Abstract
A new humic acid-based nanomagnetic copper(II) composite was prepared and used as an eco-friendly recoverable catalyst for synthesizing 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles. The synthesis was done via the three-component click reaction of alkyl halide, sodium azide, and terminal alkyne with good to excellent yield. A simple magnetic copper acetate composite, Fe3O4@HA-Cu(OAc)2, was prepared using humic acid and characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, EDX, EDS-mapping, VSM, TGA, AAS, and FT-IR. The catalyst showed high catalytic potential in a one-pot three-component click reaction in the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles. The nanomagnetic Fe3O4@HA-Cu(OAc)2 catalyst demonstrated high efficiency, stability, compatibility with oxygen/water and recyclable copper(II), with cost-effectiveness. The catalyst was easily recovered with an external magnetic field, and therefore, time and energy were saved as no filtration or decantation technique was needed. Due to the high dispersibility in water, nanomagnetic Fe3O4@HA-Cu(OAc)2 was utilized as a highly efficient catalyst for the click synthesis of triazoles.

Abstract
N,N-Dimethylformamide was reacted with hexamethyldisilazane to generate an N,N-dimethylformimidamide intermediate; thereafter, a reaction with acetophenones/β-diketones was induced to form enaminones. The one-pot synthetic protocol described in this paper can be applied to synthesize 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles and 1,4,5-trisubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles, in which organic azides are used as substrates under optimized conditions. Furthermore, this protocol uses readily available materials, is nearly free of solvent, can be applied to gram-scale operations, and leads to the formation of structurally diverse products with favorable yields.

Abstract
Alkynes have two active positions to carry out chemical reactions: C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C and C-H. These two positions are involved and activated in different reactions using different reagents. In this study, we investigated the reactions of alkynes that are involved in multi-component reactions through the C-C and C-H positions and examined the progress and gaps of each reaction by carefully studying the mechanism of the reactions. Firstly, we investigated and analyzed the reactions involving the C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C position of alkynes, including the reactions between derivatives of alkynes with RN3, sulfur compounds (RSO2R', DMSO, S8, DABCO(SO2)2 and DABSO), barbituric acids, aldehydes and amines, COOH, α-diazoesters or ketones, and isocyanides. Then, we examined and analyzed the important reactions involving the C-H position of alkynes and the progress and gaps in these reactions, including the reaction between alkyne derivatives with amines and aldehydes for the synthesis of propargylamines, the reaction between alkynes with CO2 and the reaction between alkynes with CO.

Abstract
Triazole scaffolds, a series of 5-membered heterocycles, are well known for their high efficacy, low toxicity, and superior pharmacokinetics. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the first neurodegenerative disorder with complex pathological mechanisms. Triazole, as an aromatic group with three nitrogen atoms, forms polar and non-polar interactions with diverse key residues in the receptor-ligand binding procedure, and has been widely used in the molecular design in the development of anti-AD agents. Moreover, considering the simple synthesis approaches, triazole scaffolds are commonly used to link two pharmacodynamic groups in one chemical molecule, forming multi-target directed ligands (MTDLs). Furthermore, the click reaction between azide- and cyano-modified enzyme and ligand provides feasibility for the new modulator discovery, compound tissue distribution evaluation, enzyme localization, and pharmacological mechanism study, promoting the diagnosis of AD course.

Abstract
Triazole, comprising three nitrogen atoms and two carbon atoms, is divided into two isomers 1,2,3-triazole and 1,2,4-triazole. Compounds containing a triazole are one of the significant heterocycles that exhibit broad biological activities, such as antimicrobial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antineoplastic, antimalarial, antiviral, antiproliferative, and anticancer activities. A great quantity of drugs with a triazole structure has been developed and proved, for example, ketoconazole and fluconazole. Given the importance of the triazole scaffold, its synthesis has attracted much attention. This review summarizes the synthetic methods of triazole compounds from various nitrogen sources in the past 20 years.

Abstract
Alkynes are one of the most abundant chemicals in organic chemistry, and therefore the development of catalytic reactions to transform alkynes into other useful functionalities is of great value. In recent decades, extraordinary advances have been made in this area with transition-metal catalysis, and silver-based reagents are ideal for the activation of alkynes. This high reactivity is probably due to the superior π-Lewis acidic, carbophilic behavior of silver(I), allowing it to selectively activate carbon-carbon triple bonds (C≡C) through the formation of a silver-π complex. Within this field, we have been interested in the activation and subsequent reactions of readily accessible terminal alkynes for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing compounds, which has generally received less attention than methods involving internal alkynes. This is possibly due to the lack of suitable reactive reaction partners that are compatible under transition metals. Therefore, a thorough understanding of the factors that influence homogeneous silver catalysis and the identification of the appropriate reaction partners can provide a powerful platform for designing more efficient silver-catalyzed reactions of terminal alkynes. In this context, we envisioned that using readily available, environmentally benign, and inexpensive trimethylsilyl azide (TMSN3) or an isocyanide as the nitrogen-donor would be the key to develop novel reactions of terminal alkynes. This Account describes our efforts since 2013 toward the development of novel silver-catalyzed tandem reactions of terminal alkynes with either TMSN3 or isocyanides for the assembly of various nitrogen-containing compounds. The first section of this Account discusses the initial developments in the silver-catalyzed hydroazidation of terminal alkynes with TMSN3 and the subsequent advances made in our laboratory. We first describe the discovery and experimental and computational mechanistic investigations of silver-catalyzed hydroazidation reactions, which is the most efficient strategy reported to date for accessing vinyl azides. Mechanistic study of this hydroazidation reaction provides an alternative activation mode for terminal alkyne conversion in transition metal catalysis. We then present the chemistry of in situ generated vinyl azides, including one-pot tandem radical addition/cyclization or migration reactions of terminal alkynes to access a variety of nitrogen-containing molecules. Finally, we discuss the one-pot, multistep tandem hydroazidation and 1,2-azide migratory gem-difluorination of terminal alkynes for the synthesis of β-difluorinated alkyl azides. The second section describes the silver-catalyzed coupling reactions between terminal alkynes and isocyanides, which offer a straightforward method for accessing synthetically useful building blocks, such as pyrroles, allenamides, benzofuran, vinyl sulfones, indazolines, propiolonitriles, and pyrazoles. The high efficiency, mild conditions, low cost, broad substrate scope, high chemo- and regioselectivity, step economy, and ecofriendliness of the developed approaches make them attractive and practical. The progress in this area provides guiding principles for designing new reactions of terminal alkynes that can be extended to various nitrogen-containing molecules of interest to medicinal and materials chemists.
