Abstract
This study explored the interaction between the herbicidal pollutant alachlor and the Au16 nanocluster employing density functional theory (DFT) described by the functional M062X and basis set SDD. The adsorption energy of alachlor on the Au16 cluster is negative, signifying a strong interaction between the herbicide and the Au cluster. The molecular structures, HOMO-LUMO energies, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP), non-covalent interactions (NCI), and reduced density gradient (RDG) scatter plots were analyzed in detail. NCI analysis suggests van der Waals forces, strong attractive, and repulsive steric interactions in the studied complex. Mulliken charge analysis revealed changes in the atomic charges of alachlor upon interaction with the Au16 nanocluster whereas quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) analysis unraveled the nature of intermolecular interactions. Electron delocalization in the cluster complex was detected using average local ionization energy (ALIE), electron localization function (ELF), and localized orbital locator (LOL) calculations. The Raman spectrum shows enhanced wavenumbers for various functional groups, indicating the potential for developing Au16 nanosensors for alachlor detection using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS).

Abstract
New drugs being established in the market every year produce specified structures for selective biological targeting. With medicinal insights into molecular recognition, these begot molecules open new rooms for designing potential new drug molecules. In this review, we report the compilation and analysis of a total of 56 drugs including 33 organic small molecules (Mobocertinib, Infigratinib, Sotorasib, Trilaciclib, Umbralisib, Tepotinib, Relugolix, Pralsetinib, Decitabine, Ripretinib, Selpercatinib, Capmatinib, Pemigatinib, Tucatinib, Selumetinib, Tazemetostat, Avapritinib, Zanubrutinib, Entrectinib, Pexidartinib, Darolutamide, Selinexor, Alpelisib, Erdafitinib, Gilteritinib, Larotrectinib, Glasdegib, Lorlatinib, Talazoparib, Dacomitinib, Duvelisib, Ivosidenib, Apalutamide), 6 metal complexes (Edotreotide Gallium Ga-68, fluoroestradiol F-18, Cu 64 dotatate, Gallium 68 PSMA-11, Piflufolastat F-18, 177Lu (lutetium)), 16 macromolecules as monoclonal antibody conjugates (Brentuximabvedotin, Amivantamab-vmjw, Loncastuximabtesirine, Dostarlimab, Margetuximab, Naxitamab, Belantamabmafodotin, Tafasitamab, Inebilizumab, SacituzumabGovitecan, Isatuximab, Trastuzumab, Enfortumabvedotin, Polatuzumab, Cemiplimab, Mogamulizumab) and 1 peptide enzyme (Erwiniachrysanthemi-derived asparaginase) approved by the U.S. FDA between 2018 to 2021. These drugs act as anticancer agents against various cancer types, especially non-small cell lung, lymphoma, breast, prostate, multiple myeloma, neuroendocrine tumor, cervical, bladder, cholangiocarcinoma, myeloid leukemia, gastrointestinal, neuroblastoma, thyroid, epithelioid and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. The review comprises the key structural features, approval times, target selectivity, mechanisms of action, therapeutic indication, formulations, and possible synthetic approaches of these approved drugs. These crucial details will benefit the scientific community for futuristic new developments in this arena.

Abstract
CONTEXT Theoretical investigation of indole (IND) and its binary combination with dichloromethane (DC) in various solvents were computed to track the impact of molecular interactions on spectral characteristics. When transitioning from plain drug to complexes, different modes of IND display a substantial shift in peak location. The 3561.26 cm-1 band shows (~15.58 cm-1) red shift upon dilution. The geometry in various solvents was calculated using quantum chemical calculation utilizing density functional theory (DFT). The highest ALIE values are located at the indole skeleton and on complexation with DC, and the ring atoms become more electron rich. The atom-centered density matrix propagation (ADMP) molecular dynamic (MD) calculation shows that the geometries optimized through the DFT calculation match the global minima effectively. MD simulations indicate that indole is more stable in water and methanol. METHODS DFT studies have been employed to study the interaction between indole and dichloromethane. CAM-B3LYP/6-311++G(d)(6D,7F) level of theory was employed using Gaussian 16 W suite. Quantum topological descriptors were discussed using quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) with the help of Multiwfn software. Reduced density gradient (RDG) plot describes the nature of the interaction, while average local ionization energy (ALIE) explained the variation in local ionization energy of the molecular surface before and after complexation.

Abstract
Tea is a very important source of the terepenoid [Formula: see text]-ionone, which is much appreciated as a medicinal beverage. Schiff bases are a very important class of organic compounds usually formed by the condensation of carbonyl compounds with amines. [Formula: see text]-ionone is a carbonyl terpenoid obtained from Schiff bases on condensation with nucleobases like adenine and cytosine and the amino acid [Formula: see text]-leucine. We synthesized these three Schiff bases and characterized them using UV, FTIR, and H1 and C13-NMR spectra. The molecules were optimized using B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p) level followed by the simulation of FT-IR spectra, of which the simulated and experimental spectra showed complete agreement. The UV spectra were simulated using TD-DFT, and the electronic excitations were carefully analyzed. Natural bond orbitals provided an analysis of the stability of the compound, which is supplemented by the data from frontier molecular orbital analysis. Detailed wavefunction analysis is reported which predicts the active centers, reactivity profile, and the extent of non-covalent interactions. PASS indicated that compounds show antieczemic properties and antiarthritic properties, which is confirmed with the help of molecular docking results.

Abstract
The present work explores the structural parameters and vibrational frequencies as well as molecular interactions of benzodiazepine derivatives, such as clothiapine (CT), clozapine (CZ), and loxapine (LX). Employing fitting experimental data to theoretical results is used to assess the structural parameters of heading composites. The main assignment is passed out according to the overall distribution of energy of the vibrational modes. From the hyper-conjugative interaction, the permanency of the structure had been predicted through natural bond orbital analysis; it is also used to identify the bonding and antibonding regions of the molecules. Moreover, electrostatic potential (ESP), density of states (DOS), and charge transfer occurring of the molecule among HOMO as well as LUMO energy were calculated and presented; utilizing electron localized field (ELF), localized orbital locator (LOL), and reduced density gradient (RDG), the chemical interactive regions are found. Additionally, mean polarizability (αtot), the first-order hyperpolarizability (βtot), and softness and hardness of the entitled compounds were also performed. The interaction between protein-ligand was also predicted by docking studies.
