Abstract
OBJECTIVE To examine the association between objectively-measured preoperative physical activity with postoperative outcomes and recovery milestones in patients undergoing gynecologic oncology surgeries. METHODS Prospective cohort study of patients undergoing surgery with gynecologic oncologists who wore wearable actigraphy rings before and after surgery from 03/2021-11/2023. Exposures encompassed preoperative activity intensity (moderate- and vigorous-intensity metabolic equivalent of task-minutes [MAVI MET-mins] over seven days) and level (average daily steps over seven days). Intensity was categorized as <500, 500-1000, and >1000 MAVI MET-mins; level categorized as <8000 and ≥8000 steps/day. Primary outcome was 30-day complications. Secondary outcomes included reaching postoperative goal (≥70% of recommended preoperative intensity and level thresholds) and return to baseline (≥70% of individual preoperative intensity and level). RESULTS Among 96 enrolled, 87 met inclusion criteria, which constituted 39% (n = 34) with <500 MET-mins and 56.3% (n = 49) with <8000 steps preoperatively. Those with <500 MET-mins and <8000 steps had higher ECOG scores (p = 0.042 & 0.037) and BMI (p = 0.049 & 0.002) vs those with higher activity; all other perioperative characteristics were similar between groups. Overall, 29.9% experienced a 30-day complication, 29.9% reached postoperative goal, and 64.4% returned to baseline. On multivariable models, higher activity was associated with lower odds of complications: 500-1000 MET-mins (OR = 0.26,95%CI = 0.07-0.92) and >1000 MET-mins (OR = 0.25,95%CI = 0.07-0.94) vs <500 MET-mins; ≥8000 steps (OR = 0.25,95%CI = 0.08-0.73) vs <8000 steps. Higher preoperative activity was associated fewer days to reach postoperative goal. CONCLUSION Patients with high preoperative activity are associated with fewer postoperative complications and faster attainment of recovery milestones. Physical activity may be considered a modifiable risk factor for adverse postoperative outcomes.

Abstract
Based on the Global Cancer Update Programme, formally known as the World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research Continuous Update Project, we performed systematic reviews and meta-analyses to investigate the association of postdiagnosis body fatness, physical activity and dietary factors with breast cancer prognosis. We searched PubMed and Embase for randomised controlled trials and longitudinal observational studies from inception to 31 October 2021. We calculated summary relative risks (RRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) using random-effects meta-analyses. An independent Expert Panel graded the quality of evidence according to predefined criteria. The evidence on postdiagnosis body fatness and higher all-cause mortality (RR per 5 kg/m2 in body mass index: 1.07, 95% CI: 1.05-1.10), breast cancer-specific mortality (RR: 1.10, 95% CI: 1.06-1.14) and second primary breast cancer (RR: 1.14, 95% CI: 1.04-1.26) was graded as strong (likelihood of causality: probable). The evidence for body fatness and breast cancer recurrence and other nonbreast cancer-related mortality was graded as limited (likelihood of causality: limited-suggestive). The evidence on recreational physical activity and lower risk of all-cause (RR per 10 metabolic equivalent of task-hour/week: 0.85, 95% CI: 0.78-0.92) and breast cancer-specific mortality (RR: 0.86, 95% CI: 0.77-0.96) was judged as limited-suggestive. Data on dietary factors was limited, and no conclusions could be reached except for healthy dietary patterns, isoflavone and dietary fibre intake and serum 25(OH)D concentrations that were graded with limited-suggestive evidence for lower risk of the examined outcomes. Our results encourage the development of lifestyle recommendations for breast cancer patients to avoid obesity and be physically active.

