Abstract
A palladium catalyzed annulation of o-iodo-anilines with propargyl alcohols for the synthesis of substituted quinolines has been developed. The reaction tolerates diverse functional groups under mild conditions, providing direct access to 2,4-disubstituted quinolines from easily available starting materials. A broad range of 2,4-disubstituted quinolines were efficiently prepared in good to excellent yields.

Abstract
An efficient, ligand-free, and Pd-catalyzed method for the synthesis of imidazoisoindole imine scaffolds with satisfactory yields via C-C and C-N bond formation has been developed. The synthesized scaffolds have unique potential for selective MeOH detection from other solvents, especially EtOH. The appealing features of this transformation are phosphinic ligand-free conditions, the use of a small amount of Pd(OAc)2, and a practical procedure for the synthesis of imidazoisoindole imine scaffolds.

Abstract
Isocyanides have long been known as versatile chemical reagents in organic synthesis. Their ambivalent nature also allows them to function as a CO-substitute in palladium-catalyzed cross couplings. Over the past decades, isocyanides have emerged as practical and versatile C1 building blocks, whose inherent N-substitution allows for the rapid incorporation of nitrogeneous fragments in a wide variety of products. Recent developments in palladium catalyzed isocyanide insertion reactions have significantly expanded the scope and applicability of these imidoylative cross-couplings. This review highlights the advances made in this field over the past eight years.

Abstract
:
C-N bond formation reactions are the most important transformations in
(bio)organic chemistry because of the widespread occurrence of amines in pharmaceuticals,
natural products, and biologically active compounds. The Hofmann rearrangement is
a well-known method used for the preparation of primary amines from amides. But, the
traditional version of the Hofmann rearrangement often gave relatively poor yields due to
over-oxidation or due to the poor solubility of some amides in aqueous base, and created
an enormous amount of waste products. Developments over the last two decades, in particular,
have focused on refining both of these factors affecting the reaction. This review
covers both the description of recent advances (2000-2019) in the Hofmann
rearrangements and its applications in the synthesis of heterocycles, natural products and
complex molecules of biological interest. It is revealed that organo-catalytic systems especially hypervalent
iodine-based catalysts have been developed for the green and environmentally friendly conversion of
carboxamides to primary amines and carbamates.

Abstract
A simple and expedient approach for the synthesis of functionalized 2-aminoquinolines via palladium-catalyzed annulation of N-acyl- o-alkynylanilines with isocyanides has been developed with high atom economy, in which an unconventional 6- endo-dig cyclization process is observed. Further investigations of the mechanism demonstrated that an intramolecular acyl migration of the N-protecting groups was involved in this transformation.

Abstract
Herein, a novel strategy for the synthesis of various heterocyclic fused 2-aminoquinolines via palladium-catalyzed tandem cyclization of o-alkynylanilines with isocyanides has been developed. This process includes trans-oxy/aminopalladation, isocyanide insertion, elimination and 1,3-hydrogen migration. Besides high atom and step economy, this method shows good functional group compatibility with excellent chemo- and regioselectivities under mild reaction conditions.

Abstract
A facile domino reaction of 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehydes in one and two equivalents of isocyanide has been investigated. Three-component reactions of 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehydes, isocyanides and amines are also described. In this Pd-catalyzed reaction under controlled conditions, three novel types of quinoline derivatives were formed via amidation, lactamization or carbamate formation along with the formation of C-C, C-N, and C-O bonds in a one-pot procedure.
