Abstract
This work describes the synthesis and characterization of a polymeric film of 3,5-diamino 1,2,4-triazole on a pencil graphite electrode for the selective sensing of pyridoxine (PY). The PGE was modified using the electropolymerization process by the potentiodynamic method. The polymerized electrode (PDAT/PGE) was characterized by IR, SEM, AFM, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. PY undergoes irreversible oxidation at 0.79 V on PDAT/PGE in phosphate buffer of pH 5. Using the differential pulse voltammetric technique (DPV), PY showed a linear range from 5 to 950 μM with a lower detection limit of 2.96 μM. The PDAT/PGE was applied for the analytical determination of PY in pharmaceutical tablets with good recovery. Abstract
Poly(1,5-diaminonaphthalene) has been electropolymerized on the screen-printed device with a three-electrode configuration. The modified electrodes have been developed as the new electrode for electrochemical determination of trace levels of lead ions (Pb2+). The poly(1,5-diaminonaphthalene) film prevents the deposition of Pb2+ into the surface defects of the bare carbon screen-printed electrode and possesses sensitivity to heavy metal ions thanks to amine and secondary amino groups on the polymer chain. The square wave anodic stripping voltammetry was applied to detect Pb2+ ions, showing a sharp stripping peak with the linear range from 0.5 μg·L-1 to 5.0 μg·L-1 (
). The limit of detection was found to be 0.30 μg·L-1. The sensors were applied to the analysis of Pb2+ in the tap water sample matrix with satisfactory results.

Abstract
A comprehensive profile of cefpodoxime proxetil including the nomenclatures, formulae, elemental composition, appearance, uses, and applications. The methods which were developed for the preparation of the drug substance and their respective schemes are outlined. The physical characteristics of the drug including the ionization constant, solubility, X-ray powder diffraction pattern, differential scanning calorimetry, thermal behavior, and spectroscopic studies are included. The methods which were used for the analysis of the drug substance in bulk drug and/or in pharmaceutical formulations includes the compendial, spectrophotometric, electrochemical and the chromatographic methods. The other studies which was carried out on this drug substance are including the drug stability, pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, drug evaluation, comparison and several compiled reviews. Finally, more than two hundred references are listed at the end of this profile.