Abstract
Background The residual effects of cancer and its treatment can profoundly affect women’s quality of life. This paper presents results from a multisite randomized controlled trial that evaluated the clinical benefits of an e-health enabled health promotion intervention (the Women’s Wellness after Cancer Program or WWACP) on the health-related quality of life of women recovering from cancer treatment. Methods Overall, 351 women previously treated for breast, blood or gynaecological cancers were randomly allocated to the intervention (WWACP) or usual care arms. The WWACP comprised a structured 12-week program that included online coaching and an interactive iBook that targeted physical activity, healthy diet, stress and menopause management, sexual wellbeing, smoking cessation, alcohol intake and sleep hygiene. Data were collected via a self-completed electronic survey at baseline (t0), 12 weeks (post-intervention, t1) and 24 weeks (to assess sustained behaviour change, t2). The primary outcome, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), was measured using the Short Form Health Survey (SF-36). Results Following the 12-week lifestyle program, intervention group participants reported statistically significant improvements in general health, bodily pain, vitality, and global physical and mental health scores. Improvements were also noted in the control group across several HRQoL domains, though the magnitude of change was less. Conclusions The WWACP was associated with improved HRQoL in women previously treated for blood, breast, and gynaecological cancers. Given how the synergy of different lifestyle factors influence health behaviour, interventions accounting for the reciprocity of multiple health behaviours like the WWACP, have real potential for immediate and sustainable change. Trial registration The protocol for this randomised controlled trial was submitted to the Australian and New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry on 15/07/2014 and approved on 28/07/2014 (ACTRN12614000800628). Abstract
PURPOSE Chronic lymphedema causes psychophysical sequelae jeopardizing quality of life (QoL) of breast cancer (BC) survivors, and lack of effective therapies represents a major challenge for healthcare professionals. Structured adapted physical activity (APA) may represent an effective strategy to attenuate cancer treatment-related impairments and improve QoL. Here, we describe the effects of a specific APA intervention based on a novel multiperspective methodology in counteracting lymphedema-related morphofunctional alterations and improving QoL of BC survivors. METHODS BC survivors with chronic moderate/severe lymphedema attending the Cancer Rehabilitation Center in Florence were assessed before and after 8-week APA. The protocol consisted of both APA specialist-supervised and self-leaded sessions using a tailor-designed proprioceptive board. Body mass index, bioimpedance parameters, indirect upper limb volume measurement, and ultrasonography were performed. Wrist flexion/extension and hand strength functional tests were also executed. QoL, depression/anxiety and pain intensity were evaluated by ULL27, HADS, distress thermometer and NRS questionnaires, respectively. RESULTS Although bioimpedance, ultrasound and volumetric measures remained mostly unchanged, wrist mobility, pain perception, depression, and QoL were all significantly ameliorated after APA. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that a multidisciplinary treatment approach involving APA professionals should be employed in the management of BC-related lymphedema to improve patient psychophysical outcomes and QoL.

Hintergrund Sexuelle Dysfunktionen sind Lebensqualität mindernde Nebenwirkungen von Standardtherapien bei Prostatakarzinom.
Ziel Diese Untersuchung erfasst den aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Kenntnisstand bezüglich Effektivität von Bewegungstherapie zur Kompensation sexueller Dysfunktionen in Folge von Standardtherapien bei Prostatakarzinom.
Methode Systematisches Review in Anlehnung an „Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses“ (PRISMA). Die Literaturrecherche wurde von 2 unabhängigen Gutachter*innen in den Datenbanken Pubmed und PEDro durchgeführt. Eingeschlossen wurden Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT) mit dem American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Evidenzlevel I, die sexuelle Funktionen von Patienten mit standardtherapierten Prostatakarzinom unter Bewegungstherapie evaluieren.
Ergebnisse 17 Publikationen mit 1175 Patienten mit Prostatakarzinom erfüllten die Einschlusskriterien. 11 Studien berichten signifikante Verbesserungen der sexuellen Funktionen durch Bewegungstherapie.
Schlussfolgerung Da die Mehrzahl der Studien nicht vergleichbar war, ist keine generalisierte Aussage bezüglich der Wirksamkeit von Bewegungstherapie möglich. Weitere kontrollierte Studien sind unabdingbar, um den Einfluss von Bewegungstherapie auf sexuelle Dysfunktion bei Patienten mit Prostatakarzinom unter Standardtherapien aufzuzeigen.

