Abstract
A range of morphologically distinct metallosupramolecular Cu(II) and Pd(II) complexes has been constructed, based on the tritopic ligand 1,1',1″-(benzene-1,3,5-triyl)tris(4,4-dimethylpentane-1,3-dione) (H3L). By control of the reaction conditions, it is possible to generate distinct coordination assemblies possessing either macrocyclic or polymeric structures and more importantly distinct activity in catalysis of the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling.

Abstract
A straightforward method has been developed for the synthesis of the benzimidazole ring system through a carbon-nitrogen cross-coupling reaction. In the presence of 2.0 equiv. of K2CO3 in water at 100 °C for 30 h, the intramolecular cyclization of N-(2-iodoaryl)benzamidine provides benzimidazole derivatives in moderate to high yields. Remarkably, the procedure occurs exclusively in water and doesn’t require the use of any additional reagent/catalyst, rendering the methodology highly valuable from both environmental and economical points of view.

Abstract
In the title salt, C18H19N4O+·PF6−, the dihedral angle between the benzimidazolium and benzimidazole ring systems is 16.24 (2)°. In the cation, a π–π interaction is observed between the imidazolium ring and the benzene ring of the benzimidazole ring system [centroid–centroid distance = 3.5713 (11) Å]. The PF6− ion is disordered over two sites, with occupancies of 0.895 (2) and 0.105 (2). In the crystal structure, pairs of N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the cations, forming centrosymmetric dimers. The dimers are linked via π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distance = 3.5606 (11) Å]. In addition, C—H⋯F hydrogen bonds are observed.

Abstract
AbstractDiflunisal and Felbinac, two FDA-approved NSAIDs and other biphenyl carboxylic acids were prepared in one step by a simple and clean Suzuki cross-coupling reaction using an easily synthesized, air and moisture stable, palladium-diamine complex. The yield (93%) for the one-step preparation of Diflunisal is the best reported without using a glovebox and a phoshine-based catalyst.
