Abstract
The present work aims at exploring the high electrophilic character of 4-chloro-7-nitrobenzo-2-oxa-1,3-diazole (NBD-Cl) toward the morpholine group by an SNAr reaction in acetonitrile or water (thereafter referred to as NBD-Morph). The electron-donating ability of the morpholine causes intra-molecular charge transfer (ICT). In this report, we present a comprehensive study on the optical characteristics using UV-Vis, photoluminescence (cw-PL) and its time-resolved (TR-PL) to determine the properties of the emissive intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) in the NBD-Morph donor-acceptor system. An exhaustive theoretical investigation utilizing the density functional theory (DFT) and its extension TD-DFT methods is an essential complement of experiments to rationalize and understand the molecular structure and related properties. The findings from QTAIM, ELF, and RDG analyses establish that the bonding between morpholine and NBD moieties is of the electrostatic or hydrogen bond type. In addition, the Hirshfeld surfaces have been established to explore the types of interactions. Further, the non-linear optical (NLO) responses of the compound have been examined. The structure-property relationships obtained through the combined experimental and theoretical offer valuable insights for designing efficient NLO material.

Abstract
In this paper, theoretical study on molecular geometry, vibrational, pharmaceutical and electronic properties of the monomeric and dimeric structures of 1-benzothiophene-2-carboxylic acid (2BT) were carried out using B3LYP hybrid functional with 6-311++G(d,p) as basis set. The structural study show that the stability of 2BT crystalline structure arising from O-H…O, C-H…O as well as S-H…O hydrogen bonding interactions. Vibrational analysis, for monomer and dimer species, show a good compatibility between experimental and theoretical frequencies. Then, the 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts were calculated using Gauge Independent Atomic Orbital (GIAO) technical. In addition, the UV-Vis spectrum was simulated in gas phase and in water throughout TD-DFT calculation. The electronic transitions were identified based on HOM-LUMO energies. However, donor-acceptor interactions and charge delocalization has been studied via natural bond orbital (NBO). The nucleophilic and electrophilic site localization is identified by molecular electrostatic potential. Hirshfeld surface analysis has been discussed based on color code demonstrating the various non covalent interactions. Besides, molecular docking analysis was reported to evince the pharmaceutical properties of the studied molecule.

Abstract
The title compound, [Cu2Cl4(C15H12N2)2(C3H7NO)2], Cu2(μ-Cl)2Cl2(3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole)2(DMF)2, where DMF isN,N-dimethylformamide, crystallizes in the monoclinic space groupP21/n. The five-coordinate CuIIions have a distorted square-pyramidal geometry and are joinedviatwo μ-Cl anions. The coordination environment of each CuIIion is completed by a terminal chloride anion, a nitrogen-coordinated 3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole molecule, and a DMF molecule. Two intramolecular hydrogen bonds exist in the molecule as the H atom of the protonated N atom of the 3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole bonds to a terminal chloride anion of the adjacent CuIIcation. In addition, molecules are linked into a two-dimensional sheetviaweak C—H...Cl intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Each dimer hydrogen bonds to four neighboring molecules as the H atom of the C atom in the fourth position of the pyrazole ring bonds to a μ-Cl on a neighboring molecule.