Abstract
The aim of this longitudinal study was to determine whether a rowing training program improved the quality of life and the physical activity levels in female breast cancer survivors (n = 28) (stage 1–4.54%; stage 2–36.36%; stage 3–54.54%; and stage 4–4.54%), diagnosed 4.68 ± 3.00 years previously, who had undergone a subsequent intervention (preservation 56.53% and total mastectomy 43.47%) and had a current mean age of 52.30 ± 3.78 years. The participants (n = 28) engaged in a 12-week training program, each week comprising three sessions and each session lasting 60–90 min. The short form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF) and the Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) were also administered. The results showed statistically significant improvements in levels of physical activity and in the dimensions of quality of life. We can conclude that a 12-week rowing training program tailored to women who have had breast cancer increases physical activity levels, leading to improved health status and quality of life.

Trends in health-related quality of life of female breast cancer survivors using the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS), 2008-2016. Qual Life Res 2021; 30:3547-3558. Abstract
PURPOSE In recent years, breast cancer detection and treatment have advanced. As a result, increased attention to breast cancer survivorship should have improved their health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Our aim was to examine the trends in the HRQoL of female breast cancer survivors between 2008 and 2016, to determine whether or not the increased focus on survivorship has translated into improved HRQoL. Furthermore, stratified analyses were conducted by race/ethnicity and age group and these were compared to a similar group of women without a breast cancer history. METHODS Repeated cross-sectional analyses using the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey between 2008 and 2016 were conducted. Pooled ordinary least squares (OLS) regression was used to examine the trends in physical component scores (PCS-12) and mental component scores (MCS-12) among breast cancer survivors and a similar population of women without a breast cancer history. Analyses stratified by race/ethnicity and age group were also conducted. RESULTS Among breast cancer survivors, after adjusting for confounders, there was no change in PCS-12 scores over time, but the MCS-12 scores increased by 0.27 points (95% CI 0.09-0.45). Those without a history of breast cancer had mean PCS-12 scores that were 0.13 points greater each year (95% CI 0.02-0.24) while their mean MCS-12 scores were 0.10 (95% CI 0.00-0.21) points greater each year. After stratifying by race/ethnicity, Hispanic breast cancer survivors had a small increase in PCS-12 (β: 0.65; 95% CI 0.01-1.29), and MCS-12 scores (β: 0.70; 95% CI 0.06-1.33) over time. Similar small effects were found when stratified by age group, both among breast cancer survivors and those without a history of breast cancer. The younger age group (< 50 years) reported poorer MCS-12 than the older population (age 50 years and above). CONCLUSION Our study generated findings showing the trends in the HRQoL of breast cancer survivors and compared these to a similar population of women without a history of breast cancer. This paper highlights the importance of focusing on the mental health of young breast cancer survivors to improve their prospects at a good quality of life post-breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

BACKGROUND Engagement in regular physical activity is recommended for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer due to aggressive treatment approaches, an increased risk of disease recurrence and low survival rates. OBJECTIVES To synthesize the current available evidence identifying barriers and enablers to participation in physical activity among women diagnosed with ovarian cancer. DATA SOURCES Peer-reviewed articles in electronic databases including CINAHL, Cochrane, Medline, Psych INFO and Scopus and key studies' reference lists. CONCLUSION Although evidence pertaining to the study population was limited, the findings of this review suggest women with ovarian cancer experience similar barriers and enablers to the general population and other cancer cohorts. The primary barriers to physical activity participation reported by this population were treatment or disease related side effects, fear of injury or falling and the absence of physical activity counselling. Key enablers reported to facilitate physical activity participation were the implementation of individualized interventions with targeted goals in addition to support from health and medical professionals. Future research on ovarian cancer populations is warranted to further explore perceived barriers and enablers. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING PRACTICE Nurses working within the oncology field are well positioned clinically to facilitate physical activity engagement and identify and overcome barriers to participation within a population that experiences high mortality rates and disease recurrence.

