while with LaGT, CeGT, TbGT, and HoGT in 7, 10, 11, and 13 min, respectively. NIQ and CIQ alone photocatalytically reduced MB in 18 and 32 min, while with LaGT, CeGT, TbGT, and HoGT in 18, 31, 23, and 28 min and 33, 55, 45, and 51 min, respectively. IQ with CO2 photocatalytically reduced MB and QHIn in 90 s and 17 min unlike 2 and 24 min without CO2, respectively. SIQPNO2 alone reduced MB in 190 min, while with CeGT, TbGT, HoGT, and LaGT in 242, 225, 197, and 88 min, respectively. IQ with LaGT photocatalytically reduced MB in 7 min, while SIQPNO2 with LaGT in 88 min. IQ received maximum photon (hv) producing robust redox cycles (ROCs) compared to SIQPNO2. SIQPI, SIQPII, SIQPIII, and SIQPNO2 (SIQPs) individually reduced MB in 95, 43, 54, and 190 min, while SIQPs with NIQ in 63, 35, 47, and 64 min, respectively. IQ with Fe scrap in ACN developed a single crystal in 2 weeks, while in 2 : 8, 3 : 7, 5 : 5, 7 : 3, and 8 : 2 aq-ACN media, the magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) developed at normal temperature and pressure (NTP).

Abstract
The newly synthesized imidazole derivative namely, 4,5-bis[(E)-2-phenylethenyl]-1H,1'H-2,2'-biimidazole (KA1), was studied for its molecular geometry, docking studies, spectral analysis and density functional theory (DFT) studies. Experimental vibrational frequencies were compared with scaled ones. The reactivity sites were determined using average localized ionization analysis (ALIE), electron localized function (ELF), localized orbital locator (LOL), reduced density gradient (RDG), Fukui functions and frontier molecular orbital (FMO). Due to the solvent effect, a lower gas phase energy gap was observed. Through utilization of the noncovalent interaction (NCI) method, the hydrogen bond interaction, steric effect and Vander Walls interaction were investigated. Molecular docking simulations were employed to determine the specific atom inside the molecules that exhibits a preference for binding with protein. The parameters for the molecular electrostatic potential (MESP) and global reactivity descriptors were also determined. The thermodynamic characteristics were determined through calculations employing the B3LYP/cc-pVDZ basis set. Antimicrobial activity was carried out using the five different microorganisms like Escherichia coli, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Candida albicans.

Abstract
The novel Schiff's base (CS6) was synthesized and confirmed by various studies. The B3LYP/cc-pVDZ basis set was used for theoretical study and the results indicated that both the theoretical and experimental studies correlated well. The interaction energy of CS6-water complex calculated by using the local energy decomposition analysis was found to be -7.28 kcal/mol. The TD-TFT method was used for the calculation of electronic absorption spectrum. This study confirmed that the observed wavelength and the simulated wavelength in the electronic spectra were almost similar. The electrophilic and nucleophilic attacking sites of the titled compound were identified by using FMO and MEP studies. The highest stabilization energy (30.19 kcal/mol) formed by LP (2) O24 to anti-bonding σ*(C18-C19) was confirmed by the NBO study. The localized and delocalized electrons were confirmed by ELF and LOL studies. The hydrogen bond interaction as well as the physical and chemical properties of CS6 indicated that it showed a moderate similarity to the drugs. The docking study confirmed that the dehydro-L-gulonate decarboxylase inhibitor (1Q6O) could interact with CS6 compound with the binding energy of -5.26 kcal/mol.

Abstract
The (E)-4-((4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-nitrobenzylidene) amino) pyrimidin-2(1H)-one (C5NV) was synthesized from cytosine and 5-nitrovanilline by simple straightforward condensation reaction. The structural characteristics of the compound was determined and optimized by WB97XD/cc-pVDZ basis set. The vibrational frequencies were computed and subsequently compared to the experimental frequencies. We investiated the electronic properties of the synthesized compound in gas and solvent phases using the time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) approach, and compared them to experimental values. The fluorescence study showed three different wavelengths indicating the nature of the optical material properties. Frontier molecular orbital (FMO) and molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) analyses were conducted for the title compound, and electron localized functions (ELF) and localized orbital locators (LOL) were used to identify the orbital positions of localized and delocalized atoms. Non-covalent interactions (H-bond interactions) were investigated using reduced density gradients (RDGs). The objective of the study was to determine the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the C5NV. The molecular docking study was conducted between C5NV and 2XNF protein, its lowest binding energy score is -7.92 kcal/mol.

Abstract
This study is based on the premise of investigating antibacterial activity through a novel conjugate of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) in line with a green synthesis approach by developing antimicrobial-coated implants to prevent bacterial resistance. The AMPs were obtained from Bellamya Bengalensis (BB), a freshwater snail, to prepare the nanocomposite conjugate, e.g., AgNPs@BB extract, by making use of UV-Visible spectroscopy. The antimicrobial assessment of AgNPs@BB extract conjugate was performed using the Resazurin Microtiter Assay Method (REMA), followed by the use of three biocompatible implant materials (titanium alloys, Ti 6AL-4V stainless steel 316L, and polyethylene). Finally, the coating was analyzed under confocal microscopy. The results revealed a significant reduction of biofilm formation on the surfaces of implants coated with conjugate (AgNPs@BB extract) in comparison to uncoated implants. For the MTT assay, no significant changes were recorded for the cells grown on the AgNPs/AMP++ sample in high concentrations. Staphylococcus epidermidis, however, showed more prominent growth on all implants in comparison to Staphylococcus aureus. It is evident from the results that Staphylococcus epidermidis is more susceptible to AgNPs@BB extract, while the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value of AgNPs@BB extract conjugates and biosynthesized AgNPs was also on the higher side. This study indicates that AgNPs@BB extract carries antibacterial activity, and concludes that an excessive concentration of AgNPs@BB extract may affect the improved biocompatibility. This study recommends using robust, retentive, and antimicrobial coatings of AgNPs@BB extract for implantable biocompatible materials in accordance with the novel strategy of biomaterial applications.
