Abstract
Since coumarin and thiazole derivatives are known to have antioxidant properties, a novel derivative was synthesized in this article. 3-(2-((4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)amino)thiazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-one (ATC) was synthesized as a novel compound with high yield and characterized by Raman, FT-IR, 13 C-NMR, and 1 H-NMR spectroscopic procedures and DFT calculations. In this study, the potential in vitro antiproliferative properties of the ATC compound were evaluated on colorectal cancer (HT29) and melanoma (SK-MEL-30) cell lines. According to the results, the compound was found to be significantly active, approximately 2.6-fold, against melanoma cells compared to healthy fibroblast (L929) cells. Unlike melanoma cells, the compound did not have any adverse effects on colorectal cancer cells. Due to these findings, the compound can be harnessed as a promising antiproliferative drug candidate for preclinical studies against melanoma.

Abstract
Fourier-Transform-Infrared, Fourier-Transform-Raman and Nuclear Magnetic Rezonans spectra of 1-(p-tolylsulfonyl) pyrrole molecule have been recorded. In the powder form, vibrational spectra of 1-(p-tolylsulfonyl) pyrrol molecule were investigated in the region 4000-400 cm(-1) and 3500-50 cm(-1), respectively. The conformational analysis, geometrical structure, molecular electrostatic potential map, HOMO-LUMO and vibrational spectroscopic properties of the isolated 1-(p-tolylsulfonyl) pyrrole molecule have also been carried out at the Molecular Mechanic and Density Functional Theory approaches. Density Functional Theory results have been associated with Scaled Quantum Mechanics Force Field for fitting between the theoretical and the experimental frequencies.

Abstract
In this study, the experimental and theoretical vibrational frequencies of a newly synthesized tert-Butyl N-(thiophen-2yl)carbamate have been investigated. The experimental FT-IR (4000-400 cm(-1)) spectrum of the molecule in the solid phase have been recorded. The theoretical vibrational frequencies and optimized geometric parameters (bond lengths and bond angles) have been calculated by using density functional theory (DFT/B3LYP: Becke, 3-parameter, Lee-Yang-Parr) and DFT/M06-2X (the highly parametrized, empirical exchange correlation function) quantum chemical methods with the 6-311++G(d,p) basis set by Gaussian 09W software, for the first time. The vibrational frequencies have been assigned using potential energy distribution (PED) analysis by using VEDA 4 software. The computational optimized geometric parameters and vibrational frequencies have been found to be in good agreement with the corresponding experimental data, and with related literature results. In addition, the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energies and the other related molecular energy values have been calculated and are depicted.

Abstract
The molecular structure, vibrational frequencies and intensities of N-(3-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2,6-diphenyl-4-hydroxyaniline were calculated by the Density Functional Theory methods (BLYP, B3PW91 and B3LYP) using the 6-31G(d,p) basis set. The calculated geometric parameters were compared to the corresponding X-ray structure of the title compound. The comparison of the theoretical and experimental geometry of the title compound shows that the X-ray parameters fairly well reproduce the geometry of optimized by B3LYP method (r=0.9825). The harmonic vibrations computed for this compound by the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) method are in good agreement with the observed IR and Raman spectral data. The root mean square values error of the observed and calculated IR bands are found to be 9.80, 9.40 and 8.42 for B3LYP, B3PW91 and BLYP/6-31G(d,p) methods, respectively. Theoretical vibrational spectra of the title compound were interpreted by means of PEDs using the SQM 2.0 program. A general better performance of the investigated methods was calculated by PAVF 1.0 program.

Abstract
The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum of 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenylpropan-1-one has been measured in the region 4000–700 . The most stable conformation of title molecule was found after a careful potential energy surfaces study. The molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies, and infrared intensities have been calculated by using ab initio HF and density functional theory calculation B3LYP with 6-311+ basis set. Scaled frequencies and potential energy distribution were calculated for band assignment. We found an excellent agreement between the experimental and the simulated spectra. Energy gap between HOMO and LUMO explains the eventual charge transfer interactions taking place within the molecule.