Abstract
Background Lack of physical activity throughout one’s lifetime has been associated with obesity and it is also an important risk factor of breast cancer. This study aimed to determine the relationship between objectively measured physical activity and sedentary behaviour with health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among breast cancer survivors in the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia. Methods A cross-sectional study involving 83 breast cancer survivors was carried out in two main government referral hospitals in the region. Participants wore the ActivPAL3™ microdevice physical activity monitor for seven consecutive days. The validated European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaires (EORTC QLQ–C30) and Breast Cancer Supplementary Measure (EORTC QLQ-BR23) were used to measure their HRQoL. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between objectively measured physical activity and sedentary behaviour with HRQoL. Results Longer time spent on moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) was significantly associated with an improvement of HRQoL (p = 0.039) whereas longer time spent on sedentary behaviour significantly reduced the functioning score (p = 0.005). In addition, prolonged sedentary bouts were also significantly associated with better body image that led to improved HRQoL (p = 0.013). Conclusions The study findings suggest that an increase in the time spent on MVPA was associated with improved HRQoL while sedentary behaviour was associated with poorer HRQoL among breast cancer survivors. Thus, it is essential to displace sedentary behaviour with MVPA to improve the quality of life of breast cancer survivors.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine whether a rowing training program leads to improvements in physical fitness and body composition in women who have survived breast cancer (53.70 ± 7.88 years). The participants (n = 30) completed a twelve-week training program consisting of three sessions per week, with each session lasting from sixty to ninety minutes. An anthropometric and general physical fitness assessment was performed before and after the program. The results showed statistically significant improvements in all the physical fitness tests performed: sit and reach (2.82 cm); back scratch, dominant (3.29 cm); back scratch, non-dominant (4.59 cm); counter movement jump (1.91 cm); hand grip, dominant (2.54 kgf); hand grip, non-dominant (2.53 kgf); chair stand (2.56 rep); and six-minute walk (51.56 m). In addition, a significant improvement was observed in the efficiency of the cardiovascular system measured by heart rate, in beats per minute (bpm), both before (−12.63 bpm) and after the six-minute walk test (−11.46 bpm). The evaluated body composition parameters also improved, specifically total lean mass (2.18 kg) and the percentage of total body fat (−2.63%). We can therefore conclude that rowing training programs can be a strategy to be considered for improving physical fitness in this population given the improvement obtained in both anthropometric and physical fitness variables, thus leading to better health and quality of life.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE A consistent body of evidence supports participating in physical activity (PA) post-cancer diagnosis as beneficial to function, quality-of-life and potentially survival. However, diagnosis of late stage disease, poor prognosis, receipt of high doses of adjuvant therapy and presence of severe acute and persistent treatment-related side-effects may alter how these findings translate to women with ovarian cancer. Therefore, the objectives of this review were to (I) describe PA levels post-diagnosis of ovarian cancer, (II) explore the relationship between PA levels and health outcomes, and (III) evaluate the effect of exercise interventions for women with ovarian cancer. METHODS PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus and CINAHL were systematically searched to December 31, 2019. Two independent reviewers assessed articles for eligibility. Studies were eligible if they evaluated the relationship between PA levels or an exercise intervention and health outcomes following ovarian cancer. Methodological quality was assessed by two independent reviewers using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Tools. Descriptive statistics were used to collate relevant data. RESULTS 34 articles were eligible for inclusion. Results demonstrated that most women decrease PA from pre- to post-diagnosis and remain insufficiently active following diagnosis. Higher levels of PA were associated with higher health-related quality-of-life (HRQOL), and lower levels of anxiety and depression. Exercise appears safe and feasible during and following treatment and leads to improvements in HRQOL, fatigue and additional physical and psychological outcomes. CONCLUSIONS Findings suggest that PA is relevant to health outcomes for women with ovarian cancer. Interventions that aid women to stay or become sufficiently active, including through exercise interventions during or following treatment have potential to improve the lives of those with ovarian cancer. Future work evaluating targeted interventions that can accommodate disease-specific challenges is now required to ensure scientific findings can translate into improved ovarian cancer care.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Physical activity may mitigate the effects of cancer treatment. We sought to evaluate the association between self-reported physical activity, neuropathy symptomatology, and emotional health in gynecologic cancer survivors. METHODS Patients were recruited from an academic gynecologic oncology practice to a prospective cohort study. Participants completed semiannual surveys on quality of life (QOL), neuropathy symptoms, depression, distress, and health behaviors. Abstracted clinical data included cancer type, FIGO stage at diagnosis and treatments received (chemotherapy, surgery, radiation). Physical activity [no: moderate physical activity <150 min/week, yes: ≥150 min/week] and neuropathy symptomatology [high (FACT/GOG-Ntx ≥11; upper quartile); low (<11)] were dichotomized. Linear regression models assessed the associations between physical activity, neuropathy and psychosocial outcomes. RESULTS A total of 194 participants were included in this analysis. We identified significant interactions between physical activity and neuropathy in the depression (p = 0.0006) and QOL (p = 0.007) models. Greater physical activity and lower neuropathy scores were independently associated with fewer depressive symptoms (p = 0.02 and p < 0.0001, respectively) and greater QOL (p = 0.005 and p < 0.0001). Low neuropathy scores were associated with lower distress (p < 0.0001). Women with high neuropathy scores had larger beneficial associations between being physically active and depression and QOL. In the distress model, interaction between neuropathy and physical activity was suggested (p = 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Physical activity was associated with favorable psychosocial outcomes in gynecologic cancer survivors, most notably among those with worse neuropathy. These data suggest prescriptive exercise should be evaluated as a means of mitigating cancer-associated neuropathies and their effect on emotional health.

