Abstract
New azo Schiff base disperse dyes based on a chromene moiety were synthesized by reacting (2-amino-7-hydroxy-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4 H-chromene-3 carbonitrile) and(2-amino-4-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-7-hydroxy-4 H-chromene-3-carbonitrile), with vanillin and ninhydrin, producing new chromene Schiff base derivatives, which in turn were coupled with 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline diazonium salt to give new 4 azo disperse dyes (1-4). The structures of the prepared dyes were confirmed using elemental analysis, 1HNMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and IR. The synthesized dyes were applied to polyester and nylon fabrics using different dyeing techniques: high temperature- high pressure, and ultrasonic dyeing methods. The highest K/S values for all investigated dyes were achieved usinga high temperature-high pressure dyeing technique. Also, the color reflectance of all synthesized dyes with different dyeing shades (1%, 2%, and 3%) was obtained. The fastness properties of the dyed samples using the investigated dyes showed good color fastness toward light, washing, rubbing, and perspiration fastness. The presence of a chromene moiety and Schiff base in the investigated dyes promotes a higher antimicrobial activity on nylon and polyester fabrics against all tested bacteria (E. coli gram-negative and Staphylococcus aureus gram-positive) and two fungi, Aspergillus Niger and Candida albicans.

Abstract
In this research, we present a post-synthetic method for synthesizing a novel nanomagnetic Cu(II) Schiff base complex and investigate its efficiency in catalytic organic conversion reactions. Various spectroscopic analyses were employed to characterize the physiochemical characteristics of the resulting nanocomposite. The experimental results successfully demonstrate the catalytic application of the prepared Cu-complex in the preparation of pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole heterocycles. This synthesis involved a one-pot three-component condensation reaction, wherein hydrazine hydrate, ethyl acetoacetate, malononitrile, and aromatic aldehydes were combined under reflux conditions using water as the solvent. Notably, the heterogenized complex exhibited exceptional catalytic performance, achieving remarkable conversion rates and selectivity, all accomplished using only 12 mg of the catalyst. Furthermore, thorough stability assessments of this catalyst were conducted through reusability and hot filtration tests, which confirmed its non-leaching properties and demonstrated excellent results over the course of five consecutive runs.

Efficient synthesis of 3-alkyl-2-(-1H-1,2,3-triazolyl)methyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivative via multistep synthesis approach by novel Cu@Py-Oxa@SPION catalyst. BMC Chem 2023; 17:154. Abstract
In this pared, an efficient method is introduced for the synthesis of 3-alkyl-2-(((4-(2-oxopropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)alkyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives. These novel products have both 1,2,3-triazole and quinazolinone in their structures. For the synthesis of these products, a novel catalyst is designed, synthesized, and characterized by the immobilization of copper onto modified magnetic iron oxide. The catalyst (denoted: Cu@Py-Oxa@SPION) was characterized by several characterization techniques. In this regard, 16 3-alkyl-2-(((4-(2-oxopropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)alkyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives were synthesized in high isolated yields (77-86%). As an advantage, the catalyst is highly recoverable and its activity has not decreased after 7 sequential runs. The method is very efficient for the synthesis of the products in high isolated yields under mild reaction conditions in a green solvent. The scope of the method is broad and several examples were successfully synthesized using starting materials with different functional groups.
