Abstract
This study validates a computational protocol to predict the stability of heterodinuclear complexes by varying ligands on both moieties and analyzing the reaction Gibbs free energy (ΔGr) values. To this purpose, a series of Eu-Al complexes with the general formula [Eu(LEu)3Al(LAl)3], where LEu is the ligand of europium and LAl is an oxygen donor ligand of aluminum, is used. The nature of the bridging bonds and thermochemical characteristics (ΔGr, enthalpy, and entropy) of the complexes were evaluated via DFT calculations. We demonstrated that both entropic and enthalpic effects play a relevant role in the stability. The analysis of the series allows us to identify three ΔGr ranges where heterodinuclear complexes are (i) stable and easy to characterize, (ii) fragile and difficult to characterize, and (iii) not observed (unreacted precursors are recovered). To rationalize the trend of the stability and correlate it with the chemical nature of the ligands, we investigated the condensed Fukui function on the Al fragment. Results suggest that to obtain stable heteronuclear complexes, it is necessary to consider ligands with small condensed Fukui function values. This corresponds to a less nucleophilic oxygen site, yet counterintuitively, it allows the ligand to delocalize the received electronic charge and stabilize the complex.

Abstract
Interaction of the lanthanide nitrates M(NO3)3 (M = Gd, Eu) with methylcucurbit[5]uril (Me10Q[5]) in the presence of transition metal chlorides (ZnCl2 and FeCl3) in acidic media resulted in the isolation of the complexes [Me10Q[5]Gd(H2O)2Cl Gd(H2O)6](ZnCl4)2∙Cl∙8.9H2O (1) and [Me10Q[5]Eu(H2O)3Cl(H3O)](FeCl4)3 (2). The molecular structures of 1 and 2 have been determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography, and reveal discrete complexes which are involved in dense stacking with adjacent Me10Q[5]s linked via H-bonding and/or metal anions resulting in a supramolecular assembly.

Abstract
The set of TX3-TrX2 (T = C, Si, Ge; Tr = B, Al, Ga; X = F, Cl, Br) molecules offers a rather unique opportunity to study both σ-hole and π-hole dimerization on the tetrel and triel ends, respectively. According to the molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) distribution, the π-hole extrema (acidic sites) were more intense than their σ-hole counterparts. The molecules owning the most (CX3-AlX2) and least (SiX3-BX2) intense π-holes were chosen to evaluate their capacities to attract one and two HCN molecules (Lewis bases). We discovered that the energetic characteristics of π-hole dimers severely conflict with the monomers MEP pattern since the weakest π-hole monomer forms a dimer characterized by interaction energy compared to those created by the monomers with noticeably greater power in the π-hole region. This outcome is due to the deformation of the weakest π-hole donor. Furthermore, the MEP analysis for monomers in the geometry of respective dimers revealed a "residual π-hole" site that was able to drive second ligand attachment, giving rise to the two "unusual trimers" examined further by the NCI and QTAIM analyses. Apart from them, the π-hole/π-hole and σ-hole/π-hole trimers have also been obtained throughout this study and described using energetic and geometric parameters. The SAPT approach revealed details of the bonding in one of the "unusual trimers". Finally, Born-Oppenheimer Molecular Dynamics (BOMD) simulations were carried out to investigate the time evolution of the interatomic distances of the studied complexes as well as their stability.

Abstract
Salt bridges were used to attach polymerisable amidine monomers to an oligomeric benzoic acid template. CuAAC oligomerisation reactions in the presence of a benzoic acid 3-mer template gave the amidine 3-mer copy as the major product. Cleavage of ester linkers was used to hydrolyse off the amidine recognition units and convert the product into a benzoic acid 3-mer copy of the original template.

Abstract
The present article comprehensively examines six N'-(adamantan-2-ylidene)hydrazide derivatives using the Hirshfeld surface analysis, PIXEL energy for molecular dimers, lattice energies for crystal packing, and topological analysis for intramolecular and intermolecular interactions. The crystal structure of one of the N'-(adamantan-2-ylidene)hydrazide derivatives, namely, N'-(adamantan-2-ylidene)-5-bromothiophene-2-carbohydrazide 1, C15H17N2OSBr, has been determined and analyzed in detail along with five closely related structures. The molecular conformation of 1 is locked by an intramolecular C-S···N chalcogen bond as found in one of its closely related structure, namely, N'-(adamantan-2-ylidene)thiophene-2-carbohydrazide. Furthermore, a detailed potential energy surface scan analysis has been performed to highlight the importance of a chalcogen bond. Two of these compounds possess syn-orientation for amide units, whereas the corresponding moiety exhibits anti-conformations in the remaining four structures. The Hirshfeld surface and its decomposed fingerprint plots provide a qualitative picture of acyl substituent effects on the intermolecular interactions toward crystal packing of these six structures. Intermolecular interaction energies for dimers observed in these structures calculated by density functional theory (B97D3/def2-TZVP) and PIXEL (MP2/6-31G**) methods are comparable. This study also identifies that multiple hydrogen bonds, including N/C-H···O/N and C-H···π interactions, are collectively responsible for a self-assembled synthon. The nature and strength of these interactions have been studied using atoms in molecule topological analysis. The in vitro antiproliferative activity of compound 1 was assessed against five human tumor cell lines and showed marked antiproliferative activity.