Effects of the Continuous Care Model on the Health-Promoting Lifestyle in Breast Cancer Survivors: A Randomized Clinical Trial. Holist Nurs Pract 2020; 34:221-233. Abstract
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer and the chief cause of cancer-related death among women worldwide, with the incidence increasing exponentially particularly in low- to middle-income countries. The increase in the incidence of breast cancer is partly accounted for by increases in life expectancy due to improvements in public health, but also related to an increase in risk factors for cancer including smoking, excess body weight, decreased physical activity, and changes in reproductive activity. Health-promoting lifestyle is therefore one of the major topics of importance in studying chronic illnesses and cancer. Health promotion interventions, including the use of care models, have a vast contribution to make in terms of timely diagnosis and improved survival. One such care model, which has been designed to increase self-care, adherence, and performance in chronic patients, is the continuous care model (CCM). This study was conducted with the purpose of determining the influence of the CCM on the health-promoting lifestyle of patients with breast cancer during 2017-2018. In this randomized clinical trial, 60 patients with breast cancer were chosen by convenience sampling followed by random allocation into treatment and control groups. Six sessions of group discussion were held for the treatment group according to the CCM and items in the health-promoting lifestyle questionnaire. Data collection tools included a general health questionnaire, a demographic questionnaire, a family support questionnaire, and the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP), which respondents completed before and after the intervention. P values ≤ .05 were considered significant. When comparing the mean score of health-promoting lifestyle in both the control and treatment groups, before and after the intervention, significant increases in every dimension were observed. The average overall health promotion lifestyle was revealed to be significantly elevated from 123.48 to 147.12. However, in the control group the mean scores had slightly increased or were the same in all the dimensions. In addition, the average overall health promotion lifestyle had increased from 119.89 to 121.32. The observed difference in mean scores was not statistically significant. The CCM increased the score of health-promoting lifestyle of patients with breast cancer. Therefore, this caring model can be considered an alternative to improve healthy lifestyles of patients with cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gynecological cancer is a major health burden globally. In the US, it is common for cancer patients to utilize different types of complementary medicine. This study aims to investigate the prevalence of mind-body medicine use among US women diagnosed with gynecological cancer. METHODS We used data from the 2017 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) to investigate prevalence and predictors of mind-body medicine utilization in the past 12 months among gynecological cancer patients in a representative sample of the US population (N = 26,742). We descriptively analyzed the 12-month prevalence of any mind-body medicine use, separately for women with a prior diagnosis of gynecological cancer and those without. Using and b multiple logistic regression analyses, we identified predictors of mind-body medicine use. RESULTS A weighted total of 2,526,369 women (2.0%) reported having received a diagnosis of gynecological cancer. More women diagnosed with gynecological cancer (weighted n = 964,098; 38.2%) than those not diagnosed with gynecological cancer (weighted mean = 36,102,852; 28.8%) had used mind-body medicine in the past 12 months. A higher prevalence of mind-body medicine use was associated with being non-Hispanic White, living in Western US and having received higher education. Spiritual meditation was found to be the most frequently used mind-body medicine modality, followed by yoga and progressive relaxation. CONCLUSIONS While mind-body medicine is popular among US gynecological cancer patients, clinical evidence supporting the effectiveness of different mind-body medicine modalities is yet to be established. Randomized controlled trials should be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of popular modalities like spiritual meditation or yoga to inform clinical decision and patient choice.

