Synthesis, spectroscopic (FT-IR/NMR) characterization, X-ray structure and DFT studies on (E)-2-(1-phenylethylidene) hydrazinecarboximidamide nitrate hemimethanol

Quantum Computational Investigation of (E)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-N′-(3-phenoxybenzylidene)-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carbohydrazide

The title compound was synthesized and structurally characterized. Theoretical IR, NMR (with the GIAO technique), UV, and nonlinear optical properties (NLO) in four different solvents were calculated for the compound. The calculated HOMO–LUMO energies using time-dependent (TD) DFT revealed that charge transfer occurs within the molecule, and probable transitions in the four solvents were identified. The in silico absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) analysis was performed in order to determine some physicochemical, lipophilicity, water solubility, pharmacokinetics, drug-likeness, and medicinal properties of the molecule. Finally, molecular docking calculation was performed, and the results were evaluated in detail.

Experimental and theoretical studies of (E)-2-(2-hydroxystyryl)-6-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one

Crystal structure of the title compound, C26H21N3O5, has been synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR and X-ray single crystal determination. The molecular geometry was also calculated by using Gaussian 03 software and structure was optimized by using HF and DFT/B3LYP method with the 6-31G(d) basis sets in ground state. The comparison of the theoretical and experimental geometries of the title compound indicated that the X-ray parameters agree with the theoretically obtained values. It was seen that R(2) value changes from 0.015 to 0.021 Å for bond length and angle. The calculated vibrational frequencies are also in good agreement with the experimental results. The (1)H and (13)C NMR chemical shifts values of (E)-2-(2-hydroxystyryl)-6-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one molecule have been calculated by the GIAO method. Besides, molecular electrostatic potential maps (MEP), Mulliken charges and Nonlinear Optical effects (NLO) analysis of the compound have been calculated by the HF and B3LYP/6-31G(d) methods.

Computational studies on the anastrozole and letrozole, effective chemotherapy drugs against breast cancer

In this paper, computational studies were carried out on anastrozole and letrozole, chemotherapy drugs used against breast cancer. Optimization and frequency calculations were performed at B3LYP/6-31G (d) basis set and vibrational frequencies were assignment. Single point calculations were performed at DFT method with a hybrid functional B3LYP/6-311G (d, p) basis set. Theoretical NMR data were obtained at DFT method with a hybrid functional B3LYP/6-311G++ (2d, p) with GIAO (Gauge-Independent Atomic Orbital). IEF-PCM method was used as solvation model. NBO calculations were performed by the same basis set and calculation method with single point calculation. Global and localized reactivity parameters; fukui indices (f) chemical hardness (η), softness (S), chemical potential (μ), electronegativity (χ) and electrophilicity index (ω) were calculated. All computational parameters were compared with the experimental results obtained from the literature.
