Abstract
Substituted alkenes, crucial in organic chemistry, are typically accessed from internal alkynes by using transition-metal catalysis. Herein, we report a novel approach to the Lewis acid-catalyzed synthesis of trisubstituted alkenes bearing a quaternary carbon from internal alkynols and 2-pyrrolyl arylamines. This method involves allene formation followed by intramolecular [5 + 1] annulation to furnish a diverse range of trisubstituted alkenes with excellent regioselectivity and poor diastereoselectivity. Further, we demonstrated the gram-scale synthesis and synthetic transformations and proposed the reaction mechanism based on the isolation of intermediates.

Abstract
Herein, we report an efficient mechanochemical synthesis of α,α-amino thioketones involving a one-pot, three-component milling of 2-oxo aldehydes, amines, and thiols. Unlike previous methods, this protocol does not require any catalyst or oxidizing additive. The reaction proceeds through the thiolation of in situ formed α-imino ketones by liquid-assisted grinding. We have successfully extended this protocol to synthesizing benzothiazoles, thiazoles, and quinoxalines, demonstrating its efficiency and potential in the field. Importantly, we have shown the gram-scale synthesis, synthetic applications, and substrate scope of this protocol, instilling confidence in its practicality.

Abstract
We report here an atom-economical, syn-diastereoselective synthesis of naphtho-fused furo[2,3-b]furans along with naphthofurans at room temperature using readily available 2-naphthols and 2-oxo aldehydes using an alkaline earth catalyst [Ca(OTf)2]. 2-Oxo aldehydes having both aryl and alkyl substitutions reacted well. A good number of arenols responded to give fused furans, but selected arenols gave only furofurans. Synthetic applications and gram-scale synthesis were also demonstrated to strengthen this strategy.

Abstract
A [3 + 1 + 2] cyclization-rearrangement reaction scheme was developed to synthesize pyrimido[1,2-b]indazoles from aryl methyl ketones, 3-aminoindazoles, and gem-diarylethenes. This metal-free process proceeds via a sequential aza-Diels-Alder reaction and Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement, and a possible reaction mechanism was demonstrated based on control experiments. This method exhibits good substrate compatibility and allows simple reaction conditions. Moreover, the products display significant aggregation-induced emission characteristics after simple modifications.

Abstract
We reveal a direct strategy for the flexible synthesis of C2-aryl/heteroaryl indoles without transition metal catalysts. The synthesis involves a one-pot, four-component reaction of readily available starting materials to offer diversity around the indole moiety with a broad substrate scope and high yields. The reaction proceeds via the Friedel-Crafts C-arylation of C-acylimine formed in situ, followed by N-arylation with aryne, a formal [3+2] cycloaddition, and a subsequent aromatization cascade.

Abstract
Among the variety of sulfonamides, triflamides (CF3SO2NHR, TfNHR) occupy a special position in organic chemistry. Triflamides are widely used as reagents, efficient catalysts or additives in numerous reactions. The reasons for the widespread use of these compounds are their high NH-acidity, lipophilicity, catalytic activity and specific chemical properties. Their strong electron-withdrawing properties and low nucleophilicity, combined with their high NH-acidity, makes it possible to use triflamides in a vast variety of organic reactions. This review is devoted to the synthesis and use of N-trifluoromethanesulfonyl derivatives in organic chemistry, medicine, biochemistry, catalysis and agriculture. Part of the work is a review of areas and examples of the use of bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (triflimide, (CF3SO2)2NH, Tf2NH). Being one of the strongest NH-acids, triflimide, and especially its salts, are widely used as catalysts in cycloaddition reactions, Friedel-Crafts reactions, condensation reactions, heterocyclization and many others. Triflamides act as a source of nitrogen in C-amination (sulfonamidation) reactions, the products of which are useful building blocks in organic synthesis, catalysts and ligands in metal complex catalysis, and have found applications in medicine. The addition reactions of triflamide in the presence of oxidizing agents to alkenes and dienes are considered separately.

Abstract
Highly robust one-pot, four-component cascade cyclization reaction of α-keto aldehydes, anilines, activated alkynes, and aromatic nucleophiles is developed to synthesize a diverse range of pharmaceutically important penta-substituted pyrroles. The reaction proceeds through the cascade cyclization of acylimines (in situ formed) with activated alkynes and aromatic nucleophiles such as indoles, pyrroles, and naphthols at room temperature under calcium(II) catalysis with high yields and broad substrate diversity.
