Abstract
We describe a case of catheter-related bacteremia caused by Mycolicibacterium iranicum in the United States. The case highlights the value of using next-generation sequencing to identify infrequent and emerging pathogens and the challenges associated with choosing appropriate treatments because of limited knowledge of drug resistance mechanisms in those emerging pathogens.

Abstract
Mycobacterium is gram positive, slow growing, disease causing Actinobacteria. Beside potential pathogenic species, Mycobacterium also contains opportunistic pathogens as well as free living non-pathogenic species. Disease related various analyses on Mycobacterium tuberculosis are very widespread. However, genomic study of overall Mycobacterium species for understanding the selection pressure on genes as well as evolution of the organism is still illusive. MLSA and 16s rDNA based analysis has been generated for 241 Mycobacterium strains and a detailed analysis of codon and amino acid usage bias of mycobacterial genes, their functional analysis have been done. Further the evolutionary features of M. avium complex also have been revealed. Mycobacterial genes are moderately GC rich showed higher expression level in PPs and significant negative correlation with biosynthetic cost of proteins. Translational selection pressure was observed in mycobacterial genes. MAC showed close relationship with NPs and higher evolutionary rate in MAC revealed their constant evolving nature.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Mycobacterium iranicum has recently been recognised as an opportunistic human pathogen. Although infectious conditions represent frequent triggers for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections are rarely associated with this entity. To this date, M. iranicum infection has never been reported in France, has never been associated with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and has never been found to be multi-resistant on standardized antimicrobial susceptibility testing. CASE PRESENTATION We report a case of a French Caucasian man with secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in the context of M. iranicum bacteraemia and Hodgkin's disease. We review available data concerning M. iranicum antimycobacterial susceptibility testing and treatment outcomes. We also review the association between hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections. CONCLUSION Interpretation of M. iranicum positive cultures remains a clinical challenge and non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections need to be considered in secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis differential diagnosis.

Abstract
Mycobacterium iranicum is a newly reported nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) species that has been previously isolated in twelve patients. Our report presents the thirteenth known case of M. iranicum, which caused septic arthritis of the right third proximal interphalangeal joint and associated tenosynovitis in a 39-year-old female following a rose thorn injury.

Abstract
We report here the draft genome sequences of eight bacterial strains of the genera Staphylococcus, Microbacterium, Mycobacterium, Plantibacter, and Pseudomonas. These isolates were obtained from aerosol sampling of bathrooms of five residences in the San Francisco Bay area. Taxonomic classifications as well as the genome sequence and gene annotation of the isolates are described. As part of the "Built Environment Reference Genome" project, these isolates and associated genome data provide valuable resources for studying the microbiology of the built environment.

Abstract
In the present study, we report the whole genome sequences of two species, Ornithinibacillus contaminans DSM22953(T) isolated from human blood and Ornithinibacillus californiensis DSM 16628(T) isolated from marine sediment, in genus Ornithinibacillus. Comparative genomic study of the two species was conducted together with their close relative Ornithinibacillus scapharcae TW25(T), a putative pathogenic bacteria isolated from dead ark clam. The comparisons showed O. contaminans DSM22953(T) had the smallest genome size of the three species indicating that it has a relatively more stable habitat. More stress response and heavy metal resistance genes were found in the genome of O. californiensis DSM 16628(T) reflecting its adaption to the complex marine environment. O. scapharcae TW25(T) contained more antibiotic resistance genes and virus factors in the genome than the other two species, which revealed its pathogen potential.
