Abstract
In this paper, an alternative and efficient copper(I)-catalyzed synthesis of 2-sulfonyliminocoumarins is developed through a three-component reaction of ortho-hydroxybenzyl alcohol, alkynes, and p-toluenesulfonyl azide. The proposed route for access to the 2-iminocoumarin ring involves a [4 + 2] hetero-Diels-Alder reaction between ortho-quinone methide and ketenimine intermediates generated in situ.

Abstract
Ketemines represent an interesting class of organic intermediates that has undergone a regrowth as a consequence of recent extensions of copper catalyzed azide alkyne cycloaddition (Cu- AAC) to other synthetic fields. This review summarizes the most recent generation methods of ketimines from CuAAC reaction, highlighting chemical properties focused on the synthesis of cyclic compounds, among others, affording a general outlook towards the development of new biologically active compounds.

Abstract
An operationally simple synthesis of Z-configured and C3-unsubstituted N-sulfonyl-2-iminocoumarins (e.g., 8a) that proceeds under mild conditions is achieved by reacting 2-(1-hydroxyprop-2-yn-1-yl)phenols (e.g., 6a) with sulfonyl azides (e.g., 7a). The cascade process involved likely starts with a copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction. This is followed by ring-opening of the resulting metalated triazole (with accompanying loss of nitrogen), reaction of the ensuing ketenimine with the pendant phenolic hydroxyl group, and finally dehydration of the (Z)-N-(4-hydroxychroman-2-ylidene)sulfonamide so formed.

Abstract
N-Sulfonylthioimidates can be efficiently synthesized through one-pot three-component coupling of terminal alkynes, sulfonyl azides, and thiols by using a copper(i) catalyst in the presence of 4-dimethylaminopyridine. The proposed reaction is characterized by mild reaction conditions and tolerance of diverse functional groups. Additionally, the crucial pharmacophore of 3,4-dihydroquinazolines was synthesized using a one-pot synthetic strategy from N-sulfonylthioimidates.

Abstract
We herein establish a multicomponent annulation method for the synthesis of valuable iminocoumarins using aryl thiocarbamates, internal alkynes, and sulfonamides as starting materials, which are safe and readily available. The key step is a Rh-catalyzed and sulfur-directed C-H bond activation. Preliminary mechanistic investigations suggested that the nucleophilic attack of the sulfonamide on an active iminium cation finally completes the imine segment.

Abstract
A novel and straightforward strategy for the synthesis of functionalized thiazoles from thioamides, ynals, and alcohols via a copper(I)-catalyzed three-component reaction has been described. Through the formation of new C-S, C-N, and C-O bonds in one pot, it is easy to produce various valuable thiazoles fixed with aryl or heteroaryl groups. In addition, the reaction also exhibits other unique advantages, such as high step economics, good functional group tolerance, and good regioselectivity.

Abstract
A copper-catalyzed three-component reaction of terminal alkynes, TsN3, and tertiary allylic amines is developed toward the one-pot synthesis of α-allylic amidines. The product was synthesized on gram scale under 1 mol % of catalyst loading. Transformations of products into alkenyl amine and other nitrogen-containing compounds are demonstrated without any loss of stereochemical information.

Abstract
The synthesis of vinyloxyimidazopyridine with complete regio- and stereoselectivity has been achieved by the Cu(i)-catalyzed three-component coupling of 2-aminopyridine, 2-oxoaldehyde and alkyne. This protocol is operationally very simple and has much potential for the synthesis of heteroarylated vinyl ethers from basic chemicals. Steroidal imidazopyridinyl vinyl ether was obtained successfully from ethynylestradiol.

Abstract
We report herein a copper-catalyzed sequential multicomponent reaction of benzo[d]isoxazoles with terminal alkynes and sulfonyl azides, which produced divergent 4-amino-2H-chromen-2-imines with excellent chemical selectivity. The reaction tolerated a broad range of functional groups, and released only N2 as the sole byproduct. The sulfonyl imino group could be removed to give biologically active free 4-amino-2H-chromenone in good yield.

Abstract
We developed a copper-catalyzed three component reaction of aryl acetylene, enaminone and sulfonyl azide to construct iminolactone via copper-catalyzed alkyne–azide cycloaddition (CuAAC), Michael addition of metalated ketenimine followed by elimination and 6π electrocyclization.

Abstract
Copper-catalyzed cascade transformations of O-propargylic oximes and sulfonyl azides were carried out to efficiently afford α,β-unsaturated N-acylamidines. The reaction involved the intramolecular attack of the oxime group to the ketenimine moiety that was generated in situ, followed by the cleavage of the N-O bond.

Abstract
A copper(I)-catalyzed synthesis of substituted dihydropyrimidin-4-ones from propargyl amides via the formation of ketenimine intermediate has been successfully developed; the synthesis afforded good isolated yields (80-95%). The mild reaction conditions at room temperature allow the reaction to proceed to completion in a few hours without altering the stereochemistry. Further, by involving a variety of reactive nucleophiles, the obtained substituted dihydropyrimidin-4-ones were elegantly transformed into the corresponding β- and β(3)-amino acid analogues.
