Abstract
Objective: College campuses can play a pivotal role in promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma among college students. This study examines the effect of Latina/o and White students' mental health on their perceived self stigma and public stigma and the moderating role of college and university campuses' support toward perceived stigma. Participants: Survey responses of 51,821 Latina/o and White college students were examined. Method: Hierarchical regression analyses were conducted between anxiety/depressive symptoms, supportive campuses, and students' perceived self/public stigma. Results: Findings reveal that Latina/o students have statistically significantly lower perceived self/public stigma and higher anxiety/depressive symptoms than White students. Regression results show that campus support moderates the association between anxiety/depressive symptoms on perceived self stigma for White but not Latina/o students. Conclusion: Campuses need to identify ways to provide Latina/o students with more mental health awareness and support.

Abstract
The combination of artificial intelligence (AI) technology with the real economy has dramatically improved the efficiency of enterprises. However, the replacement of AI for employment also significantly impacts employees' cognition and psychological state. Based on the Conservation of Resources Theory, the relationship between AI awareness and employee depression is explored in this article while examining the mediating role of emotional exhaustion, as well as the moderating role of perceived organizational support. Based on a sample of 321 respondents, the empirical results show that (1) AI awareness is significantly positively correlated with depression; (2) emotional exhaustion plays a mediating role between AI awareness and depression; (3) perceived organizational support negatively moderates the relationship between emotional exhaustion and depression; (4) perceived organizational support negatively moderates the mediating role of emotional exhaustion between AI awareness and depression. The research conclusions provide a theoretical basis for organizations to take measures to intervene in the negative impact of changes in AI technology on employees' mental health.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Anxious depression is a common subtype of major depressive disorder (MDD) associated with adverse outcomes and severely impaired social function. The aim of this study was to explore the relationships between child maltreatment, family functioning, social support, interpersonal problems, dysfunctional attitudes, and anxious depression. METHODS Data were collected from 809 MDD patients. The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale-17 (HAMD-17), Family Assessment Device (FAD), Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Interpersonal Relationship Integrative Diagnostic Scale (IRIDS), and Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale (DAS) were administered and recorded. Anxious depression was defined as an anxiety/somatization factor score ≥ 7 on the HAMD-17. Chi-squared tests, Mann-Whitney U tests, distance correlations, and structural equation models were used for data analysis. RESULTS Two-fifths of MDD patients had comorbid anxiety, and there were significant differences in child maltreatment, family functioning, social support, interpersonal problems, and dysfunctional attitudes between groups. Of these factors, interpersonal relationships were most related to anxiety in MDD patients, and dysfunctional attitudes mediated the relationship between interpersonal relationships and anxiety in MDD patients. LIMITATIONS This study used cross-sectional data with no further follow-up to assess patient outcomes. This study did not include information about pharmacological treatments. A larger sample size is needed to validate the results. CONCLUSIONS Psychosocial factors were significantly associated with anxious depression. Interpersonal relationships and dysfunctional attitudes have a direct effect on anxious depression, and interpersonal relationships also mediate the effects of anxious depression via dysfunctional attitudes.

