Abstract
The accurate and expeditious detection of minute biomolecules within human body fluids holds paramount significance in the advancement of novel electrode materials. In this research, a novel non-enzyme electrochemical sensor was constructed. It was founded on Au@Ni-MOF (Ni(CH3CO2)2) hybrids, with Ni(II) (nickel acetate) serving as the precursor. Specifically, [Ni3(BTC)2]n (H3BTC = 1,3,5-trimesic acid) featuring coordinatively unsaturated Ni(II) sites and decorated with gold nanoparticles was synthesized via an in-situ growth methodology. The Au@Ni-MOF hybrids exhibit outstanding electrochemical and electrocatalytic characteristics, attributable to the meticulous assembly of AuNPs and Ni-MOF. The Au@Ni-MOF (Ni(CH3CO2)2)/SPCE was fabricated onto the surface of the screen-printed electrode (SPCE). Subsequently, its electrochemical performance was probed for the discrete and concurrent quantification of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) in 0.01 M phosphate-buffered saline through differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Notably, the cathodic peak current manifested a linear correlation with the DA and UA concentrations across an extensive range, spanning from 0.1 µM to 2 mM for DA and from 0.5 µM to 1.5 mM for UA, respectively. This sensor is applicable in non-enzyme sensing of DA and UA. Additionally, the adsorption energy and bond length of the 2D structures of Ni-MOF and Au@Ni-MOF (Ni(CH3CO2)2) were ascertained via DFT simulations, thereby affording valuable insights into the interaction mechanisms between biomolecules and the surfaces of these 2D structures.

Abstract
Embelin was isolated from the chloroform extract of Embelia ribes (Burm.f.) fruits; its derivative compounds 6-bromoembelin and vilangin were prepared, and they were evaluated for mosquitocidal activities against the third instar larvae and pupae of Aedes aegypti L. and Culex quinquefasciatus Say. (Diptera: Culicidae). The concentrations used were 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 ppm. Embelin recorded LC50 values of 5.79 and 5.54 ppm against the larvae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus, respectively. Similarly, the LC50 values of embelin were 10.23 and 6.93 ppm against the pupae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus, respectively. Of the two derivatives tested, vilangin showed the highest larvicidal activity with LC50 values of 1.38 and 1.28 ppm against the larvae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus, respectively. Similarly, the LC50 values of vilangin were 1.60 and 1.43 ppm against the pupae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus, respectively. The LC50 values of 6-bromoembelin were 3.30 and 2.83 ppm against the larvae and 4.40 and 4.30 ppm against the pupae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus, respectively. The histopathological results displayed significant damage on cuboidal cells of the midgut (CU) in vilangin treated larvae of Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus at a concentration of 2.0 ppm. Similarly, peritrophic membrane (PM) was completely impaired in vilangin-treated larvae of Cx. quinquefasciatus and midgut content (MC) was very low in vilangin-treated larvae of Cx. quinquefasciatus. In addition, molecular docking and molecular dynamics studies demonstrated the efficacy of vilangin on the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (AChE1) in Ae. aegypti and Cx. quinquefasciatus. The present results suggest that vilangin could be used to develop a natural active product against mosquito larvae.

Abstract
One-pot synthetic method was adopted to prepare three isomers 4-(ortho-fluorophenyl)thiosemi- carbazide), 4-(meta-fluorophenyl)thiosemicarbazide and 4-(para-fluorophenyl)thiosemicarbazide. The products were obtained in ethanolic solution from a reaction between ortho, meta and para derivatives of fluorophenyl isothiocyanate and hydrazine hydrate. This work presents the theoretical Molecular Electrostatic Potential (MEP) and Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital-Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital (HOMO-LUMO) computational data through Gaussview 5.0.9 and Gaussian09 software. Experimental Cole-cole plot for conductivity determination was also illustrated. The present data is important to manipulate the properties of compounds according to the position of a fluorine atom.

Abstract
AbstractThe titled compound 1,4-diazacycloheptane have vibrational freedom which allows it to coordinate to metal through 1st and 4th positions. Copper (II) and Nickel (II) complexes of DACH were prepared and characterized through UV-Visible, FT-IR, elemental analyses, conductance, and magnetic susceptibilities and compared to the results published in Inorg. Chem., 8(3), 528 (1969). The prepared complexes bearing different coordinating or non-coordinating anions were screened against four different pathogenic bacterial strains to study anionic effect on antibacterial activity. The MIC values of all the compounds suggest that [Cu(DACH)2Br2] is almost inactive against the tested microbes except Staph aureus. Rest of the metal complexes are active at their respective MIC values.

Abstract
New compound, namely (Z)-1-[4-(trifluoromethyl)benzylidene]thiosemicarbazide was successfully synthesized using thiosemicarbazide with 4-(trifluoromethyl)-benzaldehyde in ethanol solution. The data presented in this articles is related to our research articles entitled “Crystal Structure of (Z)-1-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)benzylidene]thiosemicarbazide” (Osman et al., 2017) [1]. This work shows the continue data from experimental spectroscopic measurement which are Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (13C NMR). Assessment on the correlation with theoretical computational data was also carried out through GaussView 5.0.9 and Gaussian09 software. Molecular Electrostatic Potential (MEP) and Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital–Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital (HOMO-LUMO) were also illustrated.