Abstract
Physical activity (PA) interventions can improve physical functioning, treatment-related symptoms and quality of life (QoL) in cancer survivors. Most investigations have been conducted in breast cancer survivors, while studies on PA interventions in gynecological cancer survivors are scant. Here, we report for the first time the possible benefits of a structured PA pathway (i.e., eight weeks of adapted PA followed by twelve weeks of adapted fitness) on physical side effects, pain and QoL in an uncommon case of survivorship of both primary breast and gynecological cancers. For this purpose, a 69-year-old woman was assessed by functional test battery (shoulder-arm mobility, range of motion, back flexibility) at baseline and after the structured PA pathway. QoL and surgical shoulder, back and lower limb pain intensity were evaluated by Short Form-12 (SF-12) and numerical rating scale questionnaires, respectively. Lower limb circumference was also assessed. Improvement in upper limb function, reduction of lower limb edema and pain perception, as well as an increase in overall QoL were achieved after the completion of structured PA intervention. Our findings suggest that a PA intervention tailored to individual characteristics may represent an effective countermeasure to reduce post-treatment functional disability and pain, and thus to improve QoL in breast and gynecologic cancer survivors.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The natural history of physical activity levels during and following gynaecological cancer treatment is not well understood. This is required in order to establish the time at which physical activity levels are lowest in order to target cancer rehabilitation or exercise interventions in gynaecological cancer population accordingly. OBJECTIVES To conduct a systematic review to evaluate the impact of gynaecological cancer treatments on physical activity levels and to summarise the pattern of changes in physical activity levels over time among patients with gynaecological cancer. METHODS A comprehensive literature search was performed via MEDLINE (1946-2018), CINAHL (1982-2018), EMBASE (1947-2018), Ovid Emcare (1947-2018), PsycINFO (1806-2018) and the Cochrane Library (1991-2018). Studies were eligible for inclusion if they had assessed changes in physical activity levels during and after gynaecological cancer treatment. The methodological quality of the eligible studies was assessed by two independent reviewers using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Tools. RESULTS In total, six studies (three cohort studies and three cross-sectional studies) with 1607 participants were included. All studies used patient-reported physical activity measures. Two of the three cohort studies measured patient-recalled physical activity levels before diagnosis (baseline), and length of follow-up varied across all studies. The majority of participants were treated surgically±adjuvant therapy. Physical activity levels decreased at 6 months following surgery when compared with pre-treatment levels. Approximately 91% of participants did not meet physical activity guidelines 2 years following diagnosis, and 58% reported being less physically active 3 years after diagnosis, compared with the pre-diagnosis levels. CONCLUSIONS Despite the paucity of evidence and limitations in the current body of literature, this review demonstrated that compared to pre-diagnosis, levels of physical activity remain low in gynaecological cancer survivors up to 3 years after diagnosis. More research is warranted to better characterise the pattern of change of physical activity levels across the disease trajectory and identify changes in physical activity patterns by cancer treatments and gynaecological tumour streams in order to target interventions accordingly.

Abstract
The current scientific field of exercise interventions in breast cancer is very large. Rehabilitation focuses on restoring or improving quality of life and thus on independence and participation in life. Hence, it is important to investigate exercise interventions in the setting of rehabilitation and aftercare. It is also necessary to determine the influence of physical activity or exercise therapy on the prevention of recurrence and mortality as well as on certain side effects of the disease and its medical treatment in rehabilitation. Physical activity in rehabilitation and aftercare is feasible and safe and can be used for various purposes. Against the background of reduced fatigue, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, cancer-related cognitive impairment, arthralgia, lymphedema, recurrence, and mortality, as well as improved quality of life, different methodological approaches and evidence can be seen. Although the overall data availability has increased, there are gaps in study documentation as well as inadequate verification of scientific approaches in rehabilitation clinics and in everyday life.