Abstract
Suicide is a critical public health problem. Over the past decade, suicide rates have increased among Black and Latinx adults in the U.S. Though depression is the most prevalent psychiatric contributor to suicide risk, Black and Latinx Americans uniquely experience distress and stress (e.g., structural adversity) that can independently operate to worsen suicide risk. This makes it important to investigate non-clinical, subjective assessment of mental health as a predictor of suicide ideation. We also investigate whether social support can buffer the deleterious impact of poor mental health on suicide ideation.We analyzed data from 1,503 Black and Latinx participants of the Washington Heights Community Survey, a 2015 survey of residents of a NYC neighborhood. Multivariable logistic regression was conducted to examine the effect of subjectively experienced problems with anxiety and depression on suicide ideation independent of depression diagnosis, and the role of social support as a moderator.Estimated prevalence of past two-week suicide ideation was 5.8%. Regression estimates showed significantly increased odds of suicide ideation among participants reporting moderate (OR = 8.54,95% CI = 2.44-29.93) and severe (OR = 16.84,95% CI = 2.88-98.46) versus no problems with anxiety and depression, after adjustment for depression diagnosis. Informational support, i.e., having someone to provide good advice in a crisis, reduced the negative impact of moderate levels of anxiety and depression problems on suicide ideation.Findings suggest that among Black and Latinx Americans, subjective feelings of anxiety and depression account for a significant portion of the suicide ideation risk related to poor mental health. Further, social support, particularly informational support, may provide protection against suicide ideation.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic lockdown disrupted the university sports season and had negative consequences on the academic and personal life of university student-athletes, resulting in several psychological challenges. The goal of this study is to document the symptoms of mental illness among university student-athletes during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Canada. It aims to (a) assess the prevalence of mental illness symptoms (anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and dangerous drinking) among university student-athletes and (b) identify which sociodemographic and sports characteristics, pandemic impacts, and levels of perceived stress most influence these symptoms. A total of 424 university student-athletes completed an online survey, which included questions on mental illness and the impact of the pandemic lockdown. The results revealed a notable prevalence of the symptoms of mental illness; depressive symptoms are reported by 37.9% of the participants, anxiety symptoms by 24.9%, dangerous drinking symptoms by 10.1%, and disordered eating by 8.6%. In addition, being female [OR = 0.56, 95% CI (0.33, 0.95)] or a member of a visible minority group [OR = 2.63, 95% CI (1.02, 6.78)] are significantly associated with the presence of depressive symptoms. Low academic motivation has a significant negative influence on the presence of depressive [OR = 3.37, 95% CI (1.82, 6.25)] and anxiety symptoms [OR = 2.75, 95% CI (1.35, 5.62)]. However, the presence of perceived stress was strongly associated with depressive [OR = 7.07, 95% CI (3.26, 15.35)], anxiety [OR = 6.51, 95% CI (3.30, 12.84)], and dangerous drinking symptoms [OR = 5.74, 95% CI (2.51, 13.14)]. This study advocates for specific mental illness prevention and treatment resources tailored to the unique needs of university student-athletes. Accordingly, partnerships and practical interventions to support university student-athletes' mental health are presented.

Abstract
The current study examined the mediating roles of emotion regulation strategies (i.e., cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression) and resilience in the relationship between perceived parental support and depressive symptoms among college students during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in China. A large sample of Chinese college students (N = 2, 423) participated in this investigation. Results indicated that perceived parental support was negatively related to depressive symptoms. The two emotion regulation strategies and resilience partially and serially mediated the relation between perceived parental support and depressive symptoms. Theoretical and practical implications of these results are discussed.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to explore the direct effects of extraversion and neuroticism on college freshmen's depressive symptoms and their indirect effects via social support under the background of COVID-19. METHOD A total of 3,563 college freshmen were surveyed using the extraversion and neuroticism scales of the Chinese version of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), the Chinese version of the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II), and the Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS). Partial correlation analyses and regression analyses were used. RESULTS (1) Extraversion had a significant and negative predictive effect on depressive symptoms, while neuroticism positively predicted depressive symptoms. The interaction effect between extraversion and neuroticism on depressive symptoms was also significant. Neuroticism had a greater impact on depressive symptoms in college freshmen with low levels of extraversion. (2) Furthermore, social support partially mediated the relationships between extraversion and depressive symptoms, and neuroticism and depressive symptoms. CONCLUSIONS Extraversion and neuroticism can directly affect college freshmen' s depressive symptoms, and have indirect effects via the mediating role of social support. Additionally, extraversion interacts with neuroticism, and extraversion plays a protective role in the effect of neuroticism on depressive symptoms. These findings help identify college freshmen at high risk of depression and design effective prevention or intervention measures for them.
