Abstract
The chiral framework based on 11-aminomefloquine has been utilized for the first time to construct bifunctional organocatalysts. These catalysts demonstrate high enantioselectivity in both Michael additions and Friedel-Crafts reactions across a variety of substrates, achieving up to >99% ee. The distinctive feature is the incorporation of a secondary amine group, offering unique tight hydrogen-bonding capabilities in the protonated state, as supported by DFT computation. The diversity of these organocatalysts suggests their broad applicability across multiple reaction classes.

Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed oxidative amination of inactive olefins with an aromatic amine was developed using a copper acetate oxidant to yield corresponding secondary and tertiary enamines in moderate to good yields. This new procedure outlines an efficient approach for the construction of enamine skeletons.

Abstract
Various nitrogen nucleophiles were easily added to in situ-generated 1-(trifluoromethyl)-2-(phenylthio)ethyne to afford the corresponding trifluoromethyl enamines in good-to-high yields and with high regio- and stereocontrol under very mild conditions.

Abstract
The present study reports the one-step synthesis of several 3-formyl-4-hydroxycouramin-derived enamines (4a-4i) in good yields (65-94%). The characterization of the synthesized compounds was carried out via advanced analytical and spectroscopic techniques, such as melting point, electron impact mass spectrometry (EI-MS), 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, elemental analysis, FTIR, and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The reaction conditions were optimized, and the maximum yield was obtained at 3-4 h of reflux of the reactants, using 2-butanol as a solvent. The potato disc tumor assay was used to assess Agrobacterium tumefaciens-induced tumors to evaluate the anti-tumor activities of compounds (4a-4i), using Vinblastine as a standard drug. The compound 4g showed the lowest IC50 value (1.12 ± 0.2), which is even better than standard Vinblastine (IC50 7.5 ± 0.6). For further insight into their drug actions, an in silico docking of the compounds was also carried out against the CDK-8 protein. The binding energy values of compounds were found to agree with the experimental results. The compounds 4g and 4h showed the best affinities toward protein, with a binding energy value of -6.8 kcal/mol.

Abstract
Four enaminoesters derived from halogenated aniline, with potential anticorrosion activity, were synthesized and tested against carbon steel AISI 1020 in acid medium using 1.0 mol L-1 HCl. The synthesis was demonstrated through the reaction of ethyl acetoacetate with four different amines, in the presence of glacial acetic acid and molecular sieve, using ethanol as solvent for 24 h. The evaluation of the anticorrosive activity was performed using the gravimetric technique and electrochemical methods, such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), linear polarization resistance (LPR), and potentiodynamic polarization (PP). Results indicated that the F-EN (Ethyl (2Z)-3-[(4-fluoro-phenyl)-amino]-but-2-enoate) inhibitor had higher corrosion inhibition efficiency, of 98% by mass loss, and 85% by electrochemical techniques. Adsorption obeyed the Langmuir isotherm, thus suggesting that the inhibitors form a monolayer film in metal surface. Abstract
In the present work, construction of double-charged cationic amphiphilic 1,1′-{[3,5-bis(dodecyl¬oxy-carbonyl)-4-(thiophen-3-yl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-2,6-diyl]bis-(methylene)}bis(pyridin-1-ium) dibromide (7) was performed in four steps. Dodecyl 3-oxobutanoate (1) was condensed with thiophene-3-carbaldehyde (2) which was necessary for Hantzsch cyclisation dodecyl (E/Z)-3-oxo-2-(thiophen-3-ylmethylene)butanoate (3). Two-component Hantzsch type cyclisation of dodecyl (E/Z)-3-aminobut-2-enoate (4) and dodecyl (E/Z)-3-oxo-2-(thiophen-3-ylmethylene)butanoate (3) gave 3,5-bis(dodecyloxycarbonyl)-2,6-dimethyl-4-(thiophen-3-yl)-1,4-dihydropyridine (5). Bromination of compound 5 followed by nucleophilic substitution of bromine with pyridine gave the desired cationic amphiphilic 1,4-dihydropyridine 7. The obtained target compound 7 and new intermediates 3, 5 and 6 were fully characterised by IR, UV, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS or microanalysis. Characterisation of nanoparticles formed by the cationic 1,4-dihydropyridine 7 in an aqueous solution was performed by DLS measurements.
