Abstract
Carrots are among the most crucial and globally preferred vegetables, widely recognized for their importance as a source of phytonutrients, including phenolic compounds, carotenoids, polyacetylenes, and ascorbic acid. However, its production phase incurs substantial losses, estimated at 30 %; these discarded carrots typically find application in animal feed, composting material or organic waste. Therefore, this study aims to develop a methodological framework focusing on the application of a phytochemical bioprospecting process based on scientific surveillance; using carrot crop by-products as a foundational example. Advanced methodologies, such as bibliometric, scientometric, and patent analyses, supported by technological tools such as VOSviewer and Patent Inspiration, were employed. This involved the creation of scientific landscapes, trend maps and co-occurrence networks, intending to explore the potential of carrot crop by-products, their applicability in generating new knowledge, and their utilization in the industry. This approach facilitated the identification of emerging trends in scientific research, providing a comprehensive view of commercial and industrial areas of interest, with a focus on circular economic principles. Furthermore, the study emphasized the importance of bioprospecting, supported by these methodologies and technological tools, as a key factor in the research process on the potential uses of carrot crop by-products, which could extend to other matrices.

Abstract
The possible adverse effect of consuming bovine milk with A1 β-casein (but not with A2 β-casein) on health aspects due to the release of β-casomorphin-7 (BCM-7) is currently under debate. The aim of this study was to perform a bibliometric analysis of studies extracted from Scopus to explore the relationship between BCM-7, A1 or A2 bovine milk with different aspects of health. Over time, several research groups were formed that are no longer active and although some authors have returned to the field of study, they have focused their efforts mainly on conducting reviews that show the same imprecise conclusions due to the few original articles. Research is concentrated in Europe and Asia, where New Zealand, China and Germany are the countries with the most publications, records and citations on the subject, respectively. On the other hand, no country in Africa or South America has scientific production, which opens the possibility of building collaborations between countries and exploring areas that lack scientific studies. Based on conflicting information from primarily in vitro and animal studies, and limited clinical trials with poor designs, A1 milk presents pro-inflammatory and oxidative activity, but the evidence is insufficient to associate its consumption with negative health effects. However, A2 milk may be better tolerated by the digestive system of some individuals, suggesting its possible modulating role in the intestinal microbiota. Stronger scientific evidence is needed to reach a consensus on whether the presence of β-casein A1 can significantly negatively affect health. The information shown will allow a better understanding of the subject and consumers will be able to make their own decisions regarding A1 or A2 milk.

Abstract
Osteogenesis serves an important role in bone tissue repairing. Novel biomaterials are widely prevalent as materials for orthopedic implants due to their biocompatibility and osteogenetic ability. The purpose of this study was to comprehensively analyze hotspots and future trend of biomaterials research in osteogenesis based on bibliometric and visualized analysis. A total of 1,523 papers about biomaterials research in osteogenesis between 2000 and 2021 were included in this study. During the above 20 years, China's leading position in the global biomaterials research in osteogenesis was obvious, and it was also the country that most frequently participates in international cooperation. Chinese Academy of Sciences was the most productive institution and the leader of research cooperation. Acta Biomaterialia and Biomaterials have published the largest number of articles in the field of biomaterials research in osteogenesis. Meanwhile, Acta Biomaterialia and Biomaterials were also the two journals with the highest total citation frequency. Wu CT, Chang J, Kaplan DL, and Xiao Y all made important contributions in the field of biomaterials research in osteogenesis. At present, there are five research hotspots in the field of biomaterials research in osteogenesis: 1) the immunomodulatory role of biomaterial-related inflammatory; 2) mechanisms of osteogenesis in biomaterials; 3) 3D printing and clinical application of biomaterials; 4) bone tissue engineering for biomaterial osteogenesis; and 5) regenerative medicine for biomaterial osteogenesis. The results of this study showed that mechanisms of osteogenesis in biomaterials, bone tissue engineering for biomaterial osteogenesis, and regenerative medicine for biomaterial osteogenesis will remain research hotspots in the future. International cooperation was also expected to expand and deepen the field of biomaterials research in osteogenesis.

Abstract
Altmetrics measure the digital attention received by a research output. They allow us to gauge the immediate social impact of an article by taking real-time measurements of how it circulates in the Internet. While there are several companies offering attention scores, the most extensive are Altmetric.com (Altmetric Attention Score—AAS) and Plum X (Plum Print). As this is an emerging topic, many medical specialities have tried to establish if there is a relationship between an article’s altmetric data and the citations it subsequently receives. The results have varied depending on the research field. In radiology, the social network most used is Twitter and the subspeciality with the highest AAS is neuroimaging. This article will review the process involved from the start when an article is published through to finally obtaining its altmetric score. It will also address the relationship between altmetrics and more traditional approaches focusing on citations in radiology and will discuss the advantages and limitations of these new impact indicators.
