Abstract
INTRODUCTION Choreiform movement disorders are characterized by involuntary, rapid, irregular, and unpredictable movements of the limbs, face, neck, and trunk. These movements often initially go unnoticed by the affected individuals and may blend together with seemingly intended, random motions. Choreiform movements can occur both at rest and during voluntary movements. They typically increase in intensity with stress and physical activity and essentially cease during deep sleep stages. In particularly in advanced stages of Huntington disease (HD), choreiform hyperkinesia occurs alongside with dystonic postures of the limbs or trunk before they typically decrease in intensity. The differential diagnosis of HD can be complex. Here, the authors aim to provide guidance for the diagnostic process. This guidance was prepared for the German Neurological Society (DGN) for German-speaking countries. RECOMMENDATIONS Hereditary (inherited) and non-hereditary (non-inherited) forms of chorea can be distinguished. Therefore, the family history is crucial. However, even in conditions with autosomal-dominant transmission such as HD, unremarkable family histories do not necessarily rule out a hereditary form (e.g., in cases of early deceased or unknown parents, uncertainties in familial relationships, as well as in offspring of parents with CAG repeats in the expandable range (27-35 CAG repeats) which may display expansions into the pathogenic range). CONCLUSIONS The differential diagnosis of chorea can be challenging. This guidance prepared for the German Neurological Society (DGN) reflects the state of the art as of 2023.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This article provides an overview of the imaging modalities used in the evaluation of central nervous system (CNS) autoimmune, paraneoplastic, and neuro-rheumatologic disorders. An approach is outlined for interpreting imaging findings in this context, synthesizing a differential diagnosis based on certain imaging patterns, and choosing further imaging for specific diseases. LATEST DEVELOPMENTS The rapid discovery of new neuronal and glial autoantibodies has revolutionized the autoimmune neurology field and has elucidated imaging patterns characteristic of certain antibody-associated diseases. Many CNS inflammatory diseases, however, lack a definitive biomarker. Clinicians should recognize neuroimaging patterns suggestive of inflammatory disorders, as well as the limitations of imaging. CT, MRI, and positron emission tomography (PET) modalities all play a role in diagnosing autoimmune, paraneoplastic, and neuro-rheumatologic disorders. Additional imaging modalities such as conventional angiography and ultrasonography can be helpful for further evaluation in select situations. ESSENTIAL POINTS Knowledge of imaging modalities, both structural and functional, is critical in identifying CNS inflammatory diseases quickly and can help avoid invasive testing such as brain biopsy in certain clinical scenarios. Recognizing imaging patterns suggestive of CNS inflammatory diseases can also facilitate the early initiation of appropriate treatments to diminish morbidity and future disability.

Abstract
Autoimmune encephalitis is a category of autoantibody-mediated neurological disorders that often presents a diagnostic challenge due to its variable clinical and imaging findings. The purpose of this image-based review is to provide an overview of the major subtypes of autoimmune encephalitis and their associated autoantibodies, discuss their characteristic clinical and imaging features, and highlight several disease processes that may mimic imaging findings of autoimmune encephalitis. A literature search on autoimmune encephalitis was performed and publications from neuroradiology, neurology, and nuclear medicine literature were included. Cases from our institutional database that best exemplify major imaging features were presented.

Abstract
We herein report a 76-year-old man who developed irritability and forgetfulness 5 months after the introduction of atezolizumab for the treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed lesions of the striatum, and an investigation of the serum revealed a high titer of anti-CRMP5 antibody. After stopping atezolizumab and starting steroid pulse therapy, these clinical features improved. Given these findings, it is considered that CRMP5-assciated striatal encephalitis was induced by atezolizumab in this case with SCLC.

Abstract
The basal ganglia and thalami are paired deep grey matter structures with extensive metabolic activity that renders them susceptible to injury by various diseases. Most pathological processes lead to bilateral lesions, which may be symmetric or asymmetric, frequently showing characteristic patterns on imaging studies. In this comprehensive pictorial review, the most common and/or typical genetic, acquired metabolic/toxic, infectious, inflammatory, vascular and neoplastic pathologies affecting the central grey matter are subdivided according to the preferential location of the lesions: in the basal ganglia, in the thalami or both. The characteristic imaging findings are described with emphasis on the differential diagnosis and clinical context.

Abstract
Movement disorders are one of the common clinical features of neurological disease associated with neuronal antibodies which is a group of potentially reversible disorder. They can present with hypokinetic or hyperkinetic types of involuntary movements and may have other associated neurological symptoms. The spectrum of abnormal movements associated with neuronal antibodies is widening. Some specific phenomenology of movement disorders are likely to give clue about the type of antibody, for instance, presence of paroxysmal dystonia (facio-brachial dystonic seizures) are a pointer toward presence of LGI-1 antibodies, and orofacial lingual dyskinesia is associated with NMDAR associated encephalitis. The presence of specific type of movement disorder allows high suspicion of testing of certain specific type of antibodies. In this review, we have discussed the various antibodies and the spectrum of movement disorder associated with them, highlighting if any distinct movement disorder allows the clinician to suspect type of antibody in a certain clinical context. We have also reviewed the treatment of the movement disorder associated with the neuronal antibodies. Physicians should have high index of suspicion of these disorders, as early institution of treatment options can lead to better outcome.

Abstract
Autoimmune encephalitis is a relatively new category of immune-mediated disease involving the central nervous system that demonstrates a widely variable spectrum of clinical presentations, ranging from the relatively mild or insidious onset of cognitive impairment to more complex forms of encephalopathy with refractory seizure. Due to its diverse clinical features, which can mimic a variety of other pathologic processes, autoimmune encephalitis presents a diagnostic challenge to clinicians. Imaging findings in patients with these disorders can also be quite variable, but recognizing characteristic findings within limbic structures suggestive of autoimmune encephalitis can be a key step in alerting clinicians to the potential diagnosis and ensuring a prompt and appropriate clinical work-up. In this article, we review antibody-mediated encephalitis and its various subtypes with a specific emphasis on the role of neuroimaging in the diagnostic work-up.

Abstract
A 71-year-old woman presented acutely with seizures; her MRI suggested a low-grade glioma of the right temporal lobe. Over the preceding 18 months, she had developed progressive limb chorea and orofacial dyskinesia. Examination showed a predominantly amnestic cognitive profile. Initial investigations were normal, but later she was found to have antibodies to collapsin response mediator protein 5 (also called CV2). Her symptoms and neuroimaging abnormalities gradually improved without treatment. Four months later, surveillance imaging with (18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron-emission tomography revealed a lesion confirmed by biopsy as a TX, N2, M0 small-cell lung cancer. This case is unusual for the strikingly unilateral neuroimaging abnormalities, which led to an initial misdiagnosis, and the spontaneous symptomatic improvement without treatment. In retrospect, the co-occurrence of paraneoplastic chorea, limbic encephalitis and neuropathy in the presence of an occult lung tumour make this almost a 'full house' of symptoms associated with antibodies to collapsin response mediator protein 5. It underlines the importance in clinical reasoning of avoiding the cognitive errors of premature closure and anchoring.
