Abstract
A novel, simple, eco-friendly, non-toxic aluminium catalyst was synthesised for the chemoselective reduction of α,β-unsaturated ketones. A wide range of ketones were achieved with excellent yields, mild conditions, and low catalyst loading. Furthermore, this unprecedented method allowed for the stereoselective reduction of natural ketones.

Abstract
An Fe(OTf)2-catalyzed three-component coupling reaction of α,β,γ,δ-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with alkylsilyl peroxides in the presence of certain heteronucleophiles (ROH and indole) is realized under mild reaction conditions. A variety of α,β,γ,δ-diene carbonyl substrates with different substituents were successfully employable via combination with several different alkylsilyl peroxides. This new approach is also applicable to the double functionalization of diene substrates.

Abstract
A strategy of chemoselective reduction of α, β-unsaturated ketones was developed in our group. H3N·BH3 would prefer to coordinate with CO bond, forming six-membered ring, and ketones were hydrogenated via concerted double-hydrogen-transfer process.
